By means of natural sedimentation, two different bentonite samples from Shandong province were purified, this paper studies the Hydro-properties of the two purified montmorillonite samples. Firstly, the layer charge of two purified montmorillonite samples were calculated by crystal structure formula reckon method and general hydro-properties were also measured. The research results showed that the layer charge of montmorillonite correlated well with its hydro-properties: mont-morillonite with lower layer charge had better hydro-properties, such as Mont-1, which had higher swelling volume and gelling value with lower CEC; while, montmorillonite with higher layer charge had worse hydro-properties, such as Mont-2, which had lower swell volume and gelling value with higher CEC; it proves that the hydro-properties of montmorillonite depends on its layer charge characteristics, layer charge characteristic is the inherent factors deciding the hydro-properties of montmorillonite, montmorillonite with lower layer charge has better hydro-properties than the one with higher layer charge. In this paper, the relation between the medium condition and colloid performance of Mont-1 are also studied. The results show that the hydro-properties of Mont-1 could be changed by changing slurry concentration (w/w) and shear rate or adding certain amounts of inorganic cation electrolytes, dispersants and surfactants. The viscosity of montmorillonite slurry could be enhanced by increasing slurry concentration,adding univalentcation electrolytes (less than 4% w/w) or proper amounts of dispersants and surfactants (less than critical micelle concentration); The slurry viscosity could be reduced by decreasing slurry concentration, increasing shear rate, adding proper bivalent (more than 4% w/w) cation electrolytes or proper quantities of dispersants and surfactants (more than critical micelle concentration).

"Russia is among the nations holding the world's largest lithium ore reserves. Lithium is of key importance for the global economy. Therefore, it is important to review the current state of technology research aimed at finding the most effective solutions for the recovery of lithium from promising reserves in Russia. In Russia, a number of process solutions for the flotation of spodumene into salable concentrate (5% Li2O) have been implemented at the earlier existing complex low-grade ore concentration project. By applying these solutions, a sample of high-grade spodumene ore (4.7% Li2O) of the Greenbushes deposit was processed into a spodumene concentrate (7.5% Li2O) at a high recovery (~93%) of lithium. In Australia and Canada, new processes have been developed for the recovery of high-grade spodumene concentrates from high-grade ores using dense medium separation and flotation. For the recovery of mica lithium concentrates from low-grade ore, a flotation process was developed in Russia using the cationic collector ANP-2 and Oxifos-B as an additional collector. Low-grade ore containing 0.14% of lithium oxide was processed into a 2.7% Li2O concentrate. New hydrometallurgical lithium concentrate and ore processes are developed to avoid high-temperature (>1000 °C) roasting. The Sileach process (Australia) includes leaching of lithium ore with sulfuric acid in the presence of a halogen-containing component at a temperature of 95-115 °C. In the Russian process, lithium is recovered into an alkaline solution from low-grade spodumene ore in a pressure alkaline leaching environment (250 °C, NaOH concentration > 300 g/l). The developed concentration and hydrometallurgical methods will allow to design on their basis efficient processes for recovering salable products for hi-tech industries from lithium ores.INTRODUCTION Lithium has many unique and important properties. It is the least dense hard metal. Its alloys have some of the highest strength-to-weight ratios. Lithium has the lowest melting point of all known solid elements and is used as a highly-effective heat transfer medium. The high demand for lithium is due primarily to its unique electrochemical potential and low thermal expansion coefficient. It is used in the production of glass and ceramics, in petrochemicals, metals, medical and other industries. Since the late 20th century, the electronics industry has been the largest consumer of lithium. In recent years, lithium has attracted much attention also as an important component of ultra-lightweight electronic devices. It is also the preferred metal for electric batteries used in mobile electronic devices, vehicles, household power generators, making it an important resource for the development of environmentally friendly technology. Leading automotive brands have ambitious plans for the production of electric cars — Tesla Motors, VW, Toyota, GM, BYD Auto. It is expected that the production of electric vehicles alone will triple the demand for lithium by 2025. A sharp increase in the production of lithium is expected. "Silver is currently lost as jarosite during the pressure oxidation of sulphides and cyanidation of the residues yields 5-10% of silver. Efforts to recover silver from complex sulphides, which contain economic fractions of silver require an understanding of the behaviour of acanthite during pressure oxidation. However, previous studies of acanthite (Ag2S) reaction have been complicated by the formation of argento-jarosite