The main goal of this study was not only to investigate the effectiveness of the FGX Dry Separator for removing pure rock from run-of-mine coal producing a better feed stock for conventional coal preparation plants but also to optimize the FGX Dry Separator performance for producing a salable clean coal product without using the conventional wet coal preparation processes. A Model FGX-1 Dry Separator with feed throughput capacity of 10 tph was extensively tested at the Illinois Coal Development Park using two coal samples having distinctly different cleaning characteristics. Statistically designed experimental programs were conducted to indentify critical process variables and optimize FGX Dry Separator performance by systematic adjustments of critical process variable parameters. The coal cleaning performance of the FGX Dry Separator was evaluated for the particle size range of 63.5 x 4.76 mm in most cases, although FGX Dry Separator feed consisted of nominal -63.5 mm run-of-mine coals. The best cleaning performance obtained from the FGX Dry Separator is described by specific gravity of separation (SG50) and probable error (Ep) values of 1.98 and 0.17, respectively. The SG50 and Ep values for individual size fractions were as follow: 1.90 and 0.12 for the +50.8 mm size fraction, 1.95 and 0.18 for the 50.8 x 25.4 mm size fraction, 2.01 and 0.19 for the 25.4 x 12.7 mm size fraction, and 2.03 and 0.23 for the 12.7 x 4.76 mm size fraction. These process efficiency measures produced a clean coal with ash content of 13.38% from a feed coal with ash content of 34.45%. Ash content of tailings and middlings streams were 85.09% and 39.57%, respectively. Total sulfur contents of corresponding streams were 3.87%, 4.68%, 6.87%, and 4.62%. For a relatively easy to clean Illinois No 6 seam coal (Cleaning Index: 0.72), only about 0.42% of the clean coal (i.e., 1.6 float fraction) present in the feed was lost to the tailings stream. For a relatively difficult to clean coal (Cleaning Index: 0.53), about 0.98% of the clean coal present in the feed was lost to the tailings stream.

"Copper-zinc ores often contain gold and silver, which can be recovered into copper concentrate by flotation as by-product. The challenges for operations that produce copper, zinc, gold and silver are the separation of copper and zinc and the low grade of precious metals. Ashele copper-zinc ore in north China contains 2.38% Cu, 0.69% Zn, 0.21 g/t Au and 18.10 g/t Ag and the plant produces copper and zinc concentrates, with gold and silver being recovered into copper concentrate. Copper occurs mainly as chalcopyrite and Zn occurs as sphalerite. Copper is well recovered with a recovery of over 94%. However, the recovery of Zn is substantially low (around 50%) due to fine grain size of sphalerite. In addition, gold recovery is much lower than expected and only 33% of gold in the flotation feed was recovered. The grade of gold in copper concentrate is also lower than the required payable grade (1.0 g/t). To determine the cause for lower Zn and Au recoveries, a plant survey program was conducted on the operation. The information acquired shows that the loss of Zn was mainly in the copper concentrates (accounting for approximately 38% of the head assay); of which, 24% was liberated, 8.5% was associated with chalcopyrite and 4.6% was associated with pyrite, indicating that the separation of copper and zinc was the main cause for the Zn loss, with liberation being the second cause for Zn loss. Future effort in improving Zn recovery should be focused on the separation of zinc from copper. Gold in the ore occurs as both microscopic gold and submicroscopic gold, accounting for 36% and 64% of the head assay, respectively. Microscopic gold occurs mainly as native gold and electrum; it is relatively coarse with a grain size of 10 to 240 µm and a large portion can be recovered by gravity. Submicroscopic gold was mainly carried by pyrite (accounting for 38%), and to a less extent, by tennantite (15%) and chalcopyrite (10%). Gold in sphalerite is nominal (1%). It is suggested that more coarse gold and tennantite be recovered and a gold recovery increase can then be achieved to obtain a copper concentrate with over 1.0 g/t Au through flowsheet optimization. Gravity concentration should be investigated and may be worth added into the existing flowsheet to maximum the gold recovery and grade.INTRODUCTIONCopper-zinc ores containing gold and silver is a subtype of polymetallic sulphide ores. Unlike porphyry copper sulphide ores and iron-oxide copper-gold ores, this type of ores often contains substantial amounts of zinc and lead. Polymetallic sulphide ores are mainly distributed in Canada, such as at the LaRonde and Horne deposits. Other examples include Mt. Morgan in Australia and Boliden in Sweden. Globally, production and reserves from gold-rich VMS deposits account for 1370 t gold. This is equivalent to 1% of the world production and reserves, whereas the Canadian total for gold-rich VMS deposits is 870 t, representing close to 10 % of Canadian production and reserves (Gosselin & Dube, 2005a, 2005b). Flotation is the principal process for processing the copper-zinc sulphides ores, for subsequent smelting, roasting, or hydrometallurgical treatment. Oxidized copper-zinc ores can also be processed using leaching technology. For example, at LaRonde operation (a Cu-Zn-Pb ore containing 3-4 g/t Au and 60-100 g/t Ag) the flowsheet consists mainly of a copper flotation circuit and a zinc flotation circuit followed by a cyanidation process of flotation tails. The precious metals are recovered with copper concentrate, zinc concentrate and cyanidation of zinc tails via Merrill Crowe precipitation (Zhou et al., 2005)."

