"Gravity separation by centrifugal equipment, particularly in the mineral processing industry is a novel approach of optimising product recovery. The manufacture and sale of centrifugal equipment by recently established companies is now beginning to have a significant impact on the industry. Some benefits of operating at increased gravity include: reduced environmental issues, a shorter lead time, lower capital cost and improved recoveries of elemental mineral before entering the grinding circuit.Of topical discussion is the use of centrifugal separators for the recovery of less valuable minerals that will form a greater proportion of the feed compared to traditional scalping circuits where the gold content is extremely low. This ultimately results in the centrifugal system having to have a greater mass pull. In addition, the relative density difference between gangue and valuable mineral is likely to be less and therefore modelling and optimisation of this separation process will be necessary. Some researchers have muted using fluidisation models to model the forces present in the separation zone of a centrifugal separator2. It is not unusual for the manufactures of centrifugal separation equipment to use fluidisation terminology to describe what happens in the separation zone. Most fluidisation models are based on the empirical/classic relationship between superficial fluid velocity and voidage postulated by Richardson and Zaki. However, no researcher has proved the effectiveness of this relationship in an increased gravity Environment."

Granite ores are composed of silicate minerals and a variety of valuable REE (rare earth elements)-bearing minerals, however the processing technique to recover these valuable minerals is not yet developed. In this study, the recovery of REE-bearing minerals by dry magnetic separation and wet high intensity magnetic separation (WHIMS)-settling from surface sample and from drill core sample, respectively, of a granitic REE-Zr-Nb ore deposit was investigated. The two samples have different mineralogy however in both samples, light REE are commonly contained in REE carbonate minerals while Y and heavy REE are commonly contained in zirconium silicate minerals and pyrochlore. The liberation size of the REE-bearing minerals in the two samples ranges from 10-250 ?m. Previous flotation testwork conducted on the drill core sample reported high recoveries of La2O3 (88%) and Ce2O3 (88%) but low recoveries of Y2O3 (42%), ZrO2 (17%), and Nb2O5 (29%). The objective of this study was to obtain higher recoveries of Y2O3, ZrO2, and Nb2O5 by dry magnetic separation and WHIMS-settling. Both processes implemented the application of a low magnetic intensity to initially separate the ferromagnetic minerals then a high magnetic intensity to recover the REE-bearing minerals. The results showed higher recoveries of Y2O3, ZrO2, and Nb2O5 by dry magnetic separation and WHIMS-settling indicating the potential of magnetic separation and gravity separation in recovering the heavy REE-bearing minerals. WHIMS-settling is more recommendable than dry magnetic separation because of its applicability in treating a wider range of particle size. In the WHIMS-settling, the light REE, Y, and Zr minerals were recovered mainly by applying four stages at high magnetic intensity of 21,500 gauss while the weakly magnetic pyrochlore was recovered mainly by decantation of the nonmagnetic slurry after a short settling time of 0.25 to 0.50 h. A close association of fine gold with pyrite and arsenopyrite is observed at many gold ore deposits. Gold forms and gold distribution in sulfides of different deposits were studied. A comprehensive method including optical spectrum analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, high-temperature X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray microanalysis was used for the de-tailed investigation of the defectiveness of the structure of pyrites from different deposits. It was shown that gold content in pyrites varied from 1.5 g/t to 100 g/t compared with 30 g/t to 230 g/t in arsenopyrites. The nature and arrangement of inner inclusions of foreign minerals in pyrites as well as occurrence of fractures and macro- and microdefects were examined. Iron, sulfur and arsenic contents in all pyrite samples were determined. Chemical composition of the detected inclusions was defined. Parameters of submicroscopic structure of pyrite were estimated using X-ray Fourier line shape analysis. Estimation of real structure characteristics with calculation of submicroscopic D-blocks and root-mean-square lattice deformation 2()evalues was performed. Defectiveness of the pyrite structure can be defined by the following parameters: K?1 and K?2 reflection resolution and its intensity within high Bragg angles; S content to Fe content ratio; the arsenic content and the local variation in its concentration within the pyrite grain; the size of submicroscopic blocks and the crystal lattice disturbance value. The performed analysis showed some relationships between these parameters and refractoriness of the pyrite concentrates. It was observed that at S/Fe ratio close to or higher than stoichiometry and at a low arsenic content (less than one per cent) pyrite concentrates were not refractory. The analysis results showed that concentrates of the Beryozovskaya gold plant (0.02~0.07 As%) and concentrates of the Kommunarovskaya gold plant (less than 0.05 As%) as well as some pyrites from the Sukhoi Log gold deposit had the same characteristics. It was found that average arsenic content did not excess 0.2 per cent. Arsenic distribution within the grain of all these pyrites was uniform. At S/Fe ratio lower than or close to stoichiometry and at high arsenic content (more than one per cent) and significant variation in its distribution within a pyrite grain the pyrite concentrates are refractory. Such pyrites are typical for the Sukhoi Log, the Bakyrchik and the Mardzhanbulak gold deposits. Direct correlation between arsenic and gold contents, in particular, in fine grains of pyrite was observed by many researches. This correlation was explained by impregnation of arsenopyrite which normally contains more gold than arsenic pyrites. The analyses results showed that no arsenopyrite impregnation was found: arsenic distribution within the grain was uniform but its concentration varied greatly. Such pyrite concentrates are more refractory. This paper presents the results of analyses of sulfides to determine the amenability of the associated gold recovery by hydro- and pyrometallurgy.

