The U.S. Bureau of Mines developed an experimental method to evaluate the relative effectiveness of water additives on the extinguishment of coal fires. The experiments were conducted in the fire zone of the multiple-entry section of the Bureau's Bruceton Experimental Mine. Four-hundred-pound Pittsburgh Seam coalbeds were ignited and allowed to burn until well-developed fires were achieved. Extinguishing agent-water solutions were then applied to the fires, and the quantity required to extinguish the fires was compared with the quantity of water alone required to extinguish similar fires. A 20% diammonium phosphate-water solution required an average of 5.8 gal to extinguish the coal fires, while two commercially available additive-water solutions required an average of 8.1 and 8.0 gal, respectively. The average amount of water required to extinguish the fires was 7.4 gal. An analysis of covariance, using the thermal energy of the coalbed to quantify the fire at the time of extinguishment, showed that the diammonium phosphate-water solution was slightly more effective at extinguishing these coal fires than water alone, and the two commercially available additive-water solutions were statistically equivalent to water alone.

The U.S. Bureau of Mines investigated the magnetic susceptibility of minerals as a function of mag-netic field strength to determine how it might affect the potential for high-field magnetic separation as an alternative to other separation technologies. Single-mineral concentrates were prepared from specimens from the same deposit to compare magnetic susceptibilities of minerals that occur together and from specimens from different deposits to compare magnetic susceptibilities of like minerals. A vibrating-sample magnetometer with a superconducting magnet capable of producing a magnetic field of 7.16 x 106 Aim (90 kOe) was used to measure the magnetic moment of the samples. The data were then converted to specific magnetic susceptibility data and plotted as a function of magnetic field strength. Cursory studies were also completed on the effects of iron content and oxidation roasts on magnetic susceptibility in high fields. The results showed that magnetic susceptibility is essentially constant in magnetic fields above those needed to saturate ferromagnetic constituents. Although magnetic susceptibility is influenced by iron content and by thermal treatment, the changes are not large enough to influence separations in fields above 1.59 x 106 Aim (20 kOe).

The U.S. Bureau of Mines and Cyprus Shoshone Coal Corp. conducted a study of deformation mechanisms around a longwall gate-road system in an underground coal mine. Of particular interest was roof deformation over the headgate entry. The strata above and below the coal seam are very weak, carbonaceous mudstones that have planes of weakness oriented along the bedding. Visual observations of previous gate roads over several years suggested that deformation was time dependent and resulted in creep along joints or crack growth. Instruments were installed at a test site to measure deformation around the entry, strew changes in the pillar, and loads transferred to support systems. Multipoint extensometers, instrumented bolts, instrumented trusses, biaxial stressmeters, borehole pressure cells, and single-point extensometers were installed. Monitoring continued until the longwall face passed the test site by 38.7 m (127 ft). Results show that fracture zones arched over the entry from both ribs, most bolts and trusses were loaded past their yield point, and the largest change in secondary principal stress was almost horizontal in the pillar. Displacement measurements in the roof showed classic primary creep.

A Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory (DUSEL) is being planned at the site of the former Homestake Gold Mine in Lead, SD, under the sponsorship of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) in cooperation with the Department of Energy (DOE). This national facility will host a variety of multidisciplinary science and engineering experiments, including physics experiments that require shielding from cosmogenic radiation. Current plans include construction of large rooms (up to 55 m in width) at depths of 1.48 km (4,850 ft) and 2.25 km (7,400 ft) below the surface. Preparation of the preliminary design required the development of a geotechnical characterization program, including preliminary drilling and coring, core logging, drill hole mapping with a televiewer, drift mapping of the geology and rock structure, in situ stress measurements, and laboratory testing of the mechanical properties of the rocks and discontinuities. Overall rock quality is very good to excellent. Site investigations included geotechnical assessments for the construction of caverns and laboratory modules. The results are favorable and reaffirm selection of the Homestake site for establishment of a Deep Underground Engineering and Science Laboratory.

