Copper mineralization occurs at several places along the shore of Notre Dame bay, Newfoundland, and at one time formed the basis of a considerable mining industry. The sources of the mineralizing solutions and the structural settings of some of the deposits have not been clearly understood. This paper reports new investigations into the origin and structure of the deposits between Bett's cove and Stocking harbour, in a strip about ten miles long and two miles wide along the western shore of Notre Dame bay. The most complete previous descriptions of the area are those of Snelgrove (1929, 1931, 1938), Douglas, Williams and Rove (1940), and the writer (1947). The discovery of the Bett's Cove deposits took place about 1860, soon after the discovery of the well-known Tilt Cove deposits to the north. Several other small prospects were found between Bett's cove and Stocking harbour between 1880 and 1910. At Bett's cove, active mining began in 1875 and a small smelting plant was built near the mine in 1877. .Mining operations came to an abrupt halt in 1883 after a major cave-in. In 1900, and again in 1906, attempts were made to drain the old workings and reopen the mine but were abandoned long before completion. Total production amounted to about 130,000 tons of hand-picked copper ore which averaged about ten per cent copper, and 2,450 tons of pyrite (Snelgrove, 1938, pp. 52-55).

Specification and Tests of Rope Wire Chemical Analysis: The range in composition of steel used in the manufacture of wire rope is as follows: Carbon 0 4 to 0.9 per cent Manganese 0 4 to 0.8 Sulphur Not above 0.04 Phosphorus Not above 0.04 The carbon and manganese content are varied according to the gauge of wire to be drawn and the tensile strength required. Generally speaking, best results are obtained from heats where the melt is not of too large a tonnage. The amount of reduction and patenting of the wire is left to the wire maker, who thus has a free hand in meeting the balance of the specification.

"This paper deals with the reconciliation of open stope performance at Olympic Dam, South Australia, with a focus on stope stability, recovery, and operational aspects of stope reconciliation in relation to the expected or planned stope design. The observed stope performance is inconsistent with the equivalent linear overbreak sloughing criteria for assessing the performance of large open stopes. The aim is to investigate new stope performance criteria using quantitative (overbreak, underbreak, maximum depth of wall failure) and qualitative (stope productivity, observed fragmentation) information that correlates with the observed stope behaviour, providing a process for improving future stope designs.RÉSUMÉ Le présent article traite de la réconciliation de la performance des chambres ouvertes à Olympic Dam, Australie du Sud, en ciblant la stabilité des chambres, la récupération et les aspects opérationnels de la réconciliation des chambres par rapport à la conception attendue ou planifiée des chambres. La performance observée des chambres ne concorde pas avec les critères d’épaisseur équivalente du bris hors profil pour évaluer la performance de grandes chambres ouvertes. "Blast fumes are one of the major sources for NOx in underground mines. In 2016, the Occupational Exposure Limits for NOx in Germany were reduced by 90%. The task is to keep re-entry times after blasting at the present level and thereby ensure an economic operation of the mine. Measurements show that using ventilation solely is not sufficient. A new approach to reduce NOx from blast fumes is described. Laboratory experiments were performed and a reduction of NOx was observed. Measurements were conducted at an explosive factory’s testing facility and in an underground mine at blasting operations. INTRODUCTION Whether for production of ore or for drift development, the processes in an underground mine are always the same: 1) fracturing the rock, 2) loading the pile, 3) support the resulting cavity. The fracturing of the rock can be done mechanically, by cutting, for example by using continuous miners or tunnel boring machines, or by drilling and blasting. Drilling and blasting is more flexible than mechanical driving, as it can be used independently of the rock strength. Furthermore, this driving method allows a more flexible reaction to changes in geological and/or operational conditions. Thus, underground mining and blasting are almost inextricably linked with each other, and regardless of the size and level of technology of the mine, blasting is hardly avoidable. Depending on the mining method chosen and the existing framework conditions, such as the mechanical properties of the rock or the availability of machinery, blasting is an integral part of daily operations. Even in mines where blasting is not part of regular operations, it cannot be completely avoided. The blast fumes generated by the explosions are, in addition to diesel engine emissions, one of the two main sources of emissions of nitrous gases underground. Up to now, state of the art for dealing with blast fumes is ventilation. The fumes are diluted with fresh air and ventilated out of the mine. This treatment of blast fumes is more than sufficient with the former German Occupational Exposure Limits (OEL). The adaption of the OEL in Germany to the recommendations of the Committee on Occupational Exposure Limits (SCOEL), a committee of the European Commission, leads to big challenges for the mining industry in reducing the concentrations of these gases at the workplaces underground. On its meeting on May 2nd and 3rd 2016, the Committee on Hazardous Substances (Ausschuss für Gefahrstoffe, AGS), an advisory body of the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), advised the BMAS to copy the OEL, as recommended by the SCOEL, to the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS 900). BMAS followed this advice, consequently the new OEL where published on November 4th 2016 and became part of the TRGS 900. Table 1 shows the former and new OEL for Germany. These new OEL became law after publishing, but two exceptions were made: For tunneling operations, they became law on October 31st 2017, for mining operations they will become law on October 31st 2021 (BAuA, 2004, 2016, 2017)."

