Extensive exploration for uranium metal by the Department of Atomic Energy in India led to the discovery of new carbonate host rock uranium deposits Tummalapalle and Gogi, which are located in southern part of India. Alkaline leaching at elevated temperature and pressure using autoclave is the central unit process in the overall strategy for extraction of uranium from these new ore deposits. Autoclave leaching is affected largely by intrinsic nature of the ore and by the process variables and the equipment settings. In order to understand such a complex process and also to be able to predict the process performance under randomly (ore grade, uranium mineralogy, gangue mineralogy etc.) and consciously perturbed variable settings (partial pressure of oxygen, temperature, concentration of leachant, stirring speed and time), sound and robust mathematical models are needed with analytical and/or numerical solutions. Present investigation attempts to develop a variant of kinetic correlation based on shrinking core model for batch alkaline leaching process in an autoclave. The leaching model incorporates particle size distribution according to popular Gates-Gaudin-Schuhmann equation, rather than assuming a single mean size for all the particles participating in the leaching reaction. Kinetic experimental data generated in autoclave leaching of Gogi uranium ore was used to evaluate various constants of the model developed. The ore sample used for experiments assayed 0.21 per cent U3O8. The partial pressure of oxygen was varied between 0.15 to 6.5 atm, temperature from 343 K to 438 K, concentration of sodium carbonate leachant in the range 0.47 g mol/L to 0.94 g mol/L, and the stirring speed from 573 rev/min to 900 rev/min in the experiments. The goodness of fit of the leaching process model is found to be >0.95. Morphological studies carried out on leached and unleached particulate matter using Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive X ray analyses are included in the present study.

Sillimanite, chemically named Aluminum silicate, 3Al2O3SiO2 is one of the three forms of alumino silicate polymorphs and commonly encountered in aluminous metamorphic, plutonic, and volcanic rocks and their weathering products. Most of the sillimanite deposits are granular and are of high grade available in coastal areas as associated mineral along with Titanium bearing minerals namely ilmenite, rutile etc. Sillimanite is one of the widely accepted raw materials for the manufacture of high alumina refractories (55-60 % alumina) or bricks. Sillimanite based refractory bricks are used for the lining of Blast furnaces, Arc furnaces, Soaking pits, Reheating furnaces of iron and steel, rotary kilns for cement manufacturing and general kilns for lime production. Considering the vast potential of unexploited sillimanite reserves in India, M/s Trimex Sands Pvt. Ltd., (TSPL)has set up a Mineral Sand Processing plant in 2010 at Andhra Pradesh with a capacity to produce about 50,000 tons of sillimanite per annum besides the production of various heavy minerals such as ilmenite, rutile, zircon and garnet. Traditionally in India, sillimanite is upgraded by froth flotation technique using Oleic acid as a collector cum frother, sodium silicate as depressant and soda ash as pH regulator. At TSPL, Conventional mechanical float cells are installed to float sillimanite. In addition to the usual problems associated with conventional cells, poor flow ability of the sillimanite concentrate is experienced in dry circuit due to the presence of sodium oleate. Fine garnet in the sillimanite concentrate contributes to high iron content in the final product, making sillimanite separation a nightmare for operators (lower recoveries coupled with inferior grades). Various efforts were made to improve the performance of the circuit such as introduction of additional frother like MIBC, optimizing the operating parameters such as pulp density, collector dosage, depressant dosage, air flow rate, pH etc., use of collector aids, stage wise addition of reagents etc. The challenges faced to produce a sillimanite product with stringent quality norms and the efforts made to improve the grade and recovery are described in this paper. A detailed study was undertaken to beneficiate sub-grade iron ore sample from Kenojhar District, Orissa, India containing 57% Fe (T), 7.7% SiO2, 4.8% Al2O3, 4 % L.O.I. 0.4% TiO2,1.3 % Mn and traces of S(T) to make it suitable for the user industry. The mineralogical study indicated that it predominantly consists of haematite with subordinate amounts of goethite and clay. Quartz, Cryptomelane / Psilomelane, Pyrolusite, Gibbsite, Feldspar and Muscovite mica were present in very minor to trace amounts. The Denver grind ability tests indicated, that the sample could be categorized as ?medium soft to medium.? The Bond ball mill work index was determined to be 14.19 kwh per short ton. The beneficiation process involved classification followed by tabling of the classified sand, ground to minus 48 mesh size. The table slimes were subjected to Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator (WHIMS). The developed process yielded a composite concentrate from tabling and WHIMS operations assaying 65% Fe(T), 2% SiO2, 1.8% Al2O3, 2% Mn and 0.9% LOI with a recovery of 60.1% Fe (T), amounting to 52.5 wt.% yield. To meet the size specifications for pellet making, it was further ground. Dewatering studies were also carried out on the ground combined concentrate and rejects. The thickener area of ground combined concentrate using 0.02 kg/t of Sufloc A 1115 flocculant was 0.02 m2/tonne of dry solids per 24 h. And for the combined rejects using 0.12 kg/t of flocculant, it was 0.035 m2/tonne of dry solids per 24 h. The moisture content, in the pressure filtration cake, in the ground combined concentrate product was 10.0%, and productivity was 506.7 kg/m2h. Thus, by thickening and filtration of process products, 90% of water used in the process could be recovered. The study highlights the development of a simple and cost effective flowsheet with almost complete water recovery for a subgrade iron ore sample. Keywords: tabling, WHIMS, thickener, filtration