"The triboelectric charge attributes of feldspar, quartz and wollastonite minerals, after contacting different triboecharging medium made of different materials, were considered. Their charge acquisitions by different size fractions of minerals were monitored and accordingly their energetic work function values were estimated. Moreover the separation behaviours of these minerals through the electric field of a laboratory free falling separator were determined and the effects of some chemical reagents on separation their separation characteristics were studied.Finally an attempt was made to translate the findings from single mineral systems to a complex silicate ore, containing quartz, feldspars, wollastonite and some other silicates. The results show favourable prospect to apply the triboelectric separation technique for beneficiation such a complex raw material."

Principles of ecologically friendly geo-technologies construction are formulated on the basis of the works of the leading scientists in the field of rational processing of mineral resources of the Russian Academy of Sciences. One of these concepts is a new direction in rotational disintegration of mineral and technogenic raw material with the purpose of effective subsequent enrichment. A large amount of practical experience has been accumulated in the industry on selective destruction by application of vibrational method on initial material with consideration of its physical-mechanical properties and mineral structure. This method is successfully realised in a conic inertial pulverisation devices constructed by Mekhanobr Institute (St.-Petersburg). A new construction of conical-inertial pulverisation with a modification of disintegration force has been developed recently at Mekhanobr Institute. It allows, in some cases, to increase selectivity of subdivision and to avoid over-disintegration. Advantages of “wet” subdivision methods in conic inertial disintegration devices are proved. The efficiency of such subdivision can be increased due to rational use of the phenomenon of a dislocation-dynamic diffusion. Its advantage is proved by the effect on disintegrated material by frequency-modulated variable electrical fields of low power. It was shown in industrial conditions, that the productivity of the spherical mill can be increased by 10 %, and that it also prevents ecologically harmful surface active substances (SAS) in milling zone and it reduces the dust content in the air. The techniques of tentative estimation of efficiency of various proceedings technogenic materials and their classification are created. The scientific fundaments of rational, ecologically friendly technology of processing and regeneration of various kinds of technogenic raw material are developed. A number of effective technologies on processing of wastes is developed and inculcated in concentration factories and metallurgical factories.

"It is difficult separating fluorite from Ca, Ba, Si intergrowth minerals than simple from Si, using common reagents such as combination of oleic acid or paraffin soap and water glass, but the finest quality fluorite concentrate whose grade is over 96%F must be required in chemical plant.This paper studies the flotation process of native fluorite from calcite, barite and silicate minerals whose flotation properties is similar to fluorite, using new effective collector H602 and new depressor S602 that is cheaper in cost, and describes the flotation properties. In order to determine optimum flotation separation condition, the effect of pulp pH, pulp temperature, pulp density and the effect of dosage of reagents on flotation were investigated and the flotation result was provided by oleic acid collector and the results of collector H602 were compared with those of collector oleic acid in the test. The test result of ore samples shows that at moderate pulp pH values (10.5-11.5) and other moderate technical conditions, the fluorite mineral can be obtained by new reagents and the rational reagents combination. The conclusion is 98%F of fluorite concentrate can be obtained, using the combination of H602 and S602 and only 5 steps in techniques. The paper discusses the mechanism of the flotation separation of fluorite mineral from intergrowth minerals."