Image analysis studies were performed on mill products from laboratory flotation tests of the Zn-Pb ore from the Faro deposit in Yukon, Canada, to determine mineral liberations at specific grinds and to predict recoveries at optimum flotation conditions. The minimum and optimum grinds for liberating sphalerite and galena were predicted from size analysis data for the minerals in large ore pieces, and determined by image analysis studies of the mill products. The determined optimum grinds are about 2 Tyler mesh sizes larger than predicted because sane of the fine grained sphalerite and galena occurs in interstices between coarser grained pyrite and is liberated when the pyrite grains are broken apart. Materials balance calculations were performed on the analyzed values for the liberated and unliberated sphalerite and galenaa to determine their distributions in the mill products. The laboratory flotation tests recovered 74% of the sphalerite and 83% of the galena in Zn and Pb concentrates respectively. The mineral evaluation study indicates that the optimum recovery for sphalerite and galena are 85 and 83% respectively. The company is currently recovering 80% 'of the sphalerite and 82% of the galena.

As part of its mission to develop technology to assure a continuing supply of minerals, the US Bureau of Mines has investigated the flocculation of a Stillwater, MT, chromite ore. The ore was flocculated at different solids contents and at different stirring speeds to determine the importance and effect of hydrodynamic factors. In acidic and basic pH, the chromite ore was flocculated with high molecular weight polyacrylamides differing in the degree of hydrolysis. Polyacrylamides were found to bind to chromite ore particles through hydrogen bonding. The anionicity of the polymer and the pH affected the degree of polymer-particle interaction, which in turn affected polymer conformation at the surface. A polymer conformation with many loops and tails was used to explain high flocculation efficiency. It was found that such a conformation could compensate for poor hydrodynamic conditions.

Until relatively recent times, virtually all gold was recovered by gravity and/ or amalgamation methods. Although such techniques are very effective on coarse gold, they become increasingly less useful for finer grains especially when the gold is partly enclosed in rock matrix. Throughout the nineteenth century a number of bonanza gold fields were found in the United States, South Africa, Australia and Canada. In every case the abundant supply of gold nuggets and coarse alluvial gold soon gave way to hard rock mining with its inevitable losses of fine gold in the stamp mill tailings. Continuing efforts to develop new technologies capable of dissolving gold from finely ground ore were eventually successful first with chlorination (the Plattner process) and subsequently with cyanidation. Even before the nineteenth century, however, European chemists such as Scheele and Berthollet were aware that gold could be readily dissolved in an excess of free cyanide(1). As early as 1840, a patent was issued to the Elkington brothers for the dissolution of pure gold in cyanide solution and its subsequent plating onto various metals, with or without an applied electrical current. In 1846, Elsner showed that oxygen was also required to solubilize gold or silver in cyanide media(1). Despite the fact that much work was done on the reaction of cyanide solutions with gold, a viable leaching process for gold ores did not quickly emerge although cyanide solutions were used to enhance amalgamation from the 1860s onward. Major problems were associated with the use of concentrated cyanide solutions; the costs of cyanide were excessive and it was difficult to recover gold from the concentrated media.

