At the present time, the Florida phosphate industry is experiencing one of the worst marked slumps in its one hundred year history. Recent agriculture over-production has caused low grain prices such that the net income of U.S. farmers is expected to drop to its lowest level since the 1932 depression. The farmers' low income, along with high interest rates that preclude them from borrowing to purchase fertilizer, make the immediate U.S. phosphate market outlook bleek at best. The export outlook is also pessimistic due to world recession and the U.S. dollar's high exchange rate. In June, 26% of the phosphate industry's workers were laid off for an indefinite period of time. Despite the immediate painful slump, the long-term outlook for the industry looks good. Florida has enormous reserves and will continue to produce a third of the world's phosphate supply simply by making changes in the present system of mining, beneficiation, waste disposal and land reclamation.

INTRODUCTION Continuous mining machines are used in regular flat ore beds having uniform thickness. Since coal is the most common type of material occurring in such beds, most continuous miners are used for the extraction of coal from underground mines. The first continuous mining machine for under¬ground coal mining was introduced in 1948. In one machine, the continuous miner combines the functions performed by a conventional face drill, a cutting ma¬chine, and a loading machine. It breaks or digs the material out of the surrounding solid and transfers the material back through the machine chassis by means of a chain conveyor. The conveyor carries the material to a haulage system, usually a rubber-tired vehicle known as a shuttle car. Generally, continuous miners are used in seam heights from 890 to 3660 mm (35 to 144 in.). For seam heights of 1070 mm (42 in.) or less, the haulage system may be a multiple-bridge conveyor or battery-powered tractors that haul low-bed trailers. Proj¬ects are being undertaken by private industry and through government contracts to develop a continuous haulage system for all seam heights. As of 1976, the majority of continuous miners were of two types. The first type is the drum miner, which mounts the cutting elements on a series of drums across the cutting head of the machine, sometimes using a cutting chain to cut clearance for the gear drive. In the drum-type machines, the cutting head rotates parallel to the material face. The second type is the auger miner, which utilizes cutting elements mounted on two auger-type cutting heads. One head is located on each side of the machine, with the heads mounted per¬pendicular to the material face. Chain-head ripper-type miners/miners having rotary cutting elements with oscillating motion and twin-head boring-type miners have all been popular within the last 15 years. Although these are considered obsolete, some machines are still being supplied for specialized applications. GENERAL DESCRIPTION This chapter describes only continuous mining ma¬chines available as manufacturers' production models as of September 1976. Figs. 1 through 11 illustrate some typical machines currently in use. Cutting Elements The cutting elements are the interface between the machine and the material being mined. In describing the cutting elements, consideration must be given to the differences between the drum- and auger-type machines, the bit-tip speeds, and the bit types. Drum-Type Continuous Mining Machines: Three of the four principal manufacturers of drum-type miners use multi-motor designs that provide separate a-c motors for driving the cutting elements. Gear trains are used to reduce the speeds of the motors to the rotational speeds of the cutting elements. One of the three suppliers drives the cutting elements of its low-seam models with a heavy-duty drive chain that is equipped with cutting bits; all other functions of this machine have separate motor drives that are either electrical or hydraulic. The fourth principal manufacturer generally provides two a-c electric motors, utilizing gear reducers, drive shafts, and hydraulically operated engaging clutches to power all of the operating functions, including the cut¬ting elements. Some drum-type miners use trim chains, equipped with cutting bits, to cut clearance for the gear drives. These trim chains vary from two 305-mm (12-in.) chains to one 760-mm (30-in.) chain per machine, de¬pending upon the manufacturer's design concept. In all machines other than the low-seam models that use chains to drive the heads, the trim chains are driven by sprockets on the drive shaft of the final cutterhead drum; therefore, the trim chains are not used for power trans¬mission to the cutting elements. In addition to cutting clearance for the gear drives, the trim chains provide uniform bit spacing all the way across the head and assist in moving the cut material to an area where it is either loaded directly into the miner's conveyor or is easier to load into the conveyor. On a drum-type mining machine, the cutting ele¬ments all rotate from the top to the bottom. Therefore, the recommended procedure is to raise the cutterhead to the maximum seam height, sump the entire machine forward to maximum depth by means of a crawler drive, and then shear downward until the cutter elements reach the floor level. The maximum sump depth varies ac¬cording to the drum diameter, the type of material, the floor conditions, and the operator's abilities. It normally varies an average of 460 to 760 mm (18 to 30 in.). Cutter drums are supplied with two types of cutting bit holders. Weld-on holders are attached permanently. Pin-on holders are replaceable at the face. Cutter-drum diameters over the bit tips vary from 660 to 965 mm (26 to 38 in.), depending upon the chassis height of the machine and the range of cutting heights. The Leadville District has been a