and uncertainties arise on the interpretation of the results.In this work, the acid pressure oxidation of high-grade natural silver sulphide mineral (acanthite) was carried out at 110-150°C and under the conditions similar to that of pressure oxidation of complex sulphide. The predominant product of reaction is elemental sulphur. The rate of reaction increases with increasing temperature and with the presence of ferric ions. The kinetics is controlled by chemical reaction with activation energy of 72.6 kJ/mol. The rate of reaction decreases with the presence of silver sulphate in the initial slurry. The concept of adsorption or separation of platinum anions from base metal cations in chloride media using native or chemically modified activated carbons has been discussed in various journals within the context of batchwise systems. In our research work, a fixed-bed column, loaded with native and amine-immobilized activated carbon pellets (Norit RO 0.8), was used to study selective adsorption of platinum ions from chloride media at different flow rates, bed depth and initial metal concentrations. The kinetics, mass transfer characteristics, breakthrough data and separation factors (ß(Pt/Fe) and ß(Pt/Cr)) were quantitatively analysed and modeled. The bed-depth service time (BDST) model was used to model the breakthrough curves successfully in fixed-bed columns and also the dispersive diffusion in the radial and axial directions of the bed were evaluated. The inner diameter of the column was 3 cm and the bed depth was between 1.0 cm and 2.5 cm. Concentrated 4 M HCl acid solution was used to elute the fixed-bed column. It was demonstrated that amine-treated activated carbons provides superior separation factors between platinum and base metals (Fe, Cr). Results showed also, that 95% saturation was reached within 10~26 hours depending on the nature of ACs at a flow rate of 11 mL/min and initial concentration of 5 ppm.

"Indian coal industry is the world's third largest in terms of production and fourth largest in terms of proven coal resources. Indian coal deposits are generally of high ash content varying from 24 to 50%. The coking coal reserves of India constitute about 12% of the total coal inventory, and the coals are washed in washeries, before being used for metallurgical purposes. The processes used for washing coking coal is Jigs, Heavy medium bath and Cyclones for the sizes upto 0.5mm, while the coal fines are washed in spirals and conventional flotation cells. Extensive studies were carried out for understanding the performance of an operating conventional flotation plant. The performance studies revealed that appreciable quantity of clean coal is being lost in the tailings due to varied reasons and the required quantity and quality was not achieved. In this study, laboratory Flotation experiments were carried out to examine the cleaning characteristics of the said tailing and to determine the effective process parameters for recovery of clean coal at desired ash level ( 16-17%). Response Surface Methodology was applied to investigate the operating conditions of the Froth Flotation for modeling and optimization. Primary study reflects that there is a possibility to recover clean coal at 16-17% ash level with a yield of about 60-70% from that Flotation tailing of feed ash about 28%.INTRODUCTIONMost of the Indian coking coals are difficult in cleaning characteristics and high ash content due to its drift origin and its age of formation for more than 225 million years. Indian coking coal reserve is limited about 12% of total coal reserve. The minerals are homogeneously mixed with the coal macerals. The open cast mining practice and mechanized mining methods are being adopted to meet the increasing demands of coals resulting in generation of more coal fines and subsequently the quality is deteriorated. Indian good quality coking coal reserves of higher seams are fast depleting and hence coking coals of difficult cleaning characteristics of lower seams (LVC) are being now explored. Due to increased mechanization of coal mines to cope up the increased demand and followed by size reduction of lower seam coals in search of better liberation , the coal fines are increasing by leaps and bounds. Since several years in Poland a huge demands on mineral aggregates occur, for the reason of intensive development of housing and road industry, as well as industrial building. Limitations in re-sources of broken aggregates in Central and Northern parts of Poland cause, that both the non-waste production of aggregates with high quality and the production of alternative aggregates from recycling gain greater importance, nowadays. It entails increase in demands for crushing devices, which are easy and reliable in operating as well as inexpensive and enabling to obtain a good quality products. Jaw crusher, regarded as the most spread in Polish industry, meet these requirements, however, their crucial disadvantage is a large content of irregular grains in crushing products. Numerous investigations show, that the shape of grains is a significant feature of aggregates, which influences on durability and quality of produced concretes. The advantage of jaw crushers is their easy operation, low price as well as low amount of dusts (wastes) generated in comminution products in comparison to other types of crushers (i.e. hammer crushers).