"The Brunswick Mine ore requires fine grinding to achieve liberation of minerals. With 25mm slugs as the grinding media in the ball mill, there was a limitation of a P80 of 25 microns on the CuPb regrind circuit. Results from pilot plant testing showed that the separation efficiency could be increased through fine grinding with a P80 of 15 microns.Options considered were the capital expenditure for new fine grinding equipment such as a vertimill or the use of the present ball mill equipment with smaller media. The Wheelabrator Allevard Enterprise (WAE) millpebs product was chosen because it was a smaller media with a distribution of steel pellets between 5 to 12 mm.With millpebs the grinding product was reduced in size from a P80 of 25 microns to a P80 of less than 19 microns. The power draw to achieve the finer grind was 13% lower while the media consumption was 57% higher.The millpebs grinding media was also tested on the zinc regrind mill. The purpose of the trial was to understand what the media consumption and power draw would be with the charge lowered to achieve an equivalent grind as obtained with the slugs. The media consumption was approximately the same and the power draw was reduced by 30%.INTRODUCTIONThe Brunswick Mine ore is a complex Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag sulphide ore with the grain size of the minerals varying from submicron blebs to particles up to several mm in size. The ore is ground progressively finer in stages. The first step of grinding occurs in the SAG mill circuit. The product sizing 80% passing 95 microns is fed to the CuPb prefloat stage (Cormier et al 2002). The tails from the prefloat is then further ground to a P80 of 35 microns for the CuPb rougher flotation. The final liberation for the CuPb circuit takes place in the CuPb regrind circuit. The regrinding mill further liberates the cleaner scavenger concentrate, second cleaner tails and third cleaner tails. The reasoning for the progressive grinding is to achieve fine grinding without having galena over ground due to its high specific gravity that preferentially sends it to the cyclone underflow."

Gallium (Ga) and Germanium (Ge) are essential strategic elements that are extensively used as semiconductors in many technological fields. Owing to their essential uses and supply disruption, Ga and Ge are deemed critical by the U.S. They are typically found as substitutions or inclusions in zinc minerals. However, their distributions within zinc minerals are not well understood. To address this, trace element and mineralogy analyses of representative samples obtained from an old high-zinc-grade tailing were performed using various qualitative and quantitative techniques. These techniques included Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Tescan Integrated Mineralogical Analysis (TIMA) with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). Moreover, bench-scale froth flotation tests were conducted to enrich zinc minerals, the major hosts of Ga and Ge, using PAX as a collector, Na2S as a sulfidizer, Pb(NO3)2 as an activator, and MIBC as a frother. Comprehensive characterization analyses of the flotation products showed significant enrichment of Zn, Ga and Ge in the flotation concentrates.

Dry magnet separators are used to upgrade and beneficiate a wide variety of minerals such as hematite and magnetite materials. In recent years advances in dry magnetic separators have improved their performance. Fine particle separation is one of the main areas which still remain weak. This paper will present a new design of fine particle drum separators which used for particle size less than 3 mm. A big problem in processing of iron ore is the grade and recovery of mineral values in the fines fraction. The new design high efficiency drum separator is developed to handle fine feeds. In this drum separators both of the drum shell and magnetic yoke rotate in opposite direction. the results showed that when the material feed size was = 1298 μm, drum shell speed was 42.5 rev/min, magnetic yoke speed was 100 rev/min and the maximum intensity of magnetic field was at = 30° the feed grade increased from 50.87 to 65.67 in concentrate box, increase to 60.45 in middle box and tail grade was 24.44. The total achieved recovery for both concentrate and middle box was 81.89 per cent.

The role of flotation columns in comparison with conventional mechanical flotation cells is discussed under the scenario of Brazilian flotation technology. All iron ore concentrator circuits commissioned since 1990 incorporated column only flotation technology in rougher, cleaner, scavenger configuration. Columns were also added to existing circuits, especially at the cleaner stage. Columns were also incorporated to phosphate ore flotation circuits operating mechanical cells. In two phosphate concentrators, columns substituted for all mechanical cells. Columns perform the cleaning stage in a large sulfide copper concentrator, following rougher flotation in tank cells. Scavenger of the cleaner tailings is performed in tank cells at this plant. Other ores that are concentrated in flotation columns include graphite, talc, lead-zinc sulfide, and a zinc hydrometallurgical residue for silver recovery.