prominent metal producer since its discovery in 1860. Veins and replacement bodies both have contributed to district production. The latter have been the major metal sources and are hosted within the Paleozoic Leadville, Dyer, and Manitou Dolomites. Igneous bodies representing eight separate events cut the sedimentary section. The main intrusive complex within the district occurs in the Breece Hill area and was the thermal center about which the vein and replacement ores exhibit mineralogical zoning. Precious metal-pyrite-quartz veins (quartz Th= 422 to 469°C; salinity < 4.2 wt. percent eNaCI) occur within or peripheral to the Breece Hill Intrusive Complex, whereas base metal veins and replacement bodies extend from the complex margins outward as much as 2 mi. Pre-ore and post-ore igneous bodies occur, but Fragmental Porphyry dikes immediately post-date the ore event. The Fragmental Porphyry grades downward from a heterolithic breccia with rock-flour matrix to one with a dark, glassy, sulfide- and phenocryst-bearing matrix, commonly with quartz-feldspar porphyry selvages on the dike. Two types of replacement bodies are recognized in the district: 1) the Leadville-type (LTM), massive sulfide (> 60% sulfides) bodies with recoverable Zn, Pb, Ag, and Au, and 2) the Sherman-type (STM), sulfide bodies (low total sulfide) with barite, galena, sphalerite, argentian tetra.hedrite, and minor pyrite. The latter type occurs only within the Leadville Dolomite and is found throughout the Mosquito Range and extending into the Alma District. The Leadville-type replacement bodies are zoned with a pyritic margin and base metal core. Wallrock alteration and trace Pb-Zn dispersion are strongly developed in igneous wallrocks but are weakly developed in carbonate wallrocks. Cu:Zn, Ag:Zn, and Au:Fe ratios increase outward from the center to the margins of LTM. Some of the sulfide bodies are localized on earlier-formed magnetite skarns. Pyrrhotite, pyrite, and marcasite are the earliest formed sulfide phases while chalcopyrite, marmatite, and galena developed later. Tetrahedrite and electrum occur in vugs and fine veinlets cutting the sulfides. Late-stage barite, dolomite, and fluorite occur as minor phases. Pressure-corrected Th for quartz (375-410°C), sphalerite (374-387°C), barite (320-360°C), and dolomite (310-314°C) fluid inclusions with salinities < 5.2 wt. percent eNaCI characterize the fluid responsible for the formation of the Leadville-type orebodies. These values clearly demonstrate the high temperature and low salinity of the ore fluids. Sulfur isotope analyses for galena and barite from LTM are - 1.9 to + 0.9%o and 7.8%o, respectively. Proximity to feeder veins and favorable dolomite hosts are the principal controls on ore localization. The Sherman-type bodies are not internally zoned but commonly have host rock silicification near the orebody margin or in the footwall rocks adjacent to fluid flowpaths along faults. Early quartz, pyrite, dolomite, and white barite precede base metal-silver minerals which are followed by late quartz and golden barite. It is not clear whether the early quartz and the late quartz and barite are part of the STM-forming process. Fluid inclusion analyses yield trapping temperatures as follows: early quartz, 316-341 °C; barite, 264-347°C; low-iron sphalerite, 215-265°C; and late quartz, 260-278°C. All inclusion fluids have salinities < 8.1 wt. percent eNaCI. Sulfur isotope values for barite and galena from STM range from 13.2 to 24.00/00 (avg: 18.4%o) and -6.8 to -3.8%o (avg: -5.5o/00), respectively. A hydrothermal fluid d34SSS of about 15%o is needed in order for galena and barite in equilibrium to exhibit the observed sulfur isotope compositions. Equilibrium sulfur isotope fractionation between barite and galena indicates a 300°C temperature of deposition. Two separate hydrothermal events appear to have taken place to form the distinctive Leadville-type orebodies and those of the Sherman-type assemblage. The STM is known to be older than the LTM. The latter is likely mid-Tertiary in age, post-dating emplacement of the Johnson Gulch Porphyry. LTM is clearly related to meteoric leaching of sulfur and lead (and other metals) from the upper portions of the Breece Hill Stock. Fluids were transmitted along faults, bedding planes, and contacts, and cooled away from the intrusive complex. Early ore fluids were weakly acidic and developed argillic assemblages in the igneous rocks adjacent to the fluid conduits. Reaction/replacement of carbonate rocks occurred where fluids encountered dolomite, but rapid neutralization prevented any wide-spread alteration beyond the ore-carbonate host contact. Pressures based on sphalerite geobarometry and stratigraphic reconstruction were 1.0-1.2 Kb. The high temperatures of vein and replacement ore fluids indicate that chloride complexing was more effective in metal transport than bisulfide complexes. Cooling, dilution of ore fluids, and reaction with carbonate rocks were the major factors in LTM ore deposition. STM formed over wide expanses of the Leadville Dolomite terrain adjacent to (and possibly capping) the Sawatch uplift. Sedimentary sulfur was derived from Pennsylvanian evaporite-bearing sequences adjacent to the uplift. Ore leads are strongly radiogenic (J-type) and are compatible with a crustal-leaching model. Temperatures of ore formation are higher, and ore-fluid salinities are lower than Mississippi Valley-type ore fluids. Superimposed upon dark-gray, diagenetic Leadville Dolomite are several stages of hydrothermal dolomite regionally distributed astride intrusive centers of the Colorado Mineral Belt. The presence of these later dolomites argues for dolomitization and later ore deposition in response to an abnormal thermal gradient caused by emplacement of Laramide batholiths and their generation of convective flow of meteoric fluids.