Mining activities belong to human history, they are lost in the mists of time. They usually impact on large portions of the territory, both directly (exploitation areas and logistic activities directly related to exploitation) and indirectly (exploited material handling, processing and storage areas). As a result, at the end of mine life cycle, dismissed areas usually cannot be directly re-utilized without efficient and well addressed rehabilitation actions. Main goal of the proposed approach was to analyze the results obtained when a set of procedures, based on the collection and the analysis of remote sensed data, is developed to evaluate the effect of rehabilitation of land contaminated by extractive industry activities and to perform a monitoring and registration of the environmental impact of such operations by the application and the integration of modern information technologies, as Earth Observation (EO) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The study was developed in the framework of the EU-Asia program of the European union (EXTRACT-IT Project-Contract No: CN/ASIA IT&C/006 (89870): Application of Information Technologies for the sustainable management of Extractive industry activities) and it was addressed to three different dismissed mine areas in India, Thailand and China, respectively. The results, in terms of methodologies selected, strategies applied and results obtained, are described with particular reference to Fuxin coal mine area in China.

This investigation was carried out with low grade Murgul-Cakmakkaya copper ore once used to be dumped away as waste material. Sulphide minerals in the ore sample observed are chalcopyrite, pyrite, sphalerite and to some extent molibdenite; quartz, calcite and dolomite are the gangue minerals. The ore sample assays 0.28% Cu, 2.94% Fe and 3.36% S. Mineralogical study of the ore sample showed that adequate liberation of chalcopyrite for flota-tion was achieved below 100 µm. In flotation tests Aerophine 3418-A was the collector employed, NaOH or Ca(OH)2were the pH modifiers. Deactivators used were sodium meta bi-sulphide, starch, dextrin and lime. MIBC was the frother used throughout the tests. Test results showed that starch alone was the most suitable depressant to give the optimum metal content and recovery val-ues. Activated charcoal was used to adsorb excess collector species in the flotation pulp during cleaning stages After two stages cleaning of the rougher concentrate using starch as the depressant a copper concentrate assaying 21.2% Cu was obtained with 79.5% recovery while the tailings contained 0.01% Cu and metal losses were about 3%

"The adsorption of xanthate takes place at a different potential on each major sulfide mineral, hence, as it was demonstrated in the past, each mineral component can be selectively separated from ore under well controlled potential conditions. In real flotation this concept never works out for two reasons: the potential of single mineral particle results from complex surface reactions controlled by solution chemistry, and there is a galvanic interaction between different mineral particles present in the flotation pulp.In this study the formation of amyl xanthate hydrophobic products on pyrite, galena and chalcopyrite has been spectroscopically investigated in the presence of combinations of these minerals. The type of the adsorbed species and their amount were determined directly on mineral surfaces by infrared external reflection technique. Galvanic contact between grains of two different minerals has tremendous consequence on the adsorption of collector on both minerals. The detected changes are dramatic, from no adsorption to a coverage formation of a few monolayers. The results obtained indicate clearly that the observations and conclusions about the collector adsorption, hence also the surface hydrophobization, made for a single mineral system does not describe the real situation in a multi-component mineral system such as flotation pulp."

