Despite this amendment, though, the important successor rules will continue to be relatively complex.IntroductionThe February 18, 1987, Federal Budget papers propose an income tax amendment whereby the so-called ""successor corporation"" rules would be revised by removing the present provision which limits the application of these rules to a maximum of two ""successions"". The successor corporation rules represent one of the most complicated sets of rules in the Income Tax Act. This month, Tax Notes seeks to explain these rules and the proposed amendment in simplified terms.Basically, the successor rules provide a mechanism for transferring unused exploration and development expenses from one taxpayer to another , in specified circumstances. The aforementioned limitation of two successions refers to the rule which allows a maximum of two such transfers with respect to any particular pool of deductions."

In a leach pile, the drainage layer or commonly known as the cover layer has been a matter of discussion due to the multiple phenomena or events that occur within it which impacts negatively the leaching process. All these events are directly related to the loss of draining capacity and irregular flow net due to an excessive compaction and entrapment of fines reducing the flow velocity which in turn cause more fines to get trapped. Over time the problem will continue to worsen rapidly and accelerating continuously like a geometric progression. When the cover layer gets to a certain level of deterioration, the only alternative to continue operating safely is to replace the entire cover material, a huge cost for any mining operation. TESRA has developed a solution to counteract the accelerated advance of the deterioration of the drainage layer. The solution consists of using large agricultural tractors coupled to a proprietary design of a heavy- duty subsoiler-ripper for deep tillage for loosening and breaking up the ground at various depth and with different legs spacing from 0.4 m or above. Also, if the ground still requires additional breaking, TESRA proposes the use of a rototiller that breaks any lumps to homogenize the ground to a certain particle size. With the subsoiler-ripper/rototiller combination equipment a layer of 0.5 m deep is properly treated to match closely the original conditions of the ground thus regaining the flow net as close as to the original seepage condition. Once the ripping is completed the subsoiler-ripper tool is replaced with another that is similar to a plow and thus continue with the installation of drainage pipes. The tool digs a Y-type profile trench allowing the pipe to sit precisely at the bottom of the trench, contributing additional lateral and lower support. This tool controls the installation depth of the drainage pipe at different inclination grades and also eliminating any irregularities that may block the flow of the leaching solution. Sometimes the obstructions block completely the flow of the solution. The main result of this methodology is the reduction of groundwater levels and at least 2% less humidity in the leaching gravel due to an increase in the draining capacity of cover. The methodology developed by TESRA applied during a couple of cycles of a dynamic leach pile has proven to be a real alternative to remedy and recuperate the cover close to its original conditions. The methodology requires only one large tractor and two accessories operated in different stages while replacing the more traditional and less efficient machinery such as the Bulldozer, Motor-grader, and backhoes.

"Experimental and pilot operations in bituminous sand processing require due care and attention in the design and analysis of measurement programs. This paper deals with a case study in experimental design and data analysis for a series of experimental campaigns that have been conducted over the past five years by Kilborn Western Inc., acting on behalf of Bitmin Resources. Beginning with the design of the experiment and following into the use of linear and nonlinear regression models, the phenomenology of bitumen extraction is illustrated. The final testing program tested 13 oil sand types as well as a wide range of process variables for all the unit operations of the complete process.The program was successful in developing process fundamentals and scale-up criteria. Several phenomenological models were proposed and tested. Their range of applicability was explored. This paper illustrates the range of applicability of these models and discusses the development of alternative models.IntroductionOver the past five years Kilborn has conducted a series of bench scale and pilot scale experiments designed to explore the phenomenolgy of a new concept in medium temperature processing of bituminous ores. These experiments at feed rates ranging from .1 to 24 t/h were conducted on water wet sands from the .Athabasca region near Fort McMurray. They were based on experimental designs chosen to provide a systematic means of identifying the response surfaces of the process over a range of conceptual designs. Direct smelting of copper concentrate to blister copper has the advantages of energy saving and environmental protection. There has been a lot of effort invested in process development including test work and theoretic analysis in the past half century. However, the process has only been applied commercially to a few smelters that treat chalcocite types of copper concentrate. The main limitation to treating chalcopyrite types of copper concentrate is high copper content in smelting slag and low direct copper recovery. Thus intensive slag cleaning is needed. In this paper, the thermodynamic analysis was mainly carried out for the multiphase equilibrium of direct to blister copper smelting for both chalcopyrite and chalcocite concentrates. The practical problems in direct to blister copper smelting, which are mainly in copper content in slag, are clarified. The operational window of slag composition for different temperatures and oxygen partial pressure for the treatment of chalcocite type concentrates is identified. The process operation optimization for the blending of chalcocite, pyrite and chalcopyrite concentrates was done. INTRODUCTION The extractive metallurgy of copper can be divided into two broad groups of processes, namely, pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy, and the former is dominant. About 80% of copper in the world is produced by pyrometallurgy (Christopher et al., 2006). The first stage of conventional copper pyrometallurgy processing is to smelt copper concentrate to copper matte composed of FeS and Cu2S with slagging to remove a proportion of the iron (Gargul, Boryczko, & Bukowska, 2017). The smelting processes include bath and flash smelting. The second stage of the process is to convert copper matte to blister copper. In most cases, the copper matte is converted in Peirce Smith (P-S) converters, which are batch operations (Kubiszewski, 2015). The P-S converting can be divided into two periods, slagging and copper blowing. During slagging period, FeS in copper matte is oxidized to FeO, which reacts with silica flux forming slag. When the iron content in matte is less than 1%, copper begins to oxidize and reduce to form blister copper (Kucharski, Sak, Madej, Wędrychowicz, & Mróz, 2013).