In the past several decades, many major equipment manufacturers have ventured into developing new technology for underground hard rock excavation. This includes variety of configurations for full and partial face mobile excavation units. Mining industry prefers machines that can excavate noncircular, flat invert profiles and be able to make tight turns in hard rock. The need to use disc cutters for cutting hard rock has impeded the development of such machines due to the need for gripper system or large mass of a machine to support the force requirements of the disc cutters. Most of the prior attempts have been partially successful and the operations have faced some practical limits and challenges. Among the units that have been successfully used, one can name mobile miner, which was used for rock excavation in some projects. A redesigned mobile miner, called the “Remote Vein Miner,” or RVM, has been developed by Epiroc for underground hard rock mining in Hecla’s Lucky Friday Mine. This equipment potentially opens numerous opportunities for innovation in civil tunneling projects, where the operational flexibility and accessibility of a TBM’s limited tunnel path, design of the profile, and cost are limiting factors. This paper explores the application of the RVM in tunneling projects, its advantages and possible areas of innovation in tunnel planning and design.

Important aspects of kerosene penetration into tar sand have been investigated. The natural tar sand porosity was measured and used to analyze the performance of the hot water process. Subsequently, pretreatment experiments, using 20-kg tar sand samples (Asphalt Ridge and Whiterocks, Utah) and kerosene as a diluent were carried out at the expected summer temperature (26°C) and the expected winter temperature (-14°C). The natural tar sand porosity accessible by diluent has a crucial impact on the reduction of bitumen viscosity and influences the penetration time required for successful bitumen separation from tar sand by hot water processing. Thus, the tar sand porosity is a critical variable that determines appropriate operating conditions. Experimental results indicate that diluent penetration into the Asphalt Ridge tar sand (high porosity) is almost complete after 30 min, whereas for the Whiterocks tar sand (low porosity) the penetration process is much slower, being still incomplete after 15 hours regardless of the ambient temperature.

Fluorapatite is an important constituent of the greater part of the basic and ultra-basic rock members of the Complex. The evidence for and role of primary magmatic processes in the development of concentric zones of dunite, pyroxenite, syenite and carbonatite and its consequent bearing on the distribution of apatite are discussed. The presence of at least two generations of each of the latter three rock types indicates the cyclical nature of magmatic activity. Pegmatitic-metasomatic phases corresponding to the major magmatic cycles resulted in emplacement of pegmatoidal assemblages. The abundance of apatite in the pegmatoid can be traced to the composition of its parent magma and its cooling history. Approximately 2.5 million tonnes of phosphate concentrate are produced annually from ores containing from 10 percent to 25 percent apatite.