The development of surface charge of serpentine mineral and implications for sulphide ?otation have been studied through flotation tests, sedimentation tests, zeta potential measurements and optical microscope photos. The results show that the serpentine mineral was positively charged at an extensive pH range, with an isoelectric point (IEP) of 11.9. The magnitude and sign of the pyrite particles were pH dependent and were negative for pH values above 2. At pH value 9, where ?otation of nickel sul?de ores is routinely performed, serpentine and pyrite particles attract through an electrostatic mechanism. Slime coatings of serpentine adhere to the surface of pyrite, reducing pyrite flotation recovery. The removal of magnesium ions from the serpentine surface by acid leaching results in a decrease of serpentine IEP and eliminates the adverse effect of serpentine on pyrite flotation. Therefore, it has been clearly established that the surface charge value developed in the serpentine/aqueous electrical interface is a function of the serpentine surface incongruently dissolution. As a result of hydroxyl dissolution, the magnesium ions are left in serpentine surface, which is responsible for serpentine surface charge. The methods, which can remove magnesium ions from serpentine surface, can be used to eliminate the adverse effect of serpentine on pyrite flotation.

Large quantities of electrical and electronic equipments are discarded at the end-of-life (EOL) in different industries and house hold applications. Their disposal is creating a challenging environmental problem due to the presence of hazardous metals and non-metallic materials such as epoxy resins and plastics including brominated flame retardants etc particularly in printed circuit boards (PCBs). The recovery valuable metals and separation of hazardous materials from discarded PCBs will not only conserve the resources but also mitigate the environmental pollution. From a recycling point of view for a sustainable society, the studies have been carried out for the recovery of metal values from EOL-PCBs of DVD video players (DVD-PCBs) and vacuum cleaners (VC-PCBs) using physical beneficiation techniques. The concentration of the metals was found to be 43 wt.% and 30 wt.% in DVD-PCBs and VC-PCBs, respectively. Both the PCBs samples were ground in a hammer mill after cutting and their size analysis was carried out. The liberation of the metallic and non-metallic fractions was investigated under the microscope for different size fractions. Subsequently, froth flotation and pneumatic air separation studied were carried out to enrich the metallic constituents. The studies showed the enrichment of metals in coarser particles (-1000 +150 µm) and non-metals in the finer particles -150 µm following mechanical recycling process. A grade of 90 % with 75% recovery was achieved by froth flotation, but lower grade and recovery of 75% and 65% respectively were obtained by pneumatic separation with -1500 µm powders for DVD-PCBs. A grade of 86% metal was obtained by froth flotation with 76% recovery in the case of VC-PCBs. The lower grade of 65% with almost same recovery was achieved during pneumatic separation studies due to lower concentration of metals in VC-PCBs. The studies also showed that the froth flotation is an efficient process for enrichment of metals from both the samples. The process is environmental friendly as no chemicals are employed during entire processing. The higher recovery and grade of metal is expected to be obtained on a large scale beneficiation process.

The purification process of water-mining carnallite and rough potassium chloride concentrate from Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group Co. Ltd. are investigated by the preprocessing-reverse flotation technology respectively. The results show that the impurities such as calcium sulfate and sodium chloride can be effectively removed from water-mining carnallite ore and rough potassium chloride concentrate by the new technology, the low-sodium carnallite is obtained and the final potassium chloride product greatly upgraded. The content and the recovery of KCl in the low-sodium carnallite are 25.78% and 97.50%, meanwhile the content of NaCl, CaSO4 in the low-sodium carnallite are 0.56% and 0.24%, and the removal of sodium chloride and calcium sulfate in the low-sodium carnallite are 97.48%, 85.10% respectively. The KCl content and recovery of high quality potassium chloride product are 98.25%, 96.70%, and CaSO4 content is 0.40% with 83.24% calcium sulfate removed in the high quality potassium chloride product.