The U.S. Bureau of Mines investigated the selective electrowinning of Ag and Au from cyanide solutions contaminated with Cu with the goal of decreasing the amount of Cu co-deposited. Decreasing Cu co-deposited will reduce refinery costs. Direct current was applied to the cell in pulsed and square wave voltages at 0.7 A?h per 150 mL of solution. Times tested for each cycle ranged from 1 to 10,000 ms. Graphite, lead, and stainless steel were evaluated as electrode materials. Square wave e1ectrowinning at 70? C gave the best separation of Ag and Au from Cu. Applying 2.5 V during the duty cycle, 0.0 V the rest of the period, a duty cycle of 10 to 30 pct, and a period of 100 ms to 1,000 ms gave the following results: Ag concentrations decreased from 34 µ g/mL to 0.1 µ g/mL, Au concentrations decreased from 54 µ g/mL to 0.2 µ g/mL, and Cu concentrations remained almost constant at 560 µ g/mL.

THIS paper gives observations on ground movement and subsidence resulting from pillar drawing in the Lick Run section of Montour No. 10 mine of the Pittsburgh Coal Co. adjacent to solid coal owned by the U. S. Bureau of Mines at its Experimental mine in Snowden Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The investigation was planned by George S. Rice, chief mining engineer of the Bureau, who arranged the necessary cooperation with Dr. L. E. Young, vice president of the Pittsburgh Coal Co. Engineers of that company placed permanent monuments on the surface to establish the boundaries of the coal owned by the Bureau and to furnish fixed points to which all levels were referred. Engineers of the Experimental mine staff then covered the ground under observation with a checkerwork of monuments made of oak pegs set into the ground at 50-ft. intervals in two directions at right angles to each other. The level of these pegs was determined first from Dec. 16 to 30, 1929; again from May 25 to June 5, 1930, and finally from July 7 to 15, 1931. Observations were then discontinued because work had been stopped temporarily in this part on Montour 10 mine.

ALTHOUGH many persons know that a lot of type metal and etchings are used in the U. S. Government Printing Office few would expect to find anything on metals in the annual report of the Public Printer, George H. Carter. Yet the report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1931, contains many interesting items. For example: Among the 57,500,000 lb. of materials and supplies delivered to the printing office was little new metal, but the metal in circulation is 6,000,000 to 7,000,000 lb. In the cost of production $31,523 is charged against metal, nearly one-third for salaries and wages. In miscellaneous sales were $4,696 from waste metal and $1,147 from waste gold (from books). Electrotype and stereotype covered 11,438,314 sq. in. The vaults and storage rooms contain 1,700,000 plates and 130,000 pages of type containing 4,600,000 lb. of metal valued at $275,000. In what was known as the Congressional Globe vault were 46,000 stereotype plates; these were salvaged by remelting for other platemaking service. The Congressional Record superseded the Congressional Globe in 1873.)

Resin bolting has enjoyed wide acceptance for coal mine roof support. Beginning in 1973, the first year of significant resin bolting in coal mines, we estimate that 2.5MM resin bolts were installed. This grew to 7MM resin bolts in 1974 and 13MM in 1975. Resin bolts are currently being used in over 300 coal mines throughout the major coal producing areas of the U.S. and barring major work stoppage we expect more than 17MM will be installed in 1976. Although not a cure-all, the number of unintentional roof falls occurring in many mines has been dramatically reduced as a result of converting to this "new" method of support. 1 The improved anchorage strength of resin bolts provides better roof support. (Slide #1) This anchorage strength provides a mechanism to resist changing roof stresses along the entire length of the fully grouted resin bolt, thereby assuring stabilization of rock strata over long periods of time. The ability to resist roof displacement is borne out by readings obtained from strain gauged bolts. These findings can be summarized as follows.2

International developments affecting foreign in- vestments in 1960-61 were many, varying from region to region and differing with respect to various categories of investments. Total value of U.S. private investment abroad in 1960 was approximately $32.7 billion, an increase of $2.9 billion over 1959. Production and distribution of mineral resources was, by a sizeable margin, the most important function of American capital working in foreign countries in 1960. Investment in mining or petroleum interests totaled approximately $14 billion, or 42% of all direct foreign investment. In- vestments by industry for 1960 were as follows: Petroleum-10.9 billions, Mining-3.0 billions, Manufacturing-11.2 billions, Utilities-2.5 billions, other-5.1 billions. American investors found Canada and Latin America to be most desirable in 1960 with the greatest percentage of American capital in all areas centered in the petroleum and mining industries. The areal breakdown of total American investments is as follows: Canada-$11.2 billions, Latin America-$8.4 billions, Western Europe-$6.6 billions, Middle East-$1.2 billions, Far East-$1.2 billions, Africa-$.9 billions, other areas-$3.2 billions.

