"The Monkman Coal Property is located in the Northeast Coal Block of British Columbia. It is divided into the Duke Mountain Block on the north east and the Dip Slope on the west. Together, these areas cover 39,503 ha of coal licences.The property is underlain by Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous marine and continental sedimentary rocks. Economic coal measures are contained within the Gates Formation. Exploration of the property began in the early I970s, with drilling commencing in 1975. To date, 255 holes have been drilled and nine adits have been driven to recover unoxidized coal samples.The property has a geological resource potential of 2.8 billion tonnes of medium and high-volatile bituminous coal. Medium-volatile bituminous reserves, totalling 68.9 million ROM tonnes at an over-all strip ratio of 6.3:1, have been identified in three pit areas in the Duke Mountain Block.Construction start-up will commence when sales contracts are arranged. Quintette Coal Ltd. has a contract with Japanese steel mills to supply annually 5.0 million tonnes of metallurgical and 1.5 million tonnes of thermal coal. Teck Corporation (Bullmoose property) has a contract to supply 1.7 million tonnes of metallurgical coal annually."

"IntroductionDevelopments in the preparation, hydraulic transportation and placement of classified mill tailing as an effective backfill and support for mining excavations, have made feasible several advancements in mining methods that are safer and more economical. Hydraulic backfill systems have played an integral part in the development of more efficient cut-and-fill and blasthole stoping.The hydraulic transportation of tailing fill has made possible the elimination of expensive and laborious transportation, placement and spreading of gravel type fills. Also, in cut-andfill stopes, the use of hydraulically placed consolidated fill has largely eliminated the need to use extensive timbering for floors and supports, previously necessary when only gravel type, waste rock or unconsolidated tailing fill was used .Another important advantage of using mill tailing as backfill is that it decreases the need to contain a large portion of the mill solids waste in a surface disposal area and thus reduces environmental and ecological problems.Tailing Fill PropertiesConsolidated tailing fill consists of deslimed mill tailing and Portland cement. These two materials are mixed together in various proportions to form a high density slurry which is transferred underground by gravity through boreholes and pipelines. After placement underground, the water is drained off and the mixture is allowed to set. The strength of the consolidated fill is dependent on the cement content, particle size distribution and curing time. A typical tailing/ cement ratio used for bulk filling in stopes requiring vertical wall support is 30:1. Ratios ranging from 8:1 to 5: 1 are used for stope floors. High pulp densities minimize segregation and loss of cement during placement as well as reduce the amount of drainage water to be handled."

THE mines of the Consolidated Copper and Sulphur Company, consisting of the Eust1s, the Albert, and the Capel mines, are situated w Ascot township, Quebec, about ten miles southeast of Sherbrooke, on the main line of the Quebec Central railway. Of these mines, only the Eustis is now producing, and it has been operated almost continuously for the past seventy years. Mining methods have been improved in recent years but are still old fashioned when compared with those employed in more modern and up-to-date mines. The ore is of milling grade and is mined for its copper and sulphur con-tent. Silver is present in small quantity, together with a trace of gold. The ore is mined by the shrinkage stope method. Pillars are frequently left as supports for the hanging-wall to prevent serious dilution of the ore and are sometimes recovered after the ore is drawn from the stope. Occasionally, small blacks of ore in close proximity to the shaft are mined by a cut-and-fill method. HISTORY ALBERT AND CAPEL MINES: The Albert and the Capel mines, originally known as the Capelton mine, were discovered in 1863 by George Capel (1). By the end of 1866 the Albert shaft had been sunk to a depth of 121 feet on an incline of about 30 degrees where a vein five feet thick was encountered. In 1879, these mines passed into the hands of G. H. Nichols and Company, by whom they were operated practically continuously until 1907. When mining operations ceased in that year, the shafts had reached depths on the incline of approximately 2,300 feet and 1,000 feet, respectively. These mines have been allowed to cave and fill with water and have been inaccessible for many years.