The Toyo Smelter and Refinery, owned by Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. (SMM) is located in the coastal zone of Saijo City and Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The refinery has been producing copper, sulfuric acid, and precious metals such as gold, silver, and PGMs. Previously, the process of precious metals recovery was a combination of pyrometallurgy and an electro-refining process with the conventional cupellation for around 400 years. However, this process had some major problems such as non-efficient recovery of valuable metals, high environmental risk by pyrometallurgy, high cost for maintenance of equipment and so on. In order to solve these problems, a thorough hydrometallurgical process for precious metals refining using chlorine leaching technology was originated and developed by Sumitomo and thereafter commercialized in 2004 at Toyo Copper Smelter and Refinery. This new process enabled shorter-term recovery of gold and manpower saving, and occupational safety and working conditions have also been improved. Superiority over the existing hydrometallurgical processes was also confirmed, for example by the achievement of 99.99% pure silver production without an electro-refining process. This paper summarizes the hydrometallurgical technologies for precious metals recovery such as chlorine leaching of copper anode slime for silver recovery, solvent extraction (SX) for gold recovery, and ion exchange (IX) for PGMs recovery. It also presents a unique silver purification process. INTRODUCTION Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. (SMM) produces copper, precious metals and rare metals as by-products at the Toyo Copper Smelter and Refinery, and nickel and cobalt at the Niihama Nickel Refinery. Precious metals contained in nickel ore are also separated and refined at the Toyo Refinery after concentration. SMM has been refining precious metals using the pyrometallurgical method. In recent years, we have revamped the separation and refining process of precious metals dramatically by making use of advanced hydrometallurgical and engineering technology developed in the company. In this paper, we introduce the history of development and techniques of this process, and also introduce in detail the technologies of gold refining, PGMs recovery, selenium recovery, and silver refining which have been particularly difficult to achieve.

"Increased efforts to improve mine safety have led to various successful forms of ground control in Canadian underground mines. At Inca Limited's T-3 Mine in Thompson, Manitoba, a perimeter blasting method has been implemented in jumbo drilled development headings.The technique utilizes an increased number of perimeter blast holes in the drill pattern while decreasing the linear charge density of explosives in any individual perimeter hole. The decrease in perimeter charge density means less blast damage to the surrounding structure.The benefits realized include increased safety through less loose ground and substantially less scaling time, less overbreak and improved long-term drift stability. This paper highlights the development and implementation of the perimeter blasting program.IntroductionThompson Mine Thompson Mine is a 6000 ton per day underground nickel mine located just outside the city of Thompson, 400 miles north of Winnipeg. The mine is serviced by the T-I shaft and by the T-3 shaft. The shafts are 10 000 ft apart and are connected on several levels with the deepest operating levels at T-1 and T-3 being 4000 ft and 2400 ft respectively.The T-3 Mine presently produces 52% of the total Thompson Mine production and 65070 of the 3000 ft of mine development each month. Current development of the 5 million ton 1, C orebody below 2400 level at T-3 will maintain these production and development ratios.Depending on equipment requirements, development headings at T-3 Mine vary in size. The 1, C ramp, at 17 1/2 ft wide by 10 1/2 ft high, is presently the largest development heading at T-3. Fifty- two per cent of the development footage is done with four Gardner Denver two boom electric /hydraulic jumbos and one Gardner Denver one boom electric /hydraulic jumbo. The remaining 48% is driven with hand-held jack-leg drills."