"Mineral comminution is often a costly process which also requires high level of energy. In the course of the studies carried out by the researchers of the Department of Civil-Environmental Engineering and Architecture at the University of Cagliari, aiming at the optimization of the reduction processes, it has been experimented, among of others, the effects of high-speed water jets on minerals grinding. As far as coal is concerned, some of the solutions initially adopted are presented in this paper, which essentially relied on the water jet power only, with secondary use of mechanical actions, to reach the most modern solutions that envisage the use of mechanical energy, normally used in traditional grinding machines, in synergy with hydraulic energy transferred by water jet.INTRODUCTION Mineral comminution can be rather expensive and demand a high-energy consumption, especially for fine sizes (Austin, 1979). Further interesting perspectives in this area may be offered by comminution means aided by high pressure water jets (Ciccu 2007), whose crushing potential is currently used for several operations such as cutting different materials, rock digging and industrial cleaning. The crushing action of water jets may induce a traction stress in materials where substances of a mineral nature, especially if characterised by permeable porosity, oppose a minor resistance (Griffith, 1920). The first solutions to this purpose essentially relied on the sole energy of water jets, with a secondary use of mechanical actions (Ciccu, 1993). Results were encouraging, despite the high values of specific energy for the low capacity of treatment. However, due to the difficulty in making the techniques mainly based on hydraulic energy practically applicable to solids comminution a solution was experimented, with some interesting results, consisting in the combination of mechanical energy, normally used in traditional grinding devices, with hydraulic energy transferred through water jets, in a synergic relationship (Ciccu, 1998; Tilocca, 2016)."

The chelating reagents are used as effective collectors in wolframite flotation, and certain metal cations need to be added using chelating collectors so as to activate valuable minerals and obtain good flotation indexes. Different metal cations will result in different reactivity with collectors, in order to select the effective activator in BHA flotation of wolframite, the activation effectiveness of different metal cations on wolframite ((Fe,Mn)WO4) flotation were studied using pure minerals. The results showed that the wolframite activation by Pb2+was the best among the selected cations. The maximum flotation recovery of wolframite was found to be 95.58 % under conditions of 100mg/LBHA and 1×10-4mol/L of Pb2+at pH 9. The dosage of Pb2+needs to be controlled in an optimum range. Also, the activation mechanism of Pb2+ on BHA flotation of wolframite was investigated by measurements of contact angle, zeta potential, adsorption capacity and IR spectroscopy. It was found that Pb2+ could chemically adsorb onto the wolframite surface improving the flotability of wolframite and enhancing the adsorption of BHA on wolframite. When the dosages of BHA and Pb2+ were 100 mg/L and 1×10-4 mol/L, the adsorption quantity of BHA on wolframite sharply increased up to 0.30 mg/L at pH 9 compared with wolframite treated with only BHA.

At the regrind or secondary grinding stages of base metal ores, the concern about energy efficiency is usually extremely important. In general, the specific energy consumption at this stage is higher than during the primary grinding stages. In addition, a tendency of finer grinding has been observed in the new projects of metallic minerals, due to the finer mineral liberation, which leads to increasing capital and operational costs. At Vale?s new copper projects in Brazil, regrind sizes with a P80 of approximately 40 to 20 µm have been necessary. Conventional ball mills, adequate for primary grinding, usually bring about low energy efficiency with products bellow 50 µm. Vale is using the vertical mill on its copper projects ? Sossego and Salobo, in order to optimize the regrind of rougher concentrates and reduce energy consumption. This paper presents the results of industrial surveys carried out on the Vertical mill circuits of Sossego plant during its initial years of operation, and compares these results with the design criteria and laboratory regrind tests used for the mill scale up. As a kind of complex physicochemical process, grinding would affect the subsequent mineral processing such as flotation considerably. In this study, the effect of wet grinding on malachite and calcite flotation using sodium oleate as collector was studied. And the mechanism of the effect of grinding was investigated. Laboratory scale grinding and flotation testing of malachite and calcite samples were performed. Different grinding media were used, including steel balls and zirconia balls. It was the aim of this work to study the effect of grinding on the pulp chemistry paying particular attention to flotation recovery. The effect of grinding media and different addition location of sodium oleate on malachite and calcite flotation was studied. The methodology used in this project involved grinding the ore with and without the addition of sodium oleate in mill, measuring the pH and metal ions produced by minerals after grinding, adding various quantities of sodium oleate and determining the copper recovery. The presence of species of products on the minerals after grinding was probed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and the metal ions produced by minerals after grinding were measured by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). It is showed that the mil-ling environments evaluated significantly affected the flotation of malachite and calcite. This study also discusses the effecting mechanism of grinding environment on floatability of malachite and calcite.