When a major storm system stalled over Western Europe last summer, it pro- duced the deadliest flood on European territory in the last two decades. Beyond record-setting rainfall over countries such as Luxembourg, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands from the storm's "Bernd" low pressure system, more than 230 people were killed in Germany and Belgium. The storm system also caused over an estimated $20 billion (€17.7 billion) of damage. A team from the Geotechnical Extreme Events Reconnaissance (GEER) Association, supported by the National Science Foundation, was mobilized to investigate the potential impacts of the widespread flooding in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Members of the DFI Europe regional chapter closely collaborated with the U.S.-based GEER team and many other engineers and scientists in Europe to collect perishable data and study flooding effects and the event's resulting impacts on geostructures, such as bridges, retaining walls, dikes and embankments. This article features some of the vast information collected by the team, which has recently been published in a comprehensive reconnaissance report and made available for free at geerassociation.org. All data will also be accessible at the NEHRI DesignSafe Cl data repository.

In this year's review, the concept of solution mining has been expanded to include total solution as well as the technology of leaching, or partial solution methods. Leaching methods continue to make strides in the processing of metallic minerals, particularly in copper and uranium production. No quantitative data are available on the increase of leach operations; however, it is known that there were more systems installed in 1969 and that the estimated 15% of U.S. domestic production of copper produced in 1968 was by leach methods.1 While the number of publications appearing during the year were few,2,3 there were special sessions in this field at the AIME Annual Meeting and SME Fall Meeting in 1969 and more scheduled for these meetings in 1970. Significant areas that should be mentioned are: the continuing interest in bacteria to convert sulfide sulfur to acid thus reducing reagent costs in both copper and uranium sulfide ores, the exploration of leaching agents other than common mineral acids or alkaline solutions,4,5 kinetic studies of leach mechanisms and the development of microfractures for increased leach solution penetration by use of chemical or atomic explosives.6,7