In order to determine the optimal process parameters of agitation leaching and provide industrial process design parameters, experiments were carried out on leaching behaviors of copper oxide ore with high mud content. Condition tests show that the main factors affect the leaching efficiency as follows: Temperature, Initial acid concentration, leaching time and particle size. As the temperature increases, the copper leaching rate was increased. At 60 ?, the initial acid concentration 80g / L, leaching time 2h, liquid-solid ratio 2:1 and grinding fineness65%-0.074mm, the optimal copper extraction was 83.15%, the acid consumption was 187.91kg / t. ore. Crushing plants are widely used around the world as a pre-processing step in the mineral and mining industries and as standalone processing plants in the aggregates industry. Despite automation and different advanced model predictive control, a lot of the process is still managed by operators. The operators affect a lot of the performance. The numbers of the improvement they can achieve are at least as big as the advanced control algorithms?, today. Therefore, it is also important to train the operators so they know how to behave in different situations. Models for crushers and other production units have been developed during the years and the latest add is the different units? dynamic behavior being brought in, which gives the crushing plants dynamic time dependant performance. This can be used as a simulator for operators training. By connecting a Human Machine Interface (HMI) to a dynamic simulator with the models incorporated, a training environment for operators can be achieved. In this paper, a dynamic crushing plant simulator implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK has been connected to an HMI via a PLC. The HMI is placed in a control room at the university and complemented with monitors showing sequences from the process connected to the simulations, thus creating a realistic control room for training. In the created training environment, the operators can be trained under realistic conditions. Simple training scenarios and how they could be simulated are discussed. Apart from the increased level of knowledge and experience among the operators, the time is an important factor. While a real crushing plant is still being built, the operators to be can already be trained, saving a lot of the commissioning time. Considering the subtractive trend of the sulfide and high-grade zinc ores in worldwide and also in Iran, Nowadays special attentions have been drawn to the extraction of zinc from its other resources such as low-grade oxide ores and secondary resources. Oxide ore of the eastern part of Mehdi-abad lead and zinc mine is silicate and has an average grade of 7% (with cut off grade of 4%). Main mineral of the Mehdi-abad ore is Hemimorphite and this mineral is associated with Goethite, Hematite, Ferrous Dolomite, and Manganese oxide mineral so that oxides of Iron, manganese and silica include almost 50% of the total ore. In this paper, the results obtained from the leaching kinetic study of the low-grade zinc oxide ore using Sulfuric acid are presented. The effects of particle size, reaction temperature, acid concentration, and solid percent on the dissolution rate have been investigated. The results obtained from the Taghochi approach showed that the zinc recovery is about 78% under the following optimized conditions: particle size: 106µm, leaching time: one hour, temperature: 45°C, acid concentration: 15% and solid percent: 15%. Kinetics study was revealed that zinc minerals leaching controlled by diffusion rate through the product layer during leaching time with the activation energy of 5 KJ/mol and compliance with the 1- (2/3. x) ? "Water quality and quantity at the Tailing Thickening Section of processing plants is considered to be a crucial factor and impacts the performance of several sections. Therefore, gaining stable and effective performance at the Tailing Thickener Section is one of the principal goals of minerals processing plants. Different factors such as: qualitative and quantitative sustainability of plant feed, the balance between the mass of input and output water flow, the dissolving method and distribution of flocculant and the amount of dirt, solid percent of thickener inlet pulp, affect the performance of Tailing Thickener. The present study investigates the successful improvement of Tailing Thickener performance at Jalal Abad Hematite Iron Ore Concentrate plant through optimizing the above operational parameters. For this purpose, the following optimizations have been done: homogeneity and sustainability of plant input feed rates, fine pulp removal collected by the bag filters at the input of the thickener, adding an quietness box before moving the tail pulp into the thickener to reduce the pulp turbulence, replacing flocculant pump and injection pipes, improving water mass balance which leads to optimizing and stabilizing the concentration of input tail pulp into the thickener, adding a mixer to increase the flocculant preparation time, increasing the locations for adding flocculant to thickener from 1 point to 6 points. Applying the above modifications and monitoring the Tailing Thickener performance over the course of months, has led to the improvement of recovered water quality from 500 ppm to 200 ppm, increasing the solid underflow of the thickener from 40% to 48.5%, and similarly, reducing water loss by 60%. Of other important effects, due to improvement of water quality, grade of final concentrate 0.5% increased and because of 73% increase in monthly working hour, concentrate tonnage 55% increased. Finally, sludge thickener optimization has had a significant effect in selecting and designing the dewatering system from the underflow of the sludge thickener."