"Recovery and grade of the ore produced are two important metrics, which define the profitability of a mineral processing plant. Achieving high grade and high recovery at the same time in a mineral processing plant is difficult due to conflicting nature of the two objectives. To explore the operability limits of the plant operations and find the set of operating conditions that can help achieve the best possible recovery and grade, there is a need to solve a multi-objective optimization (MOO) problem. Past research focused on building a plant-wide simulation model or on optimization of individual units or a part of a mineral processing plant like grinding circuit, crushing circuit, etc. However, it is necessary to consider optimization of the complete plant in order to optimize the plant performance. Here, we have formulated the mineral processing plant performance optimization as a MOO problem. We have applied machine-learning algorithms such as random forest to build models to predict the recovery and grade of the ore. A non-dominated sorting-based multi-objective evolutionary algorithm called NSGA-II (Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II) was employed to solve the MOO problem. Since the number of parameters that influence recovery and grade are quite large, we have applied machine-learning algorithms for feature selection or identification of key process variables. Pareto optimal conditions were determined for manipulated variables like grinding mill throughput, speed ratio at SAG mill, speed of centrifugal pump, water addition at different locations etc. The results obtained are useful in identifying the operability of a mineral processing plant to achieve the optimum grade and recovery for a given feed grade and the processing circuit. INTRODUCTION Copper is majorly mined or extracted as copper sulfides from large open pit mines in porphyry copper deposits. Among all the available ores, sulfides are the most commercial ores, especially chalcopyrite (Greenwood and Alan, 1997). Copper grade in these ores generally lies between 0.4 to 1.0%. In order to perform smelting operation, the grade of copper has to be improved to around 30% (Biswas et al. 2013). This targeted copper grade is achieved through two stages of mineral processing. Firstly, the copper in the ore has to be liberated by crushing the mineral rock. Secondly, the liberated copper in the crushed ore is then physically separated from other minerals like nickel by froth flotation techniques."

In a first stage of our investigations material properties of fly ash (three acidic and one alkaline type originating from combustion of various age coal) obtained from four various dumps have been characterized. In a next step systematic mechanical activation experiments??grinding??and measurements have been performed with various ashes to establish relations between grinding fineness (specific surface area), specific work input demand of grinding and activity. In a third phase utilization of a mixture of mechanically activated fly ash and lime for producing an independent binding composition has been assessed involving determination of interrelationship(s) between the degree of activation of fly ash, the lime concentration and the resultant strength of the obtained concrete. Finally, pilot size experiments were conducted and a test road section was built to explore possibilities for the production of suitable binding composition from the mixture of fly ash and lime as well as the applicability such mixture for road construction. After summarizing major achievements of the first and second stages of the work (history) the present study deals with the research conducted in stages three and four. Experimental results support the conclusion that the obtained binding material is suitable for construction of road bedding.

Newmont Batu Hijau operates with an accelerated mining rate to optimize life of mine (LOM) project economics. This results in a portion of ore mined being stockpiled for reclaim and processing throughout, and at the end of mine life. LOM economics can be further enhanced by preserving stockpiled ore value by mitigating oxidation effects. A detailed stockpile ore oxidation study was conducted to: ?? Develop a practical understanding of how oxidation affects ore value; ?? Determine how oxidation rate can be controlled, and; ?? Determine how oxidation effects can be mitigated to preserve ore value. The result of the study is a stockpile management strategy that significantly reduces oxidation related losses and, implementation of that strategy within practical constraints. Implementation includes installation of Controlled Potential Sulfidisation (CPS) flotation to facilitate oxidised sulfide copper recovery and, recovery of dissolved copper from stockpile drainage solution into saleable product. This paper describes the study results including managing and predicting stockpile oxidation with time, monitoring performance of implemented CPS flotation and recovery of dissolved copper from stockpile drainage. These are essential elements of successful long term mine operation in Batu Hijau.