The possible value of the red hematite iron ore of the southern Appalachian States, if some practicable method of concentrating it could be devised, has long been recognized. The ore is very low grade, and although in enormous quantities, particularly in the States of Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia, is only at a few points rich enough to work, and even the best of it ranks among the lowest grade iron ores being mined in the United States. A cheap method of beneficiating this ore would make enormous quantities available and vastly increase the iron-ore resources of the country. However, this low-grade ore in effect constitutes a potential iron reserve, and as long as ample quantities of ore can be obtained elsewhere the question of its utilization does not demand immediate notice. Where these ores are in part of workable grade, however, a problem of more immediate importance arises which, from considerations of economy and prevention of waste in their mining, ought to be solved or, at least, attacked as quickly as possible. Where these ores are being worked they are usually intimately associated with lowergrade material that in mining is left behind. The difficulty and expense of going into ground broken by old workings makes the recovery of this lower-grade ore practically impossible and it is lost forever. Success in concentrating the red ores, therefore, would save material that is now being irretrievably lost. The successful largescale concentration of low-grade ore in the last few years on the Lake Superior iron ranges should encourage the attack of similar problems in the Birmingham district. While studying iron-mining methods in the United States for the Bureau of Mines, Dwight E. Woodbridge, consulting mining engineer of the bureau, was impressed with the importance of this problem, and believed it merited the attention of the bureau. Accordingly, Mr. Woodbridge had Mr. W. J. Penhallegon, general superintendent of ore mines and quarries of the Republic Iron & Steel Co., of Birmingham, send the author of this report five samples of the unworkable siliceous ores of the district. The results of concentration experiments with these ores made a more thorough 'and systematic investigation desirable. In consequence, the author subsequently collected samples in the district, and these became the basis of the experimental work described in this report. The results are published by the Bureau of Mines as a part of its efforts to increase efficiency in the utilization of mineral resources. The experiments were conducted in the geological laboratory of the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., with the aid of Raymond Leibensperger, mining assistant. The chemical analyses were made by A. C. Fieldner, chemist, of the Bureau of Mines. The author wishes to express his appreciation of the courtesies extended to him by the mining companies of the district, and particularly to Mr. W. J. Penhallegon, of the Republic Iron & Steel Co. To identify and characterize potential domestic chromium resources, the Bureau of Mines investigated podifom chromite deposits along the Border Ranges Fault in southern Alaska. Part 1 of this two-part report describes an extensive field investigation and preliminary resource evaluation studies by the Bureau's Alaska Field Operations Center. This paper, part 2, describes the mineralogy of 38 samples that were collected from low-grade deposits in the Chugach Mountains, on the Kenai Peninsula, and on Kodiak Island, and presents the results of laboratory batch beneficiation tests designed to concentrate the chromite. The samples are peridotites and chromites that consist primarily of variable amounts of chromite, olivine, and serpentine. They were beneficiated by a sequence of grinding, sizing, and gravity concentration operations. Twenty-four high-chromium or marginal high-chromium chromite concentrates, six high-iron or marginal high-iron chromite concentrates, and five submarginal concentrates were produced with chromium recoveries that ranged from 37 to 95 pct. Three very low-grade samples were not beneficiated. These results indicate that several of the de- posits may be significant chromium resources, Potential precious metals association with the chromite was also investigated. Analysis of these samples indicates that the chromite deposits are not good platinum sources.

"The SGS carbon-in-pulp (CIP) / carbon-in-leach (CIL) model was used to evaluate and optimize the carbon circuit at Alamos Gold’s Young-Davidson Mine. Plants samples (pulp and carbon) were tested in a series of small scale batch experiments to determine rates of gold leaching and adsorption on carbon from a combined flotation concentrate/tailing product. The testwork data, along with existing plant data were then used to model the performance of the existing CIL plant and optimize the circuit to improve performance and overall recovery. The primary purpose of the modelling exercise was to determine the most cost effective way to lower solution losses at the plant. The modelling was also used to learn how the various parameters in the CIL circuit affect solution losses and the gold inventory tied up on the carbon. This resulted in recommendations for minor changes in the CIL flowsheet, which were successfully implemented in the plant. The approach, results and plant changes are presented.INTRODUCTION This paper presents the details from testwork conducted on samples from Alamos Gold’s Young- Davidson gold mine which is located near the town of Matachewan, approximately 60 km west of Kirkland Lake in Northern Ontario, within the southwestern part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The objective of the test program (completed by SGS Canada in 2013) was to investigate and model the combined flotation concentrate / tailing carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit and suggest ways to improve gold recovery. The metallurgical test program included mineralogy, rheology, and carbon modelling testwork. Plant information was provided during the test program and used in the optimization process. Upon completion of the testwork, plant changes were recommended and implemented at site (October 2014). Plant results from 2014 to 2017 confirmed the modelling results."