A glance at the map discloses the fact that the Pacific Great Eastern railway either traverses or crosses some of the most important rivers of the province: the Squamish with its branches the Stawamus, Mamquam and Cheakamus; and the Green, Lillooet, Birkenhead, Fraser and Quesnel rivers. Each of these and some of their tributary streams, having their ?sources and upper reaches in the higher altitudes in regions of abundant snowfall, is capable in greater or less degree of furnishing water under suitable heads for the economic production of power. Beginning at its present terminus at Squamish the railway has the only hydro-electric development within its territory among the whole list of streams mentioned. A 225 horsepower installation at the edge of the East branch of the Squamish river, using water from Stawamus river, a branch of the former, under a head of 418 feet, is a modest beginning. Two or three additional sites, where water may be used under somewhat similar heads, may be found on this little stream. Next above Squamish, along the route of the railway, is the Mamquam, a long tributary of the Squamish from the eastern slopes. It has a drainage area of something like 130 square miles with widely varying discharges of from less than 50 to about 14,000 cubic feet per second. The preliminary investigations so far have disclosed no suitable storage sites, so the Mamquam may be regarded as a small continuous power stream - probably less than 1000 horsepower.

"This paper outlines some of the factors that affect the airflow required for the ventilation of modern diesel-powered equipment and of electric equipment and examines how they can be applied in determining reasonable ventilation rates for Tier IV compliant diesel equipment and for electric equipment operating in mining environments. Airflow calculations for modern diesel-powered equipment and for electric equipment are more complex and must be based on a combination of factors that are unique to each mine. Methodologies for ventilation rate determinations for each case are proposed in this paper.INTRODUCTIONTraditionally, airflow requirements for production and support equipment operating in underground mines have been determined by multiplying the vehicle power by a ventilation rate that was either mandated by regulations or determined empirically from known quantities. However, in light of the drastic reductions to diesel equipment emissions mandated by the US EPA Tier IV and EURO Stage 4 regulations, there is still a great deal of uncertainty in the underground mining industry among those responsible for the ventilation of planned new mines or the expansion of current mines. The question remains, what ventilation rates should the ventilation system designer apply for modern diesel equipment?Also, given the ongoing development of grid/battery-electric equipment and active construction of fully electric mines, it has become critical to determine adequate airflow rates per brake kilowatt of electric engine power. One of the most important criteria for determining ventilation rates for electric equipment is the amount of heat they generate, as this is the most significant emission produced by electric equipment (which do not produce exhaust gases or particulates). Therefore, ventilation rates required to dissipate heat from electric equipment must be suitably determined for all electric vehicle fleets operating in underground mines."

In this paper the utilisation of building information models (BIM) and construction automation on building sites is discussed. A lot of research has been carried out to develop new applications for using BIM to assist construction site planning, different operations and logistics. The methods of production control and management on site utilize BIM together with machine control and navigation systems. In Finland machine control systems and the automation of construction equipment is widely used in infrastructure construction. Recently similar methods have been introduced also in building construction. This paper describes some latest Finnish examples where BIM-software is used for the planning, execution and control of building construction operations. University of Oulu has studied methods and technologies to capitalize BIM-models. The research has been mainly in infrastructure construction but the activities have recently been extended to building construction. In this paper a BIM-based tower crane operation and control system is discussed as a case study. The aim of this study was to highlight the potential areas were automation can increase the crane productivity and improve site operations and logistics. The construction site managers and tower crane operators interviewed in this study were experienced in using BIM-models on site.