The efficiency of water use is a top priority for the global minerals industry, especially in regions with limited freshwater supplies. In these areas, the freshwater shortage has prompted mining companies to search for alternatives to freshwater sources. Seawater has been proven to be a potential water source for mineral beneficiation and metal extraction processes. This study compares chalcocite leaching behavior with ferric chloride to that with cupric chloride. We carried out leaching tests with a highly pure chalcocite sample in jacketed reactors under fully controlled pH and solution potential. The effect of chloride concentration, oxidant concentration, and temperature on copper extraction was quantified in both cupric and ferric chloride systems. In the ferric chloride system, increasing ferric concentration showed a positive effect on the first stage of chalcocite leaching. In the second stage, increasing temperature markedly enhanced copper extraction. In the cupric chloride system, chloride concentration presented a considerable effect on both the first and second stages of leaching, while temperature had a remarkable effect only on the second stage. The findings of this study would be beneficial to mine operations aiming to replace fresh water with seawater for heap leaching of chalcocite. INTRODUCTION Mineral processing operations/plants are normally operated adjacent to mines which are often located in remote and arid area, such as northern Chile, southern Peru and Australia with limited access to fresh water (Liu, Moran, & Vink, 2011, 2013). Water scarcity in these areas has prompted mining companies to invest in sustainable technologies to reduce the water use and/or increase the water use efficiency. One of the current sustainable approaches in mineral processing operations is to replace fresh water with seawater. Seawater is now being increasingly used for mineral beneficiation and metal extraction processes (Hernández et al., 2015). Another application of seawater could be for heap leaching of copper secondary sulfides, mainly chalcocite. However, the high concentration of chloride ion in seawater may significantly affect leaching kinetics of copper sulfide concentrates and ores (Watling et al., 2014). Therefore, it is essential to develop a fundamental understanding of the leaching of chalcocite in chloride media.

Mining companies around the globe have long struggled with the need to ensure that earth moving equipment is designed to be operated and maintained under all site conditions without causing harm to people. Incident and accident data from a range of sources clearly identify mining equipment related issues as major causal factors. One Australian source, the NSW Department of Primary Industries? International Mining Fatality Database Project Report (2008) noted that ?Approximately 77% of mining accidents resulting in a fatality have? involved equipment?. The largest number of fatalities were associated with trucks; the next with LHDs. Many of the technical advances in equipment design over the past few decades have not been matched by advances in the human factors design of mining equipment, resulting in a ?design vacuum? that must be filled prior to commissioning new equipment. This ?design vacuum? is generally filled by local dealers. They retrofit equipment according to customer requirements to mitigate risks that have not been designed out by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Mining companies have been frustrated by lost time and additional costs associated with this need to retrofit ex-factory designs. Some companies have attempted to address the problem by negotiating company or site-wide ?solutions? to equipment designs, but this has not simplified or clarified the issue from the point of view of the equipment manufacturers. A number of mining companies operating in Australia first discussed the concept of a joint customer approach to improve the Human Factors design of earth moving equipment at the factory level in 2004. They agreed that a new approach to engaging with OEMs was needed; one that would define the ?Problem?, in other words, the basis of the risks, rather than dictate the ?Solution?. The Earth Moving Equipment Safety Round Table (EMESRT) was formally established in 2006 by six global mining companies to establish a process of engagement between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and mining customers.