The particles commonly encountered in mineral benefication schemes have irregularites that are expressed at many different length scales. In part, this originates from preceding processes (e.g. makedown, comminution, handling and storage), which are known to chemically and physically modify the bulk particle and its surface. Interparticle tribology, dissolution and reprecipitation events along with large-scale mechanical stresses are just a handful of the interactions encountered during processing of particles prior to separation. It is feasible to imagine that each one of these events may impose a fingerprint of characteristic nanoscale, microscale, and macroscale morphological changes that can modify the overall interaction of these particles within a system. Suprisingly there are just a few works on how these resulting features can alter the performance of benefication schemes, and especially flotation.

"The investigation is dedicated to study of biohydrometallurgical processing of refractory gold-arsenic concentrate with the large content of pyrrhotite. Sulfide concentrate of chemical constituents: 75g/t Au, 4,7g/t Ag, 6,3% As, 29,3% S, 2,3% Sb, 0,5% ? (organic) and of mineral composition, %: 11,8 arsenopyrite, 39 pyrrhotite, 12 pyrite, 2,9 antimonite and the rest – aluminosilicates, carbonates and quartz, was studied. The recovery of gold from concentrate by cyanidation is 51,2%. The rest of gold is embedded as finegraded segregation in sulfides.Sulfide oxidation process study is described. Bacterial oxidation was executed on a pilot laboratory unit using combined autotrophic bacterium: A. thiooxidans , A. ferrooxidans, Leptospirillum ferrooxidans and sulfobacillus thermosulfidooxidation, pH=1,5-2,2, t=28-32?C, oxidation time 120 hours. Pyrrhotite is the least stable sulfide mineral with electrode potential 0,45V versus arsenopyrite (0,55 V) and pyrite (0,55-0,6 V) and is oxidated primarily. Pyrrhotite oxidation is followed by large amount of elemental sulphur, which has a bad influence on cyanidation.It’s established that the rate of arsenopyrite (for the first 48 hours) from concentrate containing 39% pyrrhotite is 2-3 times as less as the rate of arsenopyrite bio-oxidation from concentrate without pyrrhotite. The arsenopyrite bio-oxidation is accelerated only after the elemental sulfur was oxidized by bacterium A. thiooxidans and elemental sulfur percentage was reduced from 6,8 to 3,9%. The bacterium concentration is increased from 2,5x107 to 2,5x109 cells/ml. Almost full oxidation of arsenopyrite (98%) and pyrrhotite (98- 99%) is finished in 120 hours. We have studied two pretreatment methods for elimination sulfur content influence on cyanidation: aeration in lime and electrochemical treatment. Such an operation enables to have supplemental oxidation of elemental sulfur and other oxygen and cyanide absorbants before cyanidation. After treatment the content of elemental sulfur was decreased from 3,9 to 2,2%, gold recovery from 90 to 96% and cyanide consumption from 16,2 to 7,2 kg/t decreases. The content of toxical rhodonite-ions in liquid phase of pulp and disinfection reagents consumption were decreased as result of elemental sulfur content in bio-oxidated product reduction."

"The major losses of PGM and base metals in the beneficiation of platinum group deposits occur during the separation of gangue from the value minerals by selective flotation. A number of studies have shown that this negative impact on flotation is due to surface passivation, caused by various ions that may originate from the external water supply or, as is likely in the majority of cases, from the oxidation of the mineral surfaces and the grinding media. The objective of the study was to investigate the effect surface passivation and inadvertent activation have on flotation and how this can be managed so as to increase the separation of pentlandite and pyroxene. The aim was to minimise the percentage pyroxene reporting to the concentrate and simultaneously maximise the pentlandite recovery. The testwork incorporates the addition of an activator (copper sulphate), a complexing agent, such as DETA (diethylenetriamine) and a dispersant (polyphosphate) at pH 6 and pH 9 in an attempt to alleviate the surface passivation of pentlandite and inadvertent activation of pyroxene. Both synthetic minerals and plant ores were studied in order to determine the effect surface passivation and inadvertent activation have on mineral surface alteration and floatability. Zeta potential determinations, microflotation, ToF-SIMS (Time of Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry) analyses, laboratory batch flotation tests and continuous flotation testwork were used as tools to study the surface alteration and/or floatability.Zeta potential determinations and ToF-SIMS analyses showed that copper adsorption is non-selective. Both pentlandite and pyroxene become copper (II)-activated in the presence of copper sulphate and subsequently, in the presence of xanthate, adsorption of the collector will occur onto copper activated mineral surfaces. Zeta potential determinations also showed an alteration of the surface charge in the presence of polyphosphate, thereby inhibiting surface passivation of sulphides by slime coatings due to surface repulsion."