The optimal selection of machine or machine group for building processes is very important role of building planner during the process of building planning. During this process building planner have to analyze several factors influencing the final effective decision concerning this problem. There are several factors and criteria for effective selection of building machines. In our contribution there are analyzed: ability of machines to realize designed building process (quality aspect), duration of mechanized process (time aspect) and minimizing of energy consumption (cost and environmental aspect). Selected scientific methods and theories of problem solution can be divided into these groups: theory of system (creation of building machine selection method), multi-criteria optimizing method (analysis of mechanized building process from the point of more optimal criteria), queuing theory (application during the mathematical modeling of mechanized soil processes), method of scientific analysis (analysis of factors influencing final decisions), method of scientific synthesis (creation of optimizing method implemented into building processes and possible application in construction sector). Multi-criteria optimizing method were during our research work implemented into soil processes and selected building group machines (excavators and trucks), which are very often used in construction and mining processes. This method can be considered as a multi-level decision making process based on multiple parameters. In our contribution is presented key mathematical models for model example solution and software built in Java, which has been created as a support for method described in this contribution. Application of this method and software will increase the effectiveness of building machine selection from the point of key criteria of optimizing: quality, time and energy consumption.

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the value of applying continuous improvement, in particular 5S and standard work, in an underground environment. 5S and standard work are two aspects of Lean manufacturing that have been applied in many industries. At Vale Canada Limited, the focus is to first stabilize the process, commonly through the use of 5S, standard work and other continuous improvement techniques. In parallel with building an engaged workforce, these approaches aim to incrementally stabilize and improve a process. 5S is an employee-driven, systematic methodology to reduce waste in all its forms through attaining, maintaining, and improving workplace organization. Identified as a foundational part of any improvement process, 5S aims to remove wastes that impact on the overall efficiency of the area. Standard work is used to formulate a common approach to how tasks are carried out to ensure consistency. Standardization involves identifying, establishing, and following the best method. The aim is to eliminate the variation that can occur when there is not a pre-defined established standard. Demonstrating the value of 5S and standard work in an underground environment will be achieved by first understanding the overall concept of Operational Excellence and continuous improvement as practiced within our operations. The paper will then cover a real application of 5S and standard work within the underground environment at Thompson, Manitoba.

PART I.-GASES IN INDUSTRY INTRODUCTION THE part played by gases in industry can be considered from at least four distinct viewpoints, viz: (1) As air to support combustion and life and do various kinds of work (2) As fuel, or as essential to certain chemical processes (3) As sources of danger from explosion or fire ( 4) As hazards to man's health The present paper deals with gases only insofar as they are sources of danger, or are hazards to health. It may be noted, however, that, in point of tonnage, air is one of the most important materials handled in any industrial plant. In the operations of the Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company, for example, 138,000 tons of air are handled daily, the only material exceeding this figure being water. The United States Bureau of Mines has listed no fewer than seventy-four gases and vapours that, under certain conditions, may be considered as ex-plosive or dangerous (poisonous). Introduction Between 1903 and 1905, W. Mclnnis, of the Geological Survey of Canada, made a micrometer traverse of the Kawinogans (Crow) river from Kapkichegimaga lake to its junction with the Otoskwin river. He reported that a belt of Keewatin rocks, 1 to 4 miles wide, was exposed along the course of the river for 17 miles east of Kapkichegimaga lake. Prospectors and exploration companies paid little attention to the mineral possibilities of this belt until the summer of 1928 when, with the adoption of airplane transportation, the area became readily accessible. Within a short time widespread interest was aroused by the announcement of attractive finds, and a mild rush followed. During the winter months, hundreds of claims were staked on either side of Crow river for 12 miles east of Pickle lake. In the summer of 1929, much of this ground was systematically explored and a considerable amount of development work was done on the known deposits.