Heap leaching accounts for around 20% of the global production of copper. In heap leaching coarsely crushed ore particles are contacted with an aqueous lixiviant percolating through large packed beds (heaps) of the ore particles, with the loaded solution collected at the foot of the heap for metal recovery, solution make-up and recycle. While dominant for copper oxide acid leaching, it finds application also in copper sulphide (bio) leaching. Despite their apparent simplicity, heaps are in fact complex chemical reactors in which a number of competing sub-processes determine the overall rate of metal extraction. Therefore, meaningful prediction of copper production rates from heaps, as well as operational optimisation and control, all hinge on a comprehensive and quantitative understanding of these complexities. The paper gives a comprehensive overview of the various sub-processes in copper heap leaching and their interactions, including those relating to mineral-particle-solution-gas phase interactions at the micro-scale bulk transport and distribution of solution in unsaturated dense beds at the macro-scale. On the basis of a more fundamental understanding and modelling, the potential for optimized operation offers new opportunities for the extraction of value from both low-grade and complex polymetallic ores. INTRODUCTION Heap leaching is one of the percolation leaching technologies, which includes in situ leaching, dump leaching, heap leaching and vat leaching (Bartlett, 1998). The common phenomenon in all these technologies is the transport of leach solution through a fixed bed of ore particles, which interacts with the solid as it migrates along its path. The target minerals are released into solution and with its flow are carried out of the bed. The targeted dissolved metal species are recovered from solution through various hydrometallurgical techniques, especially solvent extraction (SX), before the barren solution is returned to the leach process. Heap leaching is practised in three main types of applications: sulphuric acid leaching of copper oxide ores, cyanide leaching of gold ores as well as the oxidative acid leaching of secondary copper sulphide ores, usually with the assistance of certain microorganisms and, more recently, in the presence of chlorides (CaCl2, sea water). While gold heap leaching dates back to the 1960s, large scale copper heap leaching commenced in Chile from the 1980s, and sulphide heap leaching emerged essentially as a consequence of acid leaching from mixed oxide/sulphide ores from the 1990s (Watling, 2006).

Modern surface mines are among the world's largest single consumers of diesel fuel. A typical mine site can consume in excess of 200 million liters of diesel fuel per year. Delivered diesel fuel is not necessarily clean. Depending on the mode of transportation, handling practices and local climate, incoming bulk fuel can contain up to 20 mg/L suspended solid contaminants and also significant quantities of free water, which can amount to substantial quantities ? for a typical mine site 200 to 400 kg of dirt per year. Standard on-board fuel filters are not designed to handle high levels of contamination, and most engine manufacturers have specific fuel cleanliness requirements to ensure reliable engine operation. New developments in fuel injector technology, such as high pressure, common rail injectors require even cleaner fuel. In order to ensure reliable operation, it is therefore recommended to control particulate contamination throughout the entire Diesel supply chain - from the bulk storage on mine sites to the injection systems on-board through the use of particulate filtration and liquid coalescence technologies. In this work, the author introduces a comprehensive approach to contamination control for the entire fuel supply chain, and discusses the benefits of using advanced filtration and separation technologies, with a particular focus on the requirements of modern high pressure, common rail (HPCR) fuel injection systems.

"The Young-Davidson mine is in the southeastern part of Powell township, in the district of Matachewan. It is 32 miles southwest of Kirkland Lake, 48 miles southeast of Timmins, and 25 miles by road Northwest of Elk Lake. The Young-Davidson and its neighbour, the Matachewan Consolidated mine, are the two present producing properties in the district. The Matachewan area is the southwestern extension of the Kirkland Lake belt or 'break'. The Young-Davidson mine since coming into production in 1934 has been operated by Hollinger Consolidated Gold Mines, Limited. ""Desultory prospecting(1) has been carried on in the Matachewan area from time to time since the discovery in 1906 of silver in James township at Elk Lake, and some gold has been found in the southeastern part of Alma township and in the central part of Cairo township. The first real interest in the area, however, was started by Jake Davidson's discovery in 1916 of gold on Davidson creek, on what is now part of the Young-Davidson property, and by Sam Otisse's discovery shortly afterwards on claims a short distance to the east, now part of the Matachewan Consolidated property. In subsequent years both of these properties were investigated by various companies; the Young-Davidson chiefly by the Porcupine Gold fields Development and Finance Company, Limited, and the Matachewan Canadian by the Colorado-Ontario Development Company, Limited, which in 1919 was reorganized under the name of Matachewan Gold Mines, Limited. Work was discontinued as the ore was considered too low in grade to be mined"". However, in 1933 Hollinger Consolidated Gold Mines, Limited, undertook to bring the property into production and this became a reality in 1934.The total production to the end of year 1945 was 319,185.59 oz. gold and 73,541.94 oz. silver from 3,228,845 tons of ore. This represents an average grade of $3.67, including exchange and premiums."