"Pressure leaching of chalcopyrite and nickeliferrous pyrrotite at temperatures between 105 and 200 ºC has been proposed as a potentially viable route for the extraction of mineral elements from sulphide concentrates. In general, these concentrates contain iron, and the economic success of the processes is partially dependent on the choice of the environmentally acceptable iron-removal technique. One of the most widely used methods for the removal of iron from sulphate liquors is precipitation as hematite, goethite, or jarosite. The nature of the iron precipitate formed, dictates downstream dewatering and residue treatment and disposal options. However, a better understanding of iron precipitation under the defined process conditions would consequently be of benefit in process design and optimization.This study investigated the precipitation of iron in the autoclave at temperatures between 105 and 200 ºC. The effects of temperature, acid concentration, iron concentration, and the presence of other metal cations on the nature and composition of the precipitates were determined."

Explores the characters of the valleriite?s surface, studys on the flow-sheet of flotat valleriite and copper-sulphur separated. In neutral mine pulp, adopt of cationic collector to flotat valleriite, adopt of hyposulphite to depressant pyrite in low alkaline pulp can advance the recovery of copper to 5.06%.

"Our recent studies revealed that the sulfide minerals in contact with water during grinding produced hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) where the amount of H2O2 production by the minerals found to be in the order of pyrite > chalcopyrite > sphalerite > galena. The H2O2 effect on the oxidation of pulp components and its influence on the concentrate grade and recovery in flotation have been studied and the results have been presented and discussed in this paper. Studies have also been carried out to build correlation between percentage of pyrite in the concentrate, grinding conditions and concentration of OH•/H2O2 in the pulp and as well of controlling the formation of these species through known chemical means for depressing the generation of the oxidant. Flotation tests using a complex sulfide ore with the same reagent scheme that is being used at Bama concentrator in Iran but with the addition i) Na2S reductant and ii) inorganic (EDTA) and organic (TETA) surface modifiers, during grinding stage have been performed to judge the beneficial or detrimental role of H2O2 on the selective flotation of sulfides. The results demonstrate that the selectivity of metal sulfides against pyrite increases with increasing generation of H2O2 in the pulp liquid.INTRODUCTIONOur recent studies have illustrated the formation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) by metal-sulphides during grinding in the presence and absence of oxygen (Javadi Nooshabadi & Hanumantha Rao, 2013a; Javadi Nooshabadi & Hanumantha Rao, 2013b; Javadi Nooshabadi & Hanumantha Rao, 2013c; Javadi Nooshabadi & Hanumantha Rao, 2014). In the absence of oxygen, it was found that pyrite surface is catalytically active and able to breakdown water molecules to form OH• free radical and thereby deriving oxygen in the formation of H2O2 from water molecules. The in-situ formation of H2O2 and its influence on sulphide flotation has not been addressed yet. The presence of strong H2O2 oxidant in the pulp liquid and its selective oxidation of pyrite would be beneficial in depressing pyrite flotation. Therefore, it is important to build correlation between percentage of pyrite in the concentrate, grinding conditions and concentration of OH•/H2O2 in the pulp as well as to study possible ways of flexibly controlling the formation of these species through known chemical means for depressing the generation of the oxidant."

"The monoalkyl ethers of polyethylene glycols are universal flotation reagents because they can be used as collectors, frothers, surfactants, and depressants. Their collecting power was demonstrated for different minerals including coal and quartz.It was confirmed in this work that monoalkyl ethers of polyethylene glycols could be used as collector in flotation of quartz in a monobubble Hallimond cell. Since feldspar does not float in the same cell, it was also shown that selective separation of quartz and feldspar in the Hallimond tube is possible. However, a trail to use the monoalkyl ethers of polyethylene glycols compounds for separation of quartz and feldspar by flotation of mixture of these minerals in a Mechanobr laboratory flotation machine was futile, indicating that these reagents required special environment for flotation.Most probable parameter responsible for a decrease in quartz flotation in the flotation machine is the hydrodynamics of process, and different adsorption/desorption conditions. To prove this, another series of experiments was carried out to separate quartz and feldspar, in which a laboratory flotation column was utilized. The performance of the flotation column was in between that of in the Hallimond tube and flotation machine. These experiments confirmed that the hydrodynamics of flotation plays a vital role in flotation of quartz with monoalkyl ethers of polyethylene glycol compounds."