Binary and ternary alloys of uranium with transition metals were prepared with U2X stoichiometry. The compounds U2Tc, U2Rh, U2Os, and U2lr were formed by peritectic or peritectoid transformations, and were shown to be isostructural with U2Ru. The lattice constants are presented. Miscibility relationships obtained from the study of ternary alloys are graphically summarized in terms of an area-of-stability plot. The compound U2Re is not isostructural with either U2Ru or U2Mo. A series of compounds with stoichiometry U2X has been prepared in which X is technetium, rhodium, rhenium, osmium, or iridium. The only other U2X compounds, for which X is related to the above transition metals by proximity in the periodic table, are U2Mo and U2Ru. The structure of U2Mo is the tetragonal C11b type (MoSi2 type)1 and U2Ru is monoclinic, with a new structure type.' This investigation was undertaken to determine if any of the above compounds are isostructural with either U2Ru or U2Mo and to find the range of occurrence of these phases. EXPERIMENTAL Alloys were prepared from stoichiometric amounts of electrolytic uranium (99.99 pet pure) and transition metals of 99.5 pet purity (98+ pet pure Tc), by arc melting on a water-cooled copper hearth under an Ar-He atmosphere. Weight losses were negligible. The buttons were homogenized at temperatures between 700o and 800°C (900°C for U2Tc) in evacuated capsules and air-cooled. The X-ray powder specimens were annealed briefly at the temperature of homogenization. Except in the case of the technetium alloy, metallographic examination was used to determine the number of phases present. The radiation hazard involved in handling technetium precluded the use of metallography to examine U2Tc. The temperature and mode of formation of the U2X phases were determined by heating the metallographic specimens to successively higher temperatures, until examination indicated the presence of chilled liquid or a peritectoid transformation. RESULTS The U2X compounds investigated were found to be formed under the following conditions: UzTc unknown U2Ru peritectic 897o ± 3°C U2Rh peritectoid 755o ± 5°C U2Re peritectoid3 below 750°C Uas peritectic4 920°C U2Ir peritectoid 775o ± 5oC Debye-Scherrer patterns for the above U2X phases were made with CuKa radiation (nickel filter). The similarities in the positions and intensities of the strongest lines in the front-reflection region strongly suggested that U2Tc, U2Ru, U2Rh, U2Os, and U21r are isostructural with only minor differences in the unit-cell dimensions. The known lattice constants and intensities of the Debye-Scherrer rings for U2RU2 were used as a guide in order to index the low-angle X-ray reflections of the U2TC, U2Rh, U2Os, and U2Ir powder patterns. Approximate lattice constants for these compounds were thus obtained and were used along with the intensities observed for U2Ru to index the strongest lines in the back-reflection regions. A sin2 2? correction term was included and the lattice constants were refined and standard deviations estimated by least squares. Comparison of observed and calculated values of Q(= 4 sin2?/?2) used in these calculations are given in Table I. In each case when the positions of lines could not be resolved on the films they were not measured. THE area in which spodumene-bearing pegmatites occur extends from Gaffney, S. C., in a northerly direction to Lincolnton, N. C., a distance of about 16 miles. The zone averages 2 miles in width. Interest in this area was first aroused by the discovery of small amounts of cassiterite in the peg-matites and in greissen which occurs on the walls of some of the pegmatites. Attempts were made from 1880 into the 1920's to mine and concentrate cas-siterite, but there were no successful operations. In 1935 L. M. Williams became interested in the area and began prospecting by trenching and sinking several small shafts. He gradually gained control of a considerable acreage south of the city of Kings Mountain, N. C. Mr. Williams states that he produced some ore from a shaft which he shipped to the Maywood Chemical Co. in the late 1930's. In 1937 G. H. Chambers of the Foote Mineral Co. visited the area and examined several properties, but the lithium market was too small to support the necessary concentrating plant. Early in World War II the Solvay Process Co., encouraged by various federal agencies, acquired the Williams properties and leases and started a drilling program to develop reserves for spodumene mining. A study of this area was also made under T. L. Kesler by the U. S. Department of the Interior Geological Survey. Starting in 1942 a concentrating plant, water supply dams, and shops and other buildings were constructed. The Superior Stone Co., a neighboring crushed stone operator, was awarded a contract to mine and crush the pegmatite ore. Late in 1943 the plant started operations, which were continued until February 1946. A drop in demand for lithium chemicals forced it to close and remain closed for several years. In 1948 the Foote Mineral Co. became interested in assuring itself a source of lithium ore on the North American continent, to be used in the production of lithium ore chemicals, and inspected properties in Canada, South Dakota, and North Carolina. The North Carolina deposits were the most promising. In the fall of 1950 the company leased the Solvay interests with option to buy and acquired additional properties. Renovation of the mill and preparation of the quarry for mining was begun in earnest in January 1951. A new crushing plant was built and construction started in July 1951. The flotation process used was developed in the North Carolina State Minerals Research Laboratory located at Asheville, N. C. Foote is now in the process of expanding its production. The crushing plant is being revamped and much of the old milling equipment purchased from Solvay will be replaced by new. Mining equipment of suitable capacity has been received and is in use. The frontispiece is a general view of the mill. The orebodies consist of pegmatite dikes composed of fine-grained albite and quartz, with varying amounts of mica and spodumene. The latter may amount to as much as 50 pct of the rock, but the overall average is about 15 to 20 pct. Tin, columbite-tantalite, beryl, and other valuable minerals are present in varying small amounts. These dikes, which intruded into the Roan Gneiss underlying most of the Piedmont area, strike approximately N 30 E and dip about 85" to the west. "When Dr. Joseph A. Holmes was named the first director of the U.S. Bureau of Mines in 1910, the challenge in front of the mining industry was urgent and profound. Just three years before the Bureau was formed, the United States’ coal industry saw a spike in fatalities, as 3,242 miners lost their lives, including 918 miners killed in 18 major disasters. Holmes, who is often called the Founding Father of Mine Safety, was charged with researching and finding new and safer methods to conduct mining activities as well as more efficient ways to conduct mine rescue to educate miners.The U.S. Bureau of Mines was dissolved in 1996, but the mission of the Holmes Mine Rescue Association remains intact, although the challenges have changed greatly.During the 102 years between its formation and the 2018 Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association & Holmes Mine Rescue Association Annual Meeting and Training Seminar in Denver, CO June 5-7, the mining industry has evolved to become one the safest industries in the United States, with an injury rate on par with school teachers and better than retail workers. The work of Holmes and the Bureau of Mines plotted a course for others to follow, and the fatality rate has plummeted to historic lows. However, those who work in the mining safety and health sector remain diligent to their cause and are slow to celebrate too much the accomplishments of the past century, focusing instead on the work that lies ahead.“The nature of mining accidents has changed and it is very difficult to make changes when you get down to the asymptotic part of the equation,” David Zatezalo, assistant secretary of the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) told Mining Engineering. He was the featured speaker at the Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association annual meeting’s banquet dinner and presented a thorough overview of the mission of MSHA and his goals as its top man.Nominated by President Donald Trump, Zatezalo was sworn in as the ninth assistant secretary for MSHA on Nov. 30, 2017 and brings with him a lifetime of experience in mining. During his presentation, he displayed the chart (Fig. 1) showing the dramatic improvement in safety that the industry has achieved during the past century, but he noted that, as the industry gets closer to its end goal of zero fatalities, it has become increasingly more difficult to cross the finish line."