Despite the recent pullback in metal and mineral prices, and the associated market adjustments, the mining industry is still facing a serious issue with the declining availability of graduate expertise. This is due to a combination of an aging workforce, retirements and retrenchments, coupled with a lack of suitably qualified graduates entering the workforce. The issue has certainly improved since 2004 when the industry picked up the rates of hiring graduate engineers and mining/mineral school enrollments picked up in response. This hiring effort has helped to cover the ?gap? years from about 1985-2000, when industry demand for graduates was particularly poor. However, the recent market pullback is likely to set back this progress, as recruitment and hiring wavers as a result of cost cutting measures and economic uncertainty. A key issue for the mining industry is how to ensure the survival and growth of relevant ?core? degree programs. Such programs include mining, metallurgical, mineral processing and geological engineering. The mining industry needs a healthy, high-level education program to ensure an adequate supply of appropriately qualified graduates for the mining industry. Two-thirds of the professionals entering the minerals industry who graduated within the past 40 years graduated prior to 1985. Since 1985, we have been living off the legacy of graduation classes from the mid-1970s and early 1980s. It is estimated that we have been producing graduates at approximately 40 to 50 percent of the sustaining rate since about 1985. Further growth in the domestic industry would increase graduate requirements significantly, and the export of U.S.-graduates to other parts of the world (as is currently occurring) also impacts the total graduate requirements.

One of the most important fundamental characteristics of iron ore pellets is their porosity. This importance arises from the fact that the pores are the busy avenues whereby many changes are brought about in the life and form of the pellet from the time it is made until the iron it contains emerges as a molten stream from the blast furnace. As a green iron ore pellet is first heated in the drying cycle of a typical heat-hardening process, the pores act as conduits to allow the escape of steam from the water or vapor from the oil which served as binders to hold the green pellet together. After the release of the steam (or oil vapor) the pores then act as conduits whereby oxygen can enter the pellets to 1) convert magnetite (Fe304) to hematite (Fe203), if appropriate, and 2) promote solid state grain growth between adjacent particles of iron ore. The rate of oxidation and the rate of grain growth are directly related to pore size&apos; and pore size distribution. Rate of oxidation is also directly influenced by length of pore and length of pore is obviously related to pellet diameter. It is well to keep in mind that the heat-hardening process does not harden the mineral grains themselves. What it does is weld them together to change the green pellet from a doughy mass, composed of thousands of tiny individual particles, into a strong, intergrown monolithic structure. In the blast furnace the pores again act as conduits for gases, but in this case they trans¬port reductants such as hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (C0) which remove most of the oxygen from the ore. Rate of reduction is also directly related to pore size and pore size distribution.

Hypersonic tunnel boring (HTB) uses directed, high velocity projectile impacts to remove rock. HTB is highly independent of rock strength and targets hard, abrasive rock and variable rock environments. This paper discusses history, theory and presents test (2×2 m and .75×.5 m tunnels) field trial results and technical and economic evaluation. The HTB tests are compared against the historic ‘project REAM’ and the concept against tunnel boring machines and drill & blast in design studies for full-scale 12 m and 4.5×5.5 m tunnels. The positive results indicate that under these conditions HTB can replace Drill & Blast and Tunnel Boring Machines.

There have been many improvements and advancements in the application of neural networks in the mining industry. In this study, two advanced deep learning neural networks called recurrent neural network (RNN) and autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) were implemented in the simulation and prediction of limestone price variation. The RNN uses long shortterm memory layers (LSTM), dropout regularization, activation functions, mean square error (MSE), and the Adam optimizer to simulate the predictions. The LSTM stores previous data over time and uses it in simulating future prices based on defined parameters and algorithms. The ARIMA model is a statistical method that captures different time series based on the level, trend, and seasonality of the data. The auto ARIMA function searches for the best parameters that fit the model. Different layers and parameters are added to the model to simulate the price prediction. The performance of both network models is remarkable in terms of trend variability and factors affecting limestone price. The ARIMA model has an accuracy of 95.7% while RNN has an accuracy of 91.8%. This shows that the ARIMA model outperforms the RNN model. In addition, the time required to train the ARIMA is than that of the RNN. Predicting limestone prices may help both investors and industries in making economical and technical decisions, for example, when to invest, buy, sell, increase, and decrease production.