"By the end of 2000, the first bio-oxidation plant in China that designed by ENFI come successfully into commercial operation in Yantai Gold Smeltery. Its capacity is 50t/d of refractory gold ore concentrate. After the extension, the capacity of bio-oxidation plant reached 80t/d of refractory gold ore concentrate at end of 2001.The refractory gold ore concentrate treated is from different gold mines. After proportionate feeding, the feed typically consists of Au (52.7g/t), S (24.42%), As (3.58%).The bacterial culture used in the bio-oxidation circuit is taken from a mine in south of China, and has been grown over 20 years on a variety of sulfide concentrates in a laboratory of mineral processing, and has shown to be adaptive to growth in a high concentrations of arsenic. It is a mixture of mesophilic microorganisms. The nutrients used in the bio-oxidation process are (NH4)2SO4, KH2PO4, KOH.Before feeding to bio-oxidation circuit, the concentrate would be milled to minus 43µm. The biooxidation product is fed to solid/liquid separation system that consists of a thickener and two press filters, solid from the system is fed to CCD circuit, liquid from the system is fed to neutralization area. The neutralized product is fed to another solid/liquid separation system, and the solid from the system is disposed of on a wasted quarry pit, the liquid from the system is returned to bio-oxidation circuit for reusing."

"An estimated 600,000 tons of bentonite clay are used annually in the U. S. as binder for production of iron ore concentrate pellets. Since this is a significant cost item for the plants, and the addition of bentonite to the pellets contributes undesirable silica into the finished pellets, there is considerable incentive for finding methods to reduce bentonite use. One way to reduce bentonite levels is to selectively use those bentonites that are most effective in this application, so that a lower dosage will still produce a sufficiently strong pellet. Unfortunately, there are no satisfactory methods available for accurately predicting which bentonites are actually most effective, short of using them to actually make pellets. One of the popular methods for attempting to evaluate bentonites is the “Plate Water Absorption” (PWA) test. While some plant operators accept the PWA results as indicating the relative quality of bentonites, others disagree and claim that, over a fairly broad range of values, PWA does not correlate with bentonite performance.Since both Ca+2 and Mg+2 ions are known to reduce the swelling and water absorption capacity of bentonite, it was believed that the presence of these ions in plant recycle water could be changing the bentonite performance. Since the standard PWA test uses only distilled water for its measurements, it could not detect these effects. Experiments were therefore carried out on a number of different bentonites using a modified PWA tests, with plant recycle water replacing the distilled water. These experiments showed little effect of the plant water on the PWA value, and chemical analysis of the water showed that the levels of dissolved salts were quite low.Water and accompanying salts were then extracted from a magnetite concentrate filter cake by rinsing with distilled water. Analysis of this water showed an extremely high level of dissolved salts, particularly salts of calcium and magnesium. When concentrations were compared with the recycle water from the plant filters, it was determined that levels of Ca+2 and Mg+2 retained in the filter cake were over 500 times higher than levels in the recycle water. This extreme elevation of soluble salts in the filter cake is believed to be due to adsorption of these ions into the electrical double layer of the magnetite particles."

"The Merensky Reef is a platinum group minerals (PGM) bearing reef in the Bushveld Igneous Complex in South Africa. The reef has been treated by bulk PGM and sulphide flotation with the aim of maximisingthe valuable minerals recovery and gangue minerals rejection.Synthetic water with a calcium concentration of 80 ppm and 500 ppm was prepared and the flotation results obtained were compared to a simple electrolyte in order to determine the effect water quality has on pentlandite and pyroxene surface alteration and, ultimately, floatability. During the study, the possible effect of interactions between the minerals investigated and Ca2+ ions in the presence of sodium isobutyl xanthate was studied at pH 6 and pH 9 by means of zeta potential determinations, microflotation tests and ToF-SIMS analysis.The results obtained on 1:1 pentlandite-pyroxene mixtures showed that the quality of process water plays an important role in flotation. The flotation recoveries of pentlandite and pyroxene were lower in synthetic process water compared to those obtained in a simple electrolyte solution."