In 1984 and 1986, at the request of the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Bureau of Mines conducted a mineral appraisal of the 315,000-acre Lemhi Range study area. This area is located in Lemhi and Custer Counties, about 25 mi south of Salmon, Idaho, and is in the Northern Rocky Mountain physiographic province, Topography is generally rugged with elevations ranging from 5,600 ft to about 11,350 ft above sea level. Since the 1880's, approximately 500 mining claims have been located within the study area; about 400 were current at the time of this investigation. Also, part or all of 12 patented mining claims are in the study area. During Bureau field work, forty-four mineralized sites were examined. The sites had been explored by 80 adits, 14 shafts, and about 140 pits and trenches. At least five properties in the study area have had significant production; the adjacent Mohawk, Grace Phelan, and Snowbird claims had a combined total of 136,000 oz of silver and 67,000 lb of lead; production at the Brown Bull was about 14,800 oz of silver and 115,000 lb of lead; the Portland mine yielded an unrecorded amount of silver. The Hilltop mine, located a few hundred feet outside the study area, produced 125,000 oz of silver, 2.7 million lb of lead, 87,000 lb of zinc, and 62,000 lb of copper from mineralized zones that might extend into the study area. More than 10,000 lb of copper were produced at the Blue Jay mine from workings located about 1,000 ft outside the study area. The Bureau of Mines investigation did not reveal the presence of identified resources in the study area. However, several areas contain mineralized sites and are known occurrences. Some of these warrant additional work to further delineate the mineralization and possibly determine identified resources.

Regulatory pressure to mitigate the cement industry’s environmental impact has intensified recently, spurring innovation in low-carbon cement technologies. In the United States, cement production, consumption, and carbon emissions are accelerating. Despite this trend, the adoption of environmentally friendly dry clinker production technology with combined preheater-precalciner systems has surged from 53.3% in 2002 to 88.5% in 2019. Concurrently, reliance on wet technologies, known for their higher environmental impact, has dropped from 16.5% to 0.6% within the same period. This paper presents the results of our comprehensive study, utilizing over 100 years of industry data, to analyze these technological shifts and their environmental implications.

Coal has been mined by hydraulic means in various countries, i.e., the hydraulic excavation as well as the hydraulic transportation of coal has been practiced. The hydraulic breaking (excavating) of the coal dealt with in this report is done with a monitor directing a continuous jet of water against the coal, pressures of the water fed to the monitor range from 1500 to 2500 psi at 1000 to 2100 gallons per minute Transportation of the coal from the face is by fluming if a gradient exists in excess of 2 or, when a favorable gradient does not exist, the coal is pumped from the face by various types of pumps which can also provide a means of hoisting the coal to a higher elevation as required. This report presents: 1.) preliminary design and systems specifications of a demonstration miner (referred to in this report as a hydrominer), 2.) mining configurations showing good promise for typical U.S. thick coal seams in three seam pitch categories, (0° - 7° = Flat, 8° - 250 = Moderately pitching, 26° - 90° = Steeply pitching), along with cost and performance analyses for each system, 3.) a definition of a test program that will provide sufficient engineering data for the design of a water jet cutting head adequate to cut coal in those typical U.S. thick coal seams The cost analysis data showed hydraulic methods to be economically competitive with present thick seam raining methods. It was also obvious from studies of thick seam methods that the hydromonitor coal breaking techniques are more effective in removing most of the coal with its long reach of 60 ft. (or more), is a safer mining system, and produces very low coal-dust content in the air (usually less than 0.25 to 0.5 mg/cubic meter). It is recommended that the USBM sponsor a full fledged continuation of the hydraulic mining program: (a) lab, test, (b) preliminary field test, (c) full scale mine section demonstration.