The conversion of organic matter to petroleum by hydrothermal activity is an easy process, occurring in nature in many types of environments. Geologically immature organic matter of marine sediments is being altered by this process in Guaymas Basin (Gulf of California), Escanaba Trough and Middle Valley (northeast Pacific), Bransfield Strait (Antarctica), and Atlantis 11 and Kebrit Deeps (Red Sea). Contemporary organic detritus and viable microorganisms are also converted in part to petroleum-like products by the same process when present to become entrained, as for example on the East Pacific Rise at 13o N and 21o N and on the mid-Atlantic Ridge at 26oN. The hydrocarbon products (methane to asphalt) generated in all these areas have been elucidated in terms of composition, organic matter sources, and analogy to reservoir petroleum. This petroleum represents a major input of carbon to the primary chemosynthetic productivity of hydrothermal vent systems and may be important to interactions with metals in hydrothermal ore formation.

This paper describes the derivation of a set of simultaneous algebraic equations that can be solved to produce a rigorous theoretical mass balance around solution mining wells. This mass balance can then be compared with a mass balance calculated from field measurements to provide the percentage of mass balance closure. Significant deviations from the closure can be an indication that the wells are either gaining or losing circulation fluids. The equations also provide calculations for the amount of water and dissolved mineral that accumulates in the well during the mining process, as well as the net mining rate. Equations for both single mineral mining and multiple mineral mining are discussed. They can easily be formatted into spread sheets for rapid calculation of field measurement data.

Tunnel boring machine (TBM) tunneling is an ever-increasing prospect for underground construction, and, with each new tunnel bored, there are unknown elements. When boring through the earth, even extensive geotechnical baseline reports can miss fault lines, water inflows, squeezing ground, rock bursting and other types of extreme conditions. This article draws on the consider-able field service experience within Robbins to analyze successful methods of dealing with the most challenging conditions encountered. Many tunnel projects are located in areas with relatively poor access along the tunnel alignment and bored under extremely high overburden. These two factors often result in limited geological information. It would be reason-able to state that the deeper the tunnel, the greater the lev-el of uncertainties. When faced with these uncertainties everyone involved with the project including the owner, the contractor and the machine supplier must be prepared to tackle geological surprises. This article describes the problematic geological conditions and associated difficulties faced on three separate projects and the measures that were taken to overcome these difficulties.

In this paper, the results of bench scale testing of five different flotation processes to separate dolomite from phosphate are discussed. The effectiveness of each process interms of phosphate recovery and MgO content in the concentrate is used together with the reagent consumption as the basis of comparison. The water quality is found to play a major role in the performance of these processes. Effect of water hardness as well as other parameters are discussed.

The ability of wireless systems—e.g., voice communication, proximity detection, tele-remote operation, telemetry, etc.—to function satisfactorily (coexist) in the presence of other wireless systems is critical to the safety and health of mine workers. The failure of wireless systems to coexist could result in the delay, corruption, or outright loss, of critical data, voice, or video information. However, no mining-sector-specific regulations, standards, or guidelines exist to ensure the safe coexistence of wireless systems. This paper introduces the concept of wireless coexistence, implications in the mining industry, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s (NIOSH’s) research approach to develop guidelines and recommendations to ensure safe wireless coexistence.

In-situ leaching of uranium by aqueous ammonium carbonate containing oxygen or hydrogen peroxide as oxidant results in the partial dissolution of sulfides. While some of the sulfide sulfur is oxidized to sulfate, a considerable portion is oxidized only to thiosulfate and polythionates. Polythionates poison the anion exchange resin used to extract uranium. At the Palangana operation in southeast Texas, the trithionate ion (S3062-) was found by infrared spectrometry to be the major resin poison. Treatment of ion exchange feed solutions with hydrogen peroxide only resulted in partial conversion of reduced sulfur species to sulfate, and trithionate conversion was particularly slow. Poisoning of the resin also occurred from the ammonium chloride eluant, which built up trithionate because of recycling. This was essentially eliminated by chlorinating the eluant prior to yellow cake precipitation.