Chalcopyrite leaching in acidic ferric sulfate media at ambient temperature exhibits slow kinetics and poor leaching efficiency, which is typically attributed to surface passivation. Recently, the presence of small amounts of iodide in the leaching media has been reported to significantly accelerate chalcopyrite dissolution. To further explore the behavior of chalcopyrite leaching in the presence of iodide, it is essential to determine the factors that control the leaching kinetics. In this study, we investigated the effect of initial solution potential, iodide concentration, particle size, and temperature on the kinetics of copper extraction from chalcopyrite. The key in the experimental setup was to minimize iodide loss by iodine evaporation and precipitation as cuprous iodide. The former was achieved by performing the leaching tests in fully sealed leaching systems. The latter was achieved by maintaining the solution potential higher than 420 mV (versus Ag/AgCl electrode), where formation of CuI precipitate is possible. The experimental results show that higher solution potential and higher iodide concentration had a pronounced positive effect on the rate of chalcopyrite dissolution. There was no effect associated with particle size, which might be due to the narrow size range tested. The positive effect of increasing temperature only manifested itself when the solution potential was sufficiently high. INTRODUCTION The main challenge of chalcopyrite leaching using ferric ions as the oxidant at ambient temperature is the slow kinetics and poor extraction. The reason for this leaching behavior has been attributed to passivation resulting from formation of insoluble passivating layers on chalcopyrite surfaces, which could be metal-deficient sulfides, elemental sulfur, polysulfides, and iron precipitates (Klauber, 2008). To overcome passivation, technologies using higher temperature and pressure have been developed to leach chalcopyrite concentrates, such as the CESL process (Mayhew, McCoy, Mean, & Woeller, 2013), FLSmidth Rapid Oxidative Leach (ROL) process (Mulligan et al., 2017), Galvanox (Dixon, Mayne, & Baxter, 2008), Albion process (Hourn, Turner, & Hourn, 2012), HydroCopper (Hyvärinen & Hämäläinen, 2005), TPOX (Dreisinger, 2006), and AAC/UBC process (Dreisinger, Dempsey, Steyl, Sole, & Gnoinski, 2003). Even though they are effective in accelerating copper leaching kinetics, those technologies typically have higher capital and operating costs associated with production of concentrates and application of autoclaves. This makes them unsuitable for treating low grade primary copper sulfide ores.

This paper will discuss several of the systems and processes that have been developed over the past few years, and are now being utilized by major mining companies on draglines in North America, Australia and South Africa. These technologies include production monitors and reporting systems, GPS navigation systems, structural integrity monitoring systems, structural analysis studies to increase the dragline RSLs, and inspection and response strategies. The use of these technologies provides significant increases in dragline production, and reduces maintenance costs and downtime. The question that needs to be asked is what value is there in monitoring? Increasing dragline productivity is dependent upon to two items with the overall goal being to maximize the number of bank cubic meters moved and to uncover more coal: 1) maximizing payload and 2) maximizing the number of cycles. If you do not measure and try to optimize the parameters that impact payload and number of cycles, there is very little chance that you can improve overall dragline productivity. These parameters are: Maximizing payload is dependent upon the following: ? Geology ? Blasting ? Monitor weighing accuracy ? Engage location ? Disengage Location ? Rigging ? Suspended load ? Abstract Many investigators have been interested in developing some non-destructive method for detecting or determining the changes in physical properties in steel occurring during endurance tests or normal service life of a part which fails in fatigue. This paper presents a broad discussion of some of this work and the possibilities of developing useful test procedures based on some of the information obtained in the past. Changes in magnetic properties, electrical resistance, damping capacity, X-ray diffraction patterns, and remaining fatigue life at load different from service load have all been investigated as possible means for following the sequence of events during fatigue failure. In some special instances, tests such as these may be used to predict fatigue failure. As an in stance of practical application of the continuous determination of changes in magnetic properties during fatigue, a brief account is given of work done in non-destructive inspection of mine hoist-rope. As a result of extensive experiments and field crisis, it has been found possible to detect the beginnings of failure in a wire rope in service. The test method used will detect plastic deformation in a wire rope, no matter what its cause. There is no possibility of determining the remaining useful life of a rope by calibrating changes in magnetic properties in terms of remaining fatigue life. A change in magnetic properties at a point in a rope may indicate a decrease or increase in fatigue life, depending on the overload history of the rope. A continuing change in magnetic properties ac a point, however, does reliably indicate a developing weak point which will eventually lead to failure. The important point about any change in magnetic properties is not the magnitude of the change, but whether or not it continues.