MINFO has been developed to serve as a frontend for three databases created to store basic minerals information gathered during the minerals resource assessment conducted by U.S. Bureau of Mines(USBM) for the Malheur and Jordan resource areas of southeastern Oregon(MJRA). The primary database is the Minerals Location Inventory (MLI.DBF) which contains of information assembled from field work performed during this project, the USBM Minerals Availability System/Mineral Information Location System(MAS/MILS) database, the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral lndustries(DOGAMT) Mineral Information Location(MILOC) database, and the U.S. (Geological Survey(USGS) Mineral Resource Database System(MRDS), In addition, assay results are contained in the geochemical database (ELEMENTS.DBF) and modified X-ray diffraction analysis information is contained in the minerals database (MINOR.M.DBF). MINFO includes four types of program modules: ? Enter/Edit Data was developed to allow the addition of new information and to encourage correction of errors by providing a convenient means of entering and editing data and a large degree of automatic checking and filtering of entries. ? ACAD/DBF Link links each site symbol posted on the map in the drawing file to a record in the database. This provides the user with the ability to use a mouse or other pointing device to graphically select a site for viewing and editing. Edits are performed directly in the database file, ? AMERICAN investment in foreign mining interests today faces its greatest task. U. S. dollars must make possible the. steady procurement of the minerals our defense effort consumes in huge quantities. The two most vital factors involved in foreign procurement are time and the continued good will of the nations from which minerals are purchased. The Point IV program was formulated to care for the second item, but it has failed to do the job. Its lack of success has not been from intent or from basic failure in formula. Foreign Investment, Four Eras Foreign mineral development, in so far as participation by private capital from the United States is concerned, may be divided into four main chronological categories: First: The period prior to the first World War when people, capital and products moved with relative freedom across international boundaries, and London was the recognized mining seat of the world. By the end of 1919 the United States direct investments abroad amounted to $3.9 billion of which some $900 million were in mining and smelting and $600 million in petroleum. Investment climate throughout most of the world was excellent. Second: The period between the end of World War I, when the international economy had been shaken from its foundations, and the beginning of the great depression of the 1930's, which still further disrupted the world economy. By that time the world mining center had moved across the sea and the United States direct investments abroad had increased to $7.7 billion of which mining and smelting accounted for $1.2 billion and petroleum for $1.1 billion. Investment climate was good in most parts of the world. Third: The period of the depression of the 1930's and the beginning of World War II during which foreign trade was still further disorganized and the international economy collapsed. Nazi barter agreements were initiated in many parts of the world, and Soviet propaganda commenced to make its, influence felt in many countries. During this period United States direct investments abroad decreased to $7.3 billion. Mining and smelting investments during the same period decreased some $200 million, though direct investments in foreign petroleum areas increased an equal amount. Investment climate became less and less hospitable in all parts of the world affected by economic nationalism. Fourth: The period since the beginning of World War II during which total direct investments abroad increased from $7.3 to $13.7 billion. Of this sum, at the beginning of 1950 investment in foreign mining and smelting is reported to have been $1.2 billion-back to where it was in 1929, and in petroleum to have reached $3.7 billion. Investment climate remained favorable in the countries respecting contractual obligations and fair in their treatment of invested capital. [ ] As noted above, the relative freedom of passage across international boundaries by people, capital and products ended with World War I and the situation remains unchanged in a greater part of the world. While this same war upset international economy, the depression of the 1930's caused the collapse of world trade, and exports from all countries fell to an alarmingly low figure. Some countries almost ceased to export. Chile, for example, reported a drop of 88 pct in exports. Countries with