Denison Mines Corp. (“Denison”) has a 90% interest in the Wheeler River Uranium Project (“Wheeler River”) located along the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan between the Key Lake mill and the McArthur River uranium mine. The project is host to the high-grade Phoenix and Gryphon uranium deposits, discovered by Denison in 2008 and 2014 respectively, which include combined Indicated Mineral Resources of 132.1 million pounds U3O8 (1,809,000 tonnes at an average grade of 3.3% U3O8). The Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”), completed in accordance with NI 43-101 in September 2018, is highlighted by the selection of the In-Situ Recovery (“ISR”) mining method for the development of the Phoenix deposit, with an estimated average operating cost of $4.33 (US$3.33) per pound U3O8. Phoenix is the highest-grade undeveloped uranium deposit known globally, including Indicated Mineral Resources of 166,000 tonnes at 19.1% U3O8 for 70.2 million pounds U3O8. The paper aims to provide a summary of Wheeler River and an overview of the proposed development of the Phoenix and Gryphon deposits according to the PFS completed for the Project. Further details regarding the PFS, including additional scientific and technical information are described in greater detail in the NI 43-101 Technical Report titled "Pre-Feasibility Study for the Wheeler River Uranium Project, Saskatchewan, Canada" dated October 30, 2018 with an effective date of September 24, 2018. "IntroductionThis chapter deals with the on land disposal and storage of fine tailing in slurry form behind dams. Other types of tailing, such as coarse dry cobbs from magnetic separation of iron ores and other dry materials, have special problems and are not addressed in this paper. The disposal of mine waste is not included, except as such materials may be of value in the construction activities related to tailing disposal.In earlier North American mining, mines were smaller and frequently disposed of their tailing by direct discharge into neighbouring streams or bodies of water. Where that was not practical or not permitted, the solids were collected in tailing ponds and only the effluent liquids were released or decanted. The dams used for these early impoundments were fragile structures and failures were common. With the advent of large, low-grade open pit mines, and increasing awareness of environmental and safety considerations, recently established mines have carefully-designed tailing disposal systems, with wellconstructed dams and attention given to protection of the environment. Older mines are being improved or at least being examined critically with a view to upgrading as necessary to meet the new standards.Modern tailing disposal systems are highly variable and unique to each mine. Tailing pond selection and design is dependent on available topography as also is the design of transport and water reclaim systems. Suitable sites that are at higher elevations than the mills or distant from them may require that the tailings be pumped. Dams, either earth or rock structures built of the most convenient and economic material, are usually a suitable mix of local borrow, mine waste and coarse tailings. The most economic structures are those built mostly of coarse tailing."

"Abstract - The Meadowbank gold deposits are hosted by a series of polydeformed and metamorphosed auriferous iron formations located in the Neoarchean Woodburn Lake group, western Churchill province, Nunavut. The supracrustal rocks in the Meadowbank area consist of a thick sequence of intermediate-composition volcanic rocks with intercalated iron formation, ultramafic volcanic rocks, and quartzite to quartz arenite. U-Pb geochronology gives an interpreted age of 2711 ± 3 Ma for the host strata at Meadowbank.The intermediate volcanic rocks are predominately volcaniclastic and have a geochemical composition that is consistent with an active continental margin setting. Iron formation deposition was coeval with the intermediate volcanism, as indicated by incorporation of volcanic detritus in the chemical precipitate. The geochemistry of the iron formation indicates that it precipitated from a fluid that at one time was at high temperature (>250°C), reducing, and likely acidic. Intercalated ultramafic rocks rarely show spinifex textures and have trace element ratios that are consistent with mantle plume-related undepleted mantle asthenosphere, likely recording episodic mantle upwelling associated with rifting in an active continental margin. The contact between the ultramafic volcanic rocks and the overlying quartz arenite is a disconformity marked by a quartz pebble conglomerate. However, similar geology on the structural hanging wall and footwall of the contact suggests that the conglomerate does not represent a significant hiatus in deposition, and is more likely a prograding terriginous siliciclastic unit.Three metamorphic events are recognized. The first, M1, is a cryptic greenschist facies event that is pre-D2. The second event, M2, is a mid-greenschist to amphibolite facies, syn-D2 event. M3 is the last event recognized, and is a post-tectonic greenschist facies event that is regional but inhomogeneous in extent, possibly reflecting thermal aureoles around post-tectonic 1.7 to 1.8 Ga Nueltin granites. The structural geology of the area is complex with four phases of deformation recognized, two of which had a significant effect on the geometry of the deposit. All of these regional events are interpreted as Paleoproterozoic in age. Relationships between deformation fabrics and mineralization, as well as the overall geometry of the mineralized envelopes, suggest that the deposit formed during syn- to late-D2. Superimposed on the mineralization are D4 structural elements that postdate gold mineralization.The main control on gold mineralization is replacement of magnetite by pyrrhotite and pyrite in high-strain corridors. The composition of amphiboles and chlorites associated with gold mineralization is remarkably consistent and shows no spatial or temporal variation, suggesting that it was buffered by the iron-rich nature of the host rocks. The bulk metasomatic effect on the intermediate volcanic rocks is characterized by the addition of K2O and the loss of CaO, Na2O, and MgO, with little variation in the total iron content. The elemental losses are likely the result of destruction of feldspars, stilpnomelane, and ferroactinolite, which are relatively common in the unmineralized rocks, and the formation of sericite, chlorite, and grunerite."

Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) have been touted as having the potential to spearhead a nuclear renaissance. Proponents of this view cite the relative advantages of SMRs over larger nuclear plants as reason for their optimism. Some of these merits include potential economies of mass production deriving from modular factory production, enhanced safety features, the ability to locate reactors in remote areas, and reduced requirements for technical workforces to install and maintain SMRs. Despite the optimism surrounding SMRs, nuclear power is still a contentious issue for many Canadians. The growth of nuclear power remains adversely affected by concerns over issues such as: the health and safety consequences of nuclear power generation, environmental impacts, proliferation of nuclear materials, terrorism, and radioactive waste disposal (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), 2010). Personal values, past nuclear accidents, and lack of trust in the industry are other factors influencing attitudes toward nuclear energy (IAEA, 2005). In Canada, three main areas where SMRs could be used have been identified. These include: a. Traditional, on-grid power generation, especially in provinces looking for zero-emissions replacements for CO2-emitting coal plants. B. Remote off grid communities that currently rely on diesel or fuel oil power generation. There are 279 off-grid communities in Canada, many of them being Aboriginal communities (NRCan, ND). Notably, all communities in each of Canada’s three territories qualify as remote. C. Resource extraction sites, such as mining and oil and gas extraction sites. Many of Canada’s principal producing mines and active mineral exploration projects are located within close proximity of Aboriginal communities. Any proposed implementation of small nuclear plants would, require the support of the local population, which is largely Indigenous in the northern regions. The possible deployment of SMRs raises important issue relating to consultation and accommodation of Aboriginal concerns regarding potential SMR deployment. This is especially pertinent given Canada’s pending implementation of the provisions of UNDRIP. One of the provisions of UNDRIP that has attracted a lot of attention is the one on Free Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC). Drawing on previously published information, this paper discusses some of the challenges posed by FPIC for the deployment of SMRs. The next section outlines the provisions of FPIC and its implementation in the Canadian context. Section 3, details some of the challenges posed by FPIC to the deployment of SMRs, while Section 4 provides some concluding comments.

Artificial intelligence techniques are ever more frequently implemented in the modern world. One of their numerous uses is supporting enterprise management. Intelligent techniques and intelligent information technology (IT) systems can be implemented in mining-related issues as well. The author of this article concentrates on supporting the process of planning mining operations by intelligent systems and techniques. The author also underlines the importance of knowledge accumulation in a mining enterprise (especially tacit knowledge) as well as its efficient storing and using. Additionally, the author provides a short description of characteristics of intelligent IT systems and indicates their capabilities in planning mining operations. She presents two solutions, namely: an advisory system which supports the process of planning preliminary works and exploitation works in hard coal mines, and a method of modeling and optimizing mining operations. Finally, the author indicates a few possible future development trends of intelligent systems - the intelligent systems of decision support.