In a flash smelting furnace, easily combustible concentrate particles excessively oxidized and melt. The excessively oxidized molten particles then collide with less oxidized solid ones to create uniform oxidized molten particles. This collision phenomenon plays a very important role in achieving high smelting performance. The authors developed a mathematical model describing above combustion phenomena. This model incorporated fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, chemical reactions and collisions of concentrate particles. Both gas flow and particle motion were calculated using the Eulerian method. Copper concentrate was assumed to consist of chalcopyrite(CuFeS2). Considered in the concentrate reactions were the decomposition of CuFeS2, and the oxidation of the resulting sulfur(S) and pyrrhotite(FeS) to produce magnetite(Fe30 4) and sulfur dioxide(S02). Moreover a reaction due to concentrate particle collisions, in which Fe304 in the excessively oxidized molten particle reacts with FeS in the less oxidized particle, was also considered. The particle collisions were assumed to occur according to a collision probability rule obtained by computational experiments. Particle growth in diameter was described as a change in the volume fractions of particle phases. When applied to a commercial flash smelting furnace, this model reproduced the particle growth and component transfer as observed in the actual furnace.

In this paper we follow various technological discoveries and developments in the purification of minerals and metals in the mining industry by ion exchange. For approximately 100 years, ion exchange has been a known and variously applied purification and separation technology used by scientists and producers. It would seem obvious that the producer’s objectives have always been to achieve the highest quality products and the lowest operation costs, but also with the least amount of technological complexity. As a strategy to reach these goals, much effort has been expended in the quest to improve continuous ion exchange (CIX) systems by reducing utility needs and resin degradation or loss while at the same time improving productivity and reliability. Recent developments from a number of companies have pushed equipment boundaries, resulting in a variety of unique commercial equipment designs each with a varying degree of success. The challenge set forth for all new designs has been a truly continuous process with no sacrifice in the afore mentioned benefits. One very recent equipment design based on system symmetry appears to meet many of these objectives with greater flexibility and less complexity resulting in better economics for the producer.

This paper presents a three-tier web-based GIS application that uses Java Server Page (JSP), Java Servlet and relational database to manage performance monitoring and reporting in the oil sands mining industry. It is a real-time Earth Structure Performance Monitoring System (ESPMS), which allows the user to record and store instrumentation monitoring readings as well as technical observations and instrumentation installation documentations into a complete relational database. The ESPMS introduces the advantages of precise field record keeping, due diligence, security, consistency and completeness while at the same time simplifying the task of reporting. ESPMS combines web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping and data management to facilitate the collection, organization, retrieval, reporting and communication of the vast amounts of monitoring data related to mining and tailings engineering associated with site investigation and construction information. ESPMS utilizes web-based GIS technology to incorporate referenced aerial photographs, Energy, Mines and Resources (EMR) maps or AutoCAD drawings as a base map for the monitoring site. It dynamically creates and administers all instrumentation monitoring locations and reading frequencies. It enables the user to collect and manage the data associated with an unlimited number of reading events. It provides the designer with real-time monitoring data (what, why, when, how), thereby allowing them to make early adjustments to design protocols or procedures, or to take remedial action(s) regarding the subject earth structure under construction or after completion. It provides more cost-effective reporting and data sharing through the Internet. It improves security on data entry and eliminates unauthorized data changes. It allows better integration of graphics and illustrations with numerical data files. It is capable of managing the continually expanding workload resulting from new and larger structures in the oil sands or other mineral mining industries. The ESPMS facilitates easier data gathering for preparation of as-built and after-built or regulatory reports, etc. It enables quick location of the interested instruments and summarization of the performance of the instruments. It enables one to visualize performance data and QA/QC construction test results spatially on any given cross-section. Data can be exported to MS Excel for detailed analysis and to evaluate the stability of the earth structures.