Industrially proven and applied nitrogen species catalyzed (i.e. NSC) acidic pressure leaching has been utilized to treat a number of ores, concentrates and recycled materials. This versatile technology offers many advantages including low temperatures, low pressures, low capital costs, low operating costs, faster throughput and less costly materials of construction than conventional pressure oxidation. This paper will elucidate the application of this technology for production of gold, silver, palladium, rhodium, zinc, germanium, gallium, cobalt, copper, molybdenum, rhenium and nickel. Recycled material applications will also be elucidated. In addition, details of an application for treatment of a refractory chalcopyrite copper and gold bearing ore will be presented and pertinent economics discussed.

"Oolitic hematite ore is one of the most refractory iron ores in the world. It is not feasible to separate iron minerals from raw ore by conventional mineral processing methods. In recent years, a new technology called coal-based reduction followed by magnetic separation has been employed to produce metallic iron powder from oolitic hematite ore effectively. In order to find the nucleation mechanism, a thermodynamic analysis of the carbothermic reduction of oolitic hematite ore was conducted by the HSC 6.0 thermochemical software. The phase transition and microstructure changes during the coal-based reduction were also investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results showed that the iron oxides in the oolitic ore were reduced to metallic iron following the route of Fe2O3–Fe3O4–FeO–Fe in reduction process. The reduction reactions preferentially occur in the high activity regions to form a higher concentration of Fe elements, and then more supersaturated Fe separated out to form new phase nuclei. Under the action of homo-aggregation and principle of minimum free energy, the iron cores continuously absorbed migratory Fe around and grew into quasi-spherical iron particles embedded in slag phase. Green pellet strength including drop number and green compression is highly depended on particles size and shape. The used grinding method, ball mill or high pressure grinding roll (HPGR), directly vary the particle size and shape. Considering mode of pellet crack, green pellet is composed of particle-binder-moisture system. Different type of forces existed in such a system to create a stable green pellet: solid particle interaction, magnetic, binding and cohesive forces in the interface of particle-moisture. The pellet failure can occur at solid-liquid interface and/or through liquid phase. Pellet crack occurs when crack passed through entirely the plane failure. In this research, the effect of particle size and shape of pellet feed on green pellet strength has been investigated. It was deduced that green pellet strength highly improved by increase of specific surface area. The drop number and green compression strength of pellets prepared by HPGR was higher than ball mill. It was found that the main reason responsible for this difference was the particle shape. Capillary force is responsible for part of pellet force and improves by decrease of particle size. Also more elongated shape of HPGR particles resulted in higher capillary force due to thinner interface layer between particles. The less circular shape of particles lead to improvement of capillary force as can be occurred for HPGR particles. The rougher shape of HPGR particles resulted in higher wettability of particles and better diffusion of water among particles. In fact the rougher particles means lower connection angle. Aspect ratio of particles was of great importance of crack growth because the required energy of pellet failure increases directly. The required energy for pellet failure increases by increment of particle aspect ratio. The relationship among crack failure force, roughness and aspect ratio has been modeled considering 3 shape descriptors.

Despite increasing demand, the supply of silver is limited by its inadequate recovery from ores. Due to its scarcity in nature, its high ore variability and complex mineralogy of current silver deposits, its recovery by mineral froth flotation presents a real challenge for process engineers. A silver ore often contains significant amounts of five to ten different silver minerals and knowledge of the mineralogy is a necessary precursor to flotation testing. In this work, a complex silver ore was treated by using batch laboratory flotation, in an effort to find the best experimental conditions to obtain the optimal silver recovery. Mineralogical characterization of feed samples was conducted using a combination of tools, namely the mineral liberation analyzer (MLA) and inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS), which indicated that most of the silver occurred as ?invisible? silver in pyrite. The pyrite assay of the ore was approximately 4%. The ore was processed in two flotation stages. The first stage, sulphide flotation, aimed to collect a sulphide mineral rich concentrate; then a non-sulphide flotation stage was performed by adding sodium sulphide and collectors to the remaining material in the cell, with the objective of obtaining a pyrite rich concentrate. To reach the target recovery of silver from this ore, various variables were altered. In the first stage: mixed collectors, activators, dispersants, and mainstream inert grinding were assessed. In the second stage, the conditions for sulphidization and subsequent flotation were both investigated. From the grade recovery curves for silver and sulphur it was possible to observe a similar metallurgical behavior for both elements, supporting the results given by the mineralogical characterization. This paper will discuss a SEM-EDS based quantitative analysis developed in JKtech Australia through an example from Jinchuan lean ore. For a low grade, com-plex intergrowths and texture lean ore, chemical phase analysis of value minerals and identification by optical microscope are very essential, unite the SEM-EDS based quantitative analysis, we can understand exactly the lean ore, explain and quantify the process performance.