Sodium silicate(s), also known as “water glass”, are one of the oldest and most widely used industrial chemicals. Its first use in North American mining operations can be traced back to around 1925, which coincided with early use of xanthates in mineral flotation. Silicate functions as a sulphide and non-sulphide gangue mineral dispersant, depressant and modifying reagent in grinding and flotation operations. It is believed that soluble sodium silicate promotes selectivity of value added sulphides against gangue minerals, resulting in both grade and recovery improvement. This paper seeks to link improved grade/recovery to the interaction characteristics of minerals and the sodium silicate. A systematic study was performed with individual mineral species, an artificially designed model ore and the feed ore from a copper metallurgical operation. The function of sodium silicate was evaluated in the context of colloidal chemistry and linked to mineral surface chemistry. Measurement of pulp rheology and mineral zeta potential identified that sodium silicate works as a dispersant. The dispersion is accomplished by increasing a mineral’s net surface charge, resulting in a mineral variable change in viscosity. Bench scale laboratory flotation tests suggest that better dispersion leads to a diminished interaction of chalcopyrite with gangue. The improved Cu grade and recovery then are likely in response to an increased accessibility to collector along with a linked increase in particle bubble attachment resulting in better separation efficiency. ToF-SIMS surface chemical analysis of the flotation samples found a higher proportion of sodium silicate on minerals from the flotation tailings relative to the concentrates. Moreover, attachment of sodium silicate appears to be mineral specific; the data indicates that sodium silicate favours the surface of gangue phases over the value sulphides. INTRODUCTION Mineral processing involves enrichment of valuable minerals from an ore, where the separation process utilizes differences between the properties of the value-added and gangue minerals. The properties of minerals, for example composition, specific gravity, particle size, magnetic properties etc., in any flotation feed ore, can vary significantly between the various minerals present. In flotation seperation surface chemistry and wettability is a significant component promoting selective separation of the various mineral phases [1,2] Mineral surface wettability can be changed, advantageously or deleteriously, by many factors including: surface layer alteration through oxidation; galvanic interactions; attachment of secondary precipitates; the adsorption of various reagents [3] In the flotation context the wettability of a minerals surface can be manipulated by various reagents. Collector reagents may selectively attach to specific minerals in the mineral/water slurry enhancing their surface hydrophobicity, increasing bubble-attachment efficiency and improve flotation kinetics and mineral recovery [4]. In contrast, depressant reagents may selectively reduce a minerals surface hydrophobicity resulting in poor particle-bubble attachment and non flotation. In essence, a mineral flotation flow sheet is designed to induce/promote a hydrophobic surface to the value mineral and a hydrophilic surface to all others. Therefore, the versatility of the froth flotation process lies in the selection of different flotation reagents.

Environmental laws and regulations have proliferated over the last two decades. 1/ Within the last year, Congress has dramatically expanded the scope of the Superfund program 2/ and has enacted significant new amendments to the Clean Water Act.3/ In addition, EPA has shown no signs of slackening the pace at which it promulgates new regulations to implement statutory programs. The concept of mobile crushers is not new. Since their introduction about twenty-five years ago, mobile crushers have continued to gain widespread attention. Mobile crushers reduce minerals in the open pit mine to sizes which can be transported by belt conveyors thereby reducing or eliminating the need for truck haulage. Truck haulage is costly, often representing as much as 50% of the total mining cost. More than 80% of the cost of truck haulage is for fuel and lubricants, tire replacements, and operators&apos; wages, and it can be anticipated that the cost of these items will continue to increase at a steady pace. Compared to truck haulage, transportation by belt conveyor is more energy-efficient, less labor-intensive, and less subject to inflation. Separation of geochemical anomalies from background is an important and essential issue in the exploration of mineral deposits. Statistical methods are used to separation of anomaly from background. Fractal/multifractal and singularity methods are very suitable for the separation of weak anomalies. For interpolation, various methods could be used such as most distance-weighting methods, kriging, spline interpolation, interpolating polynomials, and finite difference methods. This paper addressed application of multifractal techniques together with finite difference procedure to detect the anomalous regions. Fractal models such as concentration–area, spectrum–area, and singularity index model were selected to identify Pb–Zn anomalies. In this research, 170 samples from 33 boreholes were taken in the Haft-Savaran area and analyzed for determination of Pb–Zn anomaly. Singularity method was a suitable method for separating Pb and Zn anomalies. Also, the results showed that the geochemical anomaly has occurred along NE–SW trend and is consistent with the sulfide mineralization process and the faults of the region.