Fengning ilmenite ore is a magnetic deposit in gabbro containing high phosphorus and low titanium, the main minerals in which are ilmenite, magnetite and apatite. The dissemination size of magnetite is so fine that even the percentage of -0.010mm level is up to 36.50%. The fine and vein magnetite are distributed in gangue and ilmenite, so the majority of the magnetite is difficult to be separated from the gangue. Ilmenite is difficult to be recovered by low-intensity magnetic separation even through fine grinding. In high-intensity magnetic separation of ilmenite, the gangue inter-growth with the magnetite and the Fe-containing silicates may be enriched in the concentrate, and the ilmenite of the concentrate will be reduced. Based on the processing mineralogy research, combined gravity-flotation process is suggested to recover the ilmenite. The method is also good to reduce phosphorus in the ilmenite concentrate.

"This paper presents a new magnetic separator, which can be applied to increase the grade of fine magnetite ore feeding of ball mill. This innovative equipment possesses a rotating magnetic system and has a magnetic field of rapid polarity change which can strengthen the destruction of magnetic agglomerations and the dispersion of minerals to improve the quality of separation. Now this type separators have been successfully applied in several large concentrating plants such as Shuichang Iron Mine under Shouang Mining Company in China. Finally, this paper outlines practical results focused on feed grade and tailing yield, the results are showing that the quality of feeding can be improve tremendously. INTRODUCTION Jidong region in China is the important origin of iron ore, the characteristics of the iron ore in this region is low grade and complex, the iron mine discharges fine powder tailings reaches tens of millions of tons each year, in the wind action easy to form sand, this poses a threat to the atmosphere environment of Beijing. In order to reduce the mixing of large amount of useless ore and reduce the energy consumption of mill operation, a high efficiency pregrinding equipment is needed. Rotating magnetic field separator (RMS) is an advanced equipment, the main advantage of RMS is the significant reduction in particle entrapment and can easily break magnetic agglomeration. This reduction is so significant that RMS is capable of operating very close to theoritical limit for separator precision and can increace efficiency in selection process.Some expenrimental work on dry rotating magnetic field separation has been carried out in July 1998 in the company Ka Pty Ltd, then in 2008 BGRIMM developed industrial separation XCTG0816 in Shandong province . The wet RMS was researched in1960s in Former Soviet Union and the first industrial equipment was developed by BGRIMM in 1970s,then in 1990s wet RMS was applied in Ansteel group corporation. In 2017,6 units large wet RMS (SXCT1230)which were the largest RMS was applied in Sichuan province. No matter wet RMS and dry RMS, although they are used in differenct applications, they have some common research.in addition ,they all have good use effect."

The Miraí plant from Votorantim Metais, has two screening stages to the bauxite classification after scrubbagem. The final product has hold the larger size of 0,84 millimeters (20 mesh). There are two sieves Haver & Boecker (model R-TE 3658 x 10972), which have four modules with cut size sieves of 10 mesh (1.70 millimeters) and ¼ inch (6.35 millimeters) on the primary screen, and 20 mesh (0.84 mm) on the secondary screen, all made of polyurethane. The actual configuration was established according to the empirical tests realized that aimed the increase material load on the secondary screening. However, having in mind the screening process improvement and use the fractions smaller than 0,84 mm, which have significant levels of Alumina and low reactive silica, was proposed a new test of change the sieves opening for 6 mesh in the primary screen and 28 mesh for the secondary sieve. The objective of this work was measure the ore alterations on the particle size distribution on the screening steps, increasing the plant weight and ratio recovery before and after the test.

In the region of the North-Bohemian Coal Basin and its environment, there, in a row of places, are found the accumulations of rocks of the sedimentary and pyro clastic origin, the preliminary composition of those shows the possibility of their being utilized for the production of ecologically sparing natural Fe- and Ti- pigments and filling substances. In many places of the regions of Chomutov and Podborany and near Bilina and also in other places, there are found raw stocks perspective for the preparation of yellow up to ochre-brown, red, brown-red and green dyes. The target of project is the verification of dispensable reserves, their mineralogical composition and chemical and physical attributes, verification of treatment ways of Fe-and Ti-pigments separation (hydrocyclones, magnetic and electrostatic separation) and their stabilization and technological painting attributes for applications in colors, coating and plastic masses, mortar mixtures etc.