A detailed description is given of Bunker Hill's concentration process employed at the company's lead-zinc property in the Coeur d'Alene district, Idaho. The plant is equipped to process 3000 tpd of Pb-Zn ore. The history of the Bunker Hill mine dates back to Aug. 26, 1885, when Noah S. Kellogg found the outcrop of the Bunker Hill orebody on the hillside of Milo Gulch above the present town of Wardner, Idaho. A small concentrator was erected in 1886, and before the railroad came, the mine output was transported by mule teams to the head of navigation on Coeur d'Alene Lake. After ten years of production, an interest was purchased in the Tacoma smelter at Tacoma, Wash., to which the entire output was shipped. In 1916 and 1917, a modern lead smelting plant and refinery was erected, and a modern electrolytic zinc reduction plant was built in 1927-1928 by the Sullivan Mining Co. which was 50 pct owned (and now totally owned) by the Bunker Hill Co. The first concentrator, a 100-tpd capacity plant, was built in 1886 near the Reed Tunnel in Wardner. The treatment consisted simply of crushing ore to 2 in. and then to 1/2 in. through rolls in closed circuit with a bucket elevator and trommel screen. The undersize was further sized in trommels to 10 mm and 3 mm. Oversize from the latter was treated in Hartz jigs. The 3 mm undersize was classified in crude hydraulic classifiers furnishing sands to sand jigs, the overflow being dewatered in a long V tank which supplied sands to a Cornish buddle and to Frue vanners. The concentrates were of excellent grade, old records showing assays of 69 pct lead and 29 oz. of silver per ton. Tailings were high inasmuch as the provision for treating the slimes was inadequate. Since the erection of the first mill, the Bunker Hill plant has gone through many changes and improvements. In succeeding years, the flowsheet was enlarged somewhat with Huntington and Chilean mills, vanners, tables, ball mills, and flotation cells being progressively added. In the transition period to the present day practice, the object was not only to improve the equipment for better mechanical performance, but to add new equipment whenever practicable so as to improve both grade and recovery of the product at a lower cost. For the modern plant and flow-sheet, see Figs. 1 and 2. The history of flotation at Bunker Hill dates back to 1913 when experimental work was done in a cell in which the pulp was circulated through a centrifugal pump set outside the cell and discharged against a baffle in the cell. The cell was built with a spitzkasten, and the quiet zone in the latter tended to let the froth break down before it got to the overflow weir. To remedy this situation, a belt drag with light metal flights was arranged for drawing off the froth over a ramp in each cell. Recovery of lead was not as high as present day practice, but was so much better than the vanners that the cells were multiplied gradually to eight cell units. The mill men called them mud hens. Flow between the cells was controlled by a weir, which determined the pulp level in each cell. These early machines were called Bunker Hill machines. The tailings were later treated in pneumatic scavenger flotation machines in a series, producing concentrates for retreatment in the Bunker Hill cleaners as well as the final tailings. This system of flotation served with minor changes until the Fahrenwald machine was developed at Bunker Hill during the period from 1921 to 1925. In 1925, the Fahrenwald flotation machine gradually replaced the Bunker Hill machine, although the Hearing pneumatic scavengers for retreatment of the tailings from the Fahrenwald machines were retained in the lead section until 1928. The use of the Hearing pneumatic machine for cleaning the rougher concentrates was begun in 1924. In 1941, plans were made for remodeling and modernizing the concentrator, the goal being a modern concentrator employing the latest equipment and milling practices. The old wooden building was to be replaced by a steel and concrete structure. Shortly after preliminary work got under way, the United States entered World War II and the demands for metals increased. To meet this requirement, the management decided to increase the capacity of the concentrator to 1800 tpd. This was accomplished in record time by the construction and operation of a sink-float plant. Installation of this plant was the first step in the general plan for modernization. In 1947 the concentrator (including the sink-float plant) was enlarged to handle 3000 tpd. Milling operations today are at the rate of 2300 tpd, five days per week. During 1959, 453,000 tons of ore was beneficiated. The Bunker Hill concentrator is in three sections: the crushing plant, a 3000-ton capacity storage bin, and the concentrator building. The crushing plant is of wood design with a gunnite coating on the exterior.