Germany-made AFX-100 multi-grade fluidized classifier, with exquisite built-in structure and unique novel design, materializes not only advanced and efficient classification, but also precise particle distribution and safe operation, in addition to lower energy consumption and operational cost. It, simultaneously in place of screw grader, water cyclone, and fine mesh sieve, is equipped with multi-function, and indicates superior advantage in comparison with other else grading facilities. As the third-generation equipment, which is efficient and modern, it, in China and therefore all over the world, will find wide application in processing both fine and ultra-fine iron ore resources. Industrial test, carried out in Benxi Steel?s Waitoushan Iron Mine, shows efficient classification, i.e., ?74µm particle contents in coarse, medium and fine products come to 6.09%,11.82% and 82.73%, respectively, while qualitative and quantitative efficiencies end up by 74.38% and 87.66%, respectively. Its separation efficiencies amount to 2.2 times as many as spiral classifiers, 1.8 times as hydrocyclones, and 1.3 times as vibration high-frequency fine screens. Another industrial test, which was practiced in Anshan Steel?s Donganshan Sinter Plant, indicates that classification qualitative efficiency comes to 65.06%, equal to 1.51 times as many as hydrocyclones; yield, 55.79%; -71µm particle contents in medium and coarse products, 42.02%; -71µm content in fine product, 95.42%; and concentration, 12.33%. Estimated separation indexes are as follows: Yield for concentrate at 31.22%, up 0.22% than that from general processing line; concentrate grade at 66.42%, up 1.13%; recovery ratio comes to 65.84%, up 1.28%, which, based on pilot study, results in 20 million yuan of economic return for Donganshan Floatation Plant.

Forward-looking companies actively manage these risks by creating a sense of shared purpose with the countries and communities that own the resources, using tools such as stakeholder analysis, local narratives, scenario planning, and constituency engagement. They also measure socio-economic impact to insure the creation and demonstration of shared value.

"High alumina content in the Indian iron ore fines (2.5% Al2O3) resulted in poor quality pellets at the recently commissioned 6 MTPA pelletizing plant and a study was under taken to establish suitable pellet chemistry through proper fluxing agents. Limestone fluxed pellets were prepared at varying basicity (0 to 0.8) and pyroxenite fluxed pellets at varying MgO contents (0 to 3%) to study their effect on the metallurgical properties. Fired pellets were tested for their strength, RDI, reducibility and swelling. Microstructural studies, optical and SEM-EDS, were carried out to quantify different phases and their chemistry. Acid pellets exhibited poor quality whereas limestone pellets at 0.8 basicity and pyroxenite pellets at 1.5% MgO exhibited optimum metallurgical quality. Formation of widely distributed silicate melt in limestone pellets and high melting point slag & magnesioferrite in pyroxenite pellets found to improve their quality. However during commercial production of MgO bearing pyroxenite pellets, their room temperature and low temperature properties found to be inferior, but exhibited better high temperature properties, viz. softening-melting behavior. Contrary to this, commercially produced limestone pellets, comprising CaO, exhibited better strength and RDI but showed poor high temperature properties. To yield the benefits of both CaO (for good strength and RDI) and MgO (for low swelling and high softening), a dual flux combination was established by using both limestone and pyroxenite/olivine together that resulted in optimum metallurgical properties. Coke rate at the blast furnaces found to be reduced by 1kg for every1% increase of dual flux pellets in the burden.INTRODUCTION Iron ore agglomerate quality plays a vital role in decreasing the reducing agent consumption and increasing the productivity of blast furnace. In most of the integrated steel works, the burden mix for blast furnace is decided as per the availability of the iron ore agglomerates like sinter and pellets. More attention has been given in recent years to the use of fluxed pellets in blast furnace due to their good strength and improved reducibility, swelling and softening melting characteristics. Generally, quality of pellets is influenced by the nature of ore or concentrate, associated gangue, type and amount of fluxes added and their subsequent treatment to produce pellets. These factors in turn result in the variation of physicochemical properties of the coexisting phases and their distribution during pellet induration. Hence properties of the pellets are largely governed by the form and degree of bonding achieved between ore particles and the stability of these bonding phases during reduction of iron oxides (Panigraphy et al., 1990). It is important to note that conditions and parameters of pelletizing are specific to given ore or concentrate; the present study is undertaken for typical Indian hematite ore fines high in alumina. Except authors earlier work on quality of pellets from Indian iron ore (Dwarapudi et al., 2008, 2010), there is no considerable literature reported on the effect of pellet basicity and MgO content in the basicity range of 0 to 0.8 for Indian hematite ore."