"Potassium (K) is one of the essential elements for the growth of plants and thereby for humans. In fertilizers, potash demand has been steadily increasing at ~3.5% annually. Water soluble potash deposits are rare and highly localized. India is neither present on the world potash production map nor it has adequate potash rich rocks. The K-bearing minerals are recovered either by using conventional underground mining methods or though solution mining methods. India possesses a vast resource of silicate rocks such as glauconitic sandstone and Feldspar. These rocks are basically a group of alumino silicate of potassium, sodium and calcium (K2O%: 5-12, Na2O%: 3-10%, SiO2%: 52-65, Al2O3%: 15-20, Fe2O3%:, 5-7 and MgO%: 2-3.5).The K extraction from silicate rocks has received little attention probably due to the slow release, the locked structure of alumina-silicate minerals, and the unavailability of appropriate economic processes & their know-how. In fact due to this India imports all of its potash demand (about 3.5 million tons per annum) from different countries.In the present work, an attempt has been made to identify the structural and chemical alteration of desired K mineral phase in silicate rock (~K2O%: 10.5, Na2O%: 2%, SiO2%: 55, Al2O3%: 19, Fe2O3%, 5-6, MgO%: 2.5) under different conditions such as acid leaching, thermal treatment and chemical processing. Different treatments are aimed to increase K availability which is related to the modifications in mineralogical composition. The modifications in the feed sample and treated samples are studied through SEM-EDAX, XRD, EPMA and optical microscope. With the combination of treatments, it is possible to extract more than 90% K and the formation of sylvite phase (water soluble) confirms the dissolution of potash values."

If you feel that the study of post-war problems takes our thought away from the problem immediately before us, you may well query, "Well! What has all that to do with winning the war, our most urgent problem today?" The answer has been given by Principal James of McGill University, Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Reconstruction: "Reconstruction is something which must be thought of in advance, partly for the purpose of recognizing exactly the influence of war-time activities, controls, and regulations on the post-war Canadian scene. Many people are acutely interested in this great problem. It is not that they are not interested in the war itself, or epochal events that are taking place from day to day. They have a vision of that future which they hope will be Canada's, and this vision inspires them to even greater efforts at the present time". The trend of events would indicate that changes, economic and industrial, after this war will be greatly out of line with those that followed previous wars in history, for the present struggle has involved every nation in the world. In the peace that will come, every engineer will have a task in bringing the most desirable order out of the most distressing chaos. We certainly are living in a changing world; we are witnessing geo-graphical and economic readjustments that no other generation in world's history has ever witnessed. And there is an opinion gaining strength in our Dominion, as in other lands, that after this war we shall live in a world in which our process of thinking and our very way of life will have to undergo drastic changes to cope with the new order of things. Sadly our world of today has had to revise the sublime vision that nation shall not lift up sword against nation, while salvage operations continue to beat ploughshares into tanks and the peaceful pruning-hook into a weapon for the deviltry of the commando.

"The McClean uranium deposits are located 11 km west northwest of the Rabbit Lake Mine. Their average grade is 1.8 % U3O8 , and they contain 6. 350 tonnes of uranium oxide in seven pods of variable grade and mineral assemblage. They are hosted by both basal Athabasca Group and the regolith developed on the underlying crystalline basement. The major mineral facies are: sulphide, arsenide, 'bleached', and hematite, with the important uranium minerals being coffinite, uraninite and pitchblende. Abundances of carbon and sulphur isotopes are consistent with their derivation from pyritic graphite in basement gneisses. Isotopes of oxygen and hydrogen suggest equilibration at temperatures of about 200°C. Ar39/ Ar40 age determination of illite associated with ore suggest mineralization began about 1300 m.y. ago and that significant alteration had ceased by about 1170 m.y. ago though Pb/ U data suggest the deposits continued to evolve into the Mesozoic.IntroductionThe McClean deposits lie on the eastern side of the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan where they are part of a cluster of uranium deposits lying west of Wollaston Lake (Fig. 1). The general stratigraphy is schematically portrayed in Figure 2 which emphasizes that mineralization is hosted by both the Athabasca Group and the underlying regolith and also that the deposits are preserved at depth and have not suffered from preand post-Pleistocene weathering and erosion. This circumstance, combined with their simple shape and the presence of seven separate zones of mineralization (pods) allows a description, based on over 450 fully cored drill holes, to be made of the wide variation in chemistry, grade, alteration patterns and position relative to the sub-Athabasca Group unconformity. Ar39 / Ar40 age determinations have been made of illites associated with regolith, Athabasca Group and mineralization and studies are in progress on C, S, 0 and H isotopes of mineralized material and host rocks. Only some of these data have been published; Brummer et al., (1981); Golightly et al., (1982); Bray et al., (1982); and Saracoglu et al., (1983). The only other published data on McClean geology are by Tremblay (1982, 1983)."