Pyrite (FeS2), chalcopyrite (CuFeS2), sphalerite (ZnS) and galena (PbS) generate hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) when placed in water, with pyrite generating the most amount of H2O2. The order of these minerals for generating H2O2 in water is: pyrite > chalcopyrite > sphalerite > galena. In previous research, the methods of generation of H2O2 in the grinding mill were studied. In this study, data from experiments were included by using MODDE 9 software for six parameters composed of water, grinding media, particle size; adding collector to the grinding, and adding depressant and pH. Finally the optimal condition was achieved. According to the results, most of the recovery is related to the particle 75 μ size and when using processed water, adding 100% collector and without depressant and pH 10. The most recovery of lead in the case of the use of fresh water is in the case of 100% collector, without depressant, pH 10 and 150 μ particle size. Maximum recovery in fraction size 45 μ in the case of water process is 100% collector, without depressant and pH 10. METALLURGISTS and mill operators appreciate, in a general way, .the economic or commercial relationship between recovery and grade of product but few have correlated in detail fluctuating metal prices with the metallurgy. They know that many factors such as metal price, dedusiions for returning charge, transportation, percentage of metal in head ore, etc.; all affect the commercial relationship between recovery and grade of product. In practically every mill some one at some ' time has calculated the amount of recovery that can be sacrificed for each percentage increase in grade of concentrate and from this calculated ratio the commercial or ., economic tail has been established. Such a ratio finally becomes a well-entrenched rule by which the progress of the metallurgy is judged.. When once established, these-, ratios are but seldom corrected to changes of metal prices for each possible grade of concentrate that may be produced. The calculation is tedious when often repeated. Other methods have been suggested and used to correlate the commercial with the metallurgical phase. A factor .derived ,by multiplying the grade of concentrate by recovery is often used, but is of little importance because it does not possess a single commercial quantity. The percentage monetary recovery calculated by dividing the gross value of the ore into the net smelter return gives a good economic index and, is to be commended, but it is difficult to correlate exactly and quickly the work of each day on a commercial basis.

During the fiscal year 1935-36, the Ore-Testing Section has been active in carrying out a program designed to attain the objectives that have been set up for it. For the Purpose of standardizing important testing methods, an attempt has been made to develop a rationalized scheme for ore testing, starting with preliminary investigations to determine the physical and chemical properties of the ore, following this with a logical selection and trial of processing tests to find out how the ore may be most effectively treated, and concluding with a discussion of what interpretation may be placed on the results in terms of plant design and operation. A selection of Procedures that appear well-suited to the ore-dressing problems under investigation is included in the following paper of this report so that other experimenters may be enabled to verify our findings and to offer criticisms and suggestions for improving our practice. A tentative scheme for the evaluation of flotation reagents is being investigated, and some progress has been made in a study to determine the significance of small-scale testing. These projects have required 899 analyses. Papers on these and others on ore testing, such as testing for amalgamation and for cyanidation, will be included in future annual reports.

"Fluidised-bed flotation has been demonstrated over the last 16 years as an effective method for improving the flotation recovery of coarse particles. This technology has been successfully deployed into the industrial mineral sector with multiple installations within phosphate beneficiation plants and potash mills. Due to the minimal mineral surface expression required when utilising this technology, more recent studies have centred on the applicability of using this HydroFloat™ technology for the recovery of coarse sulfides and base metals. Multiple approaches have been investigated to determine the best means for implementing this novel coarse particle flotation system into both existing and new plant circuitry. These include the treatment of tailings to recover values that have been lost using conventional technologies and also the direct treatment of a coarse feed, either within the grinding circuit or by use of a separate split-feed flotation approach. Recent applications of the technology will be presented along with data generated from several test campaigns and ongoing research investigations.