The main purpose of present study was to characterize the dissolution of uranium from low-grade black shale with indigenous isolated strain of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans (BSAF-01). The nature of shale is quartzite-schistose and contains uranium content of 0.005% U3O8 (50 ppm U3O8). Uranium is present in the tetravalent oxidation state (U4+) in the shale matrix. The main minerals identified are graphite, quartz, pyrite, mica minerals (phlogopite, biotite, sericite, and chlorite), microcline, K-feldspar and kerogen (hydrocarbon-compounds). Bacterial oxidation of pyrite was an acid-generating system and produced sulfuric acid and ferric sulfate during this biological phenomenon. A series of bioleaching experiments were conducted in shake flasks for leaching of uranium from black shale. The leaching experiments were performed at 50% pulp density using indigenous Fe- and S-oxidizing bacterium (Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans). Bioleaching data revealed that about 90% ~ 95% U3O8 was leached out from black shale ore. Uranium dissolution from shale depends on pH (pH 1.5~1.9), redox potential (=500 mev) and the concentration of Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions in the leaching environment. The oxidative leaching of U4+ involves a redox reaction with Fe3+ as an oxidant and bacterial re-oxidation of Fe2+ in acidic leaching environment. Uranium leaching efficiency was attributed to the sulfuric acid and ferric sulfate production during bacterial oxidation of pyrite.

Considerable attention has been, and is being, given to the physics of water-films associated with bubble interactions at surfaces. In contrast, little information on the chemistry of such films has been reported. This communication reports a method using sum frequency vibrational spectroscopy (SFVS) to describe hydrogen bonding of interfacial water molecules in water films created with bubbles at hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces. The SFVS spectra of water films at hydrophilic silica surfaces differ significantly from the spectra of water at a hydrophobic silica surface. The SFVS spectra indicate that a very ordered water structure exists in water films at the hydrophilic silica surface during contact with a bubble and that the extent of hydrogen bonding increases with an increase in contact pressure. Such structural considerations as well as repulsive electrostatic and Van der Waals forces account for film stability for a bubble at the hydrophilic silica surface. In contrast, the SFVS spectra of water at a hydrophobic silica surface show a lack of hydrogen bonding and are characterized by a distinct absorption at about 3700 cm-1 similar to the spectrum of the air/water interface. These results suggest the presence of a water void, or water exclusion zone, at the hydrophobic surface, as supported by X-ray reflectivity measurements reported in the literature, by atomic force microscopy, and by the results from molecular dynamics simulations. Of course the water film at the hydrophobic surface is unstable with film thinning and rupture upon bubble contact. Under these circumstances it is shown that an attractive Van der Waals force between the bubble and the hydrophobic surface can be expected when the water exclusion zone is taken into consideration. As the thickness of the water exclusion zone increases to a thickness corresponding to the size of nano bubbles, the calculated attractive Van der Waals force increases. The Republic of Tajikistan has large mercury-antimony deposit. The Republic takes the second place in the countries of the CIS by having antimony recourses or the fourth place in the world. Recently, on the mine bottom horizons the resources of gold were found. Gold in the data ore is submitted as nanosize particles. Results of ores enrichment of bottom horizons of Djijikrut deposit are obtained by a method of flotation. The flow sheet includes the rougher flotation, two scavenging flotation and two cleaner flotation. As a result of enrichment of ore, the mercury-antimony concentrate with the contents of 51.5% of antimony and recovery 90.3% from ore with the content of mercury of 3.5% was received. The investigation of thallium, selenium, and tellurium distributions on products of enrichment was carried out. The most effective reagents are a mixture of oksafore and butyl xanthogenate. While applying this mixture of reagents it is possible to refuse of the use of activator - nitrate lead. The behavior of gold is in details investigated during enrichment. To collective flotation concentrate is extracted only 30% of gold. The basic quantity of gold concentrates in tailings of flotation and is not taken by existing traditional methods. The alternative innovative technology of gold extraction was created. Various methods of roasting of a collective mercury - antimony concentrate oxidizing and reducing are investigated. Vacuum distillation of concentrate allocation in serial sublimates mercury and antimony was designed. In the received calcine concentrates gold. At additional roasting of a calcine up to 900°? concentration of gold makes 30.6 g/t. The offered innovational technology in a complex allows to process ores and concentrates unique mercury-antimony?gold bearing raw material.