With the progressive depletion of known resources of good quality coal and minerals as well as the increasing demand of these minerals by different user industries, the emphasis has been shifted all over the world from selective mining to bulk mining followed by up- gradation to obtain the required quality of concentrate. Present work has been undertaken to observe the effect of process variables (gas flow rate, feed/slurry flow rate, and frother concentration) on gas dispersion parameters (gas holdup, bubble surface area flux) in collection zone and to explore the effect of feed (slurry) inlet orientations and gas flow rate on column?s metallurgical performance. The effects of solid particle concentration, size and type (hydrophobic and hydrophilic) of solid on gas dispersion parameters have also been investigated. Test work has been performed in a continuously operating Perspex column (10 cm in diameter and 168 cm in height) using coal, sphalerite and dolomite as solid. Gas hold-up has been measured by phase separation method and mean bubble sizes are estimated from a drift flux analysis. The influence of operating parameters on bubble surface area flux has been discussed. It is observed that gas holdup in collection zone is affected by air as well as feed flow rates and also solid?s type. It is also found that addition of solid decreases the gas holdup and rate of decrease in gas holdup increases when solid concentration increases and particle size increases. Increase in gas flow rate increases recovery in collection zone due to increase in number of bubbles per unit volume of the column. From the experimental results it is evident that cross-current orientation of feed inlet shows slightly better metallurgical performance compared to other orientations. "Magnetic seeding co-agglomeration, i.e. adding magnetic seeds, organic depressant (such as the starch), and pre-magnetization for co-agglomeration, was applied in the reverse flotation for hematite ore slimes. Samples of the hematite ore slimes and the pure hematite fines were investigated by the co-agglomeration, respectively. Flotation tests suggest that the depressing effect of starch in the flotation was further enhanced with the addition of magnetic seeds and the pre-magnetization. Following the laser size analysis and flotation tests, TOC adsorption analysis, VSM, surface charge measurement, AFM, FTIR study, and SEM imaging have been utilized to understand the depressing mechanism. Based on the results it was demonstrated that with the addition of magnetic seeds and the low field pre-magnetization, the adsorption of starch onto hematite minerals was strengthened through the magnetic seeding co-agglomeration. The co-agglomeration improved the flotation performance by introducing the magnetic interactions and acting the bridging adsorption of starch between fine hematite and magnetic seeds in a suspension, and then resulting in an intensified coverage of the starch onto hematite particles and positive action in the coagglomeration under the pre-magnetization.INTRODUCTIONFlotation is undoubtedly the most important and versatile mineral processing technique, and both its use and application are continually being expanded to treat greater tonnages and to cover new area. However, its influence was limited to a relatively narrow particle size range of 5–300 µm (Wills and Napier-Munn, 2006). The main reason behind this limitation lies in that fine particles have high specific surface area, so need relatively high dosage of reagents (collectors or depressants), and exhibit poor flotation performance while intermediate or properly-sized particles produce high flotation kinetics and need low consumption of reagents. In order to increase the recovery of fine particles, quite a few of flotation techniques have been investigated. Most of them are based on particle aggregation, namely, by enlarging the apparent particle size, such as carrier flotation (Valderrama and Rubio, 1998; Zhu et al., 2009), shear flocculation (Duzyola and Ozkan, 2010; Yin et al., 2011), selective polymer flocculation (Rubio et al., 2007; Song et al., 2012; Ng et al., 2015), oil agglomeration (Laskowski and Lopez- Vladivieso, 2004; Forbes, 2011), temperature responsive polymer flocculation flotation (Forbes et al, 2011), and etc. However, these techniques above-mentioned are mainly studied for the direct flotation of fine minerals, and most of these techniques have not found applications for iron ore slimes especially recovered by the reverse cationic or anionic flotation."