"Economics of wear in mining industry and methods by which wear cost may be reduced will be discussed.IntroductionCanada loses more than $5 billion annually due to friction and wear (Table 1). It is estimated that about $1.3 billion, or about 25% of the losses, could be saved through better application of existing technology (Table 2). It should be noted that the costs given in Table 1 and 2 refer to 1986. The losses due to friction and wear and the savings would be much higher in 1996. Tribology combines the many branches and specialties in science and technology concerned with understanding and combatting friction and wear. Specifically, tribology is concerned with the design and manufacture of sliding and rolling bearings, piston rings, gears, cutting tools and other devices in which surfaces interact, in sliding or other relative motion. Tribology is concerned with the correct use of materials for interacting solid surfaces, with the interaction of the surfaces with the lubricants, with the chemistry, physics and use of lubricants. It is concerned with the reduction of friction and wear and the avoidance of associated failures in machinery. Similar tribological components such as bearings are used in different technologies and similar tribological problems such as abrasive wear occur in different industries. Thus, tribology is in itself a generic science and technology, concerned with the generation and dissemination of knowledge on friction, wear and lubrication, and the application of the knowledge, to a wide range of industrial products and equipment, from ploughs to space equipment, from prosthesis to engines, from washing machines to railways, from computers to power stations, from paper mills to mines. THE state of development of its iron and steel industries serves as a 1eading index to the general condition of a nation's business affairs. In this paper, the authors present an economic study of the progress of this group of industries in Canada for the decade 1927-1936. The statistical data and most of the tables which accompany this article have been com-piled by John Casey, Statistician, Bureau of Mines; the text and some of the computations have been prepared by the seni0r author. The principal source of statistical information has been the publications of the Dominion Bureau of Statistics; where other sources have been consulted, they are noted in the text. All weights are given in short tons. Records for the years 1913 and 1918 are also presented in the group of tables dealing with iron ore and pig iron; they will serve as a basis for comparison with nearly normal years in the two decades prior to 1927-36, which included the abnorma1 years of the Great War. GENERAL REVIEW At the beginning of the decade under review, this group of industries had returned to almost normal production, as determined by pre-war conditions. Iron ore consumption showed a steady increase between 1927 and 1930; a marked decline began in 1930 and reached its culmination in 1932, when the recorded consumption of ore was 293,353 to11s, about 16 per cent of the average consumption during the first four years of the decade; the last four years of the decade show a gradual increase in consumption; the amount of ore used in 1936 was still slightly below the amount used ten years before, in 1927 (see Table 1, top).

THE Mackenzie River Valley proper extends from Great Slave lake to the Arctic ocean (see map, Figure 1). From Fort Providence, near Great Slave lake, to Aklavik, near the Arctic coast, the distance by river is 1,000 miles. This will give some idea of the extent of the region. Throughout the length of the river valley, the Precambrian complex rocks are overlain by unaltered sedimentary rocks several thousand feet in thickness. These sediments are dominantly marine and Palaeozoic in age. In places, the Palaeozoic strata are overlain unconformable by Cretaceous an Tertiary sediments. The strata have been folded and, in general, the inclination of the beds to the horizontal is comparatively gentle. Here, then, we have the essentials for potential oil fields covering an area over 1,000 miles in length. This is probably the largest comparatively unexplored potential petroleum region in North America, and surface evidences of oil in the form of seepages occur in several places. Many of these seeps were known to the early explorers, and the first Geological Survey report on the Mackenzie River region, containing the results of field work carried out by R. G. McConnell in 1887-88, noted the petroliferous character of the Devonian strata and the indications of petroleum(l). This region is, however, handicapped by distance from markets and sources of supply of materials; by lack of modern transport facilities; by short season for river transport, and mountainous country separating the valley from the Pacific seaboard; and by the long winter season with weather that makes outdoor work difficult. These factors have tended to discourage the enthusiasm of would-be promoters, and so development in this region has been slow In 1920, a test well drilled about fifty miles northwest of Fort Norman discovered oil in commercial quantity, and three additional wells proved a small area to be productive.

The nearest railway stations are at St. Peters, which is thirty-two miles southwest of the mine, and at Sydney. Good gravel-surfaced roads connect the mine to the railways.The mine is producing at the rate of 600 tons a day of ore containing zinc, lead, copper, and minor amounts of silver and gold. At the present time the mill feed averages 9 .per cent combined metals, of which zinc makes u:p 7 1per cent and lead and copper each 1 per cent.General GeologyThe ore being mined ,by Mindamar occurs in a shear zone parallel to a northeasterly striking, vertically dipping, series of rocks consisting of rhyolite tuff, rhyolite, minor more basic flow rocks, and diorite (Figure 2). In the vicinity of the mine, these rocks have been termed the Mine Series. They belong to the Bourinot group, which has been assigned by L. J. Weeks to the Middle Cambrian. At the latitude of the mine, the Bourinot group is bounded on the northwest by the Stirling fault and extends eastward for two miles."

"Ilo Copper Smelter operates since 2007 with an ISASMELTTM furnace as a single smelting unit (1,200,000 tpy) associated with two Rotary Holding Furnaces for separation of matte and slag, and which directly produces a discard slag. Southern Peru continually has been improving the slag chemistry of its ISASMELTTM furnace in order to reduce copper losses, given its big economic impact due to large slag mass generation. The present paper describes the influence of the CaO, Al2O3 and magnetite content in the slag of the ISASMELTTM furnace correlated with the SiO2/Fe ratio and its liquidus slag. Also it defines the best slag chemistry and operating practice in order to reduce the copper losses without compromise the bricks life of the furnace.INTRODUCTIONIlo Copper Smelter of Southern Peru (Grupo Mexico) is located on the southern coast of Peru, and treats mainly copper concentrates produced in its own mines (Toquepala and Cuajone).The modernized smelter was commissioned in 2007 and operates with an ISASMELT™ furnace as a single smelting unit (1,200,000 tpy), which is associated with two Rotary Holding Furnaces (RHF) for separation of matte and slag. This slag is directly sent to the dump. Figure 1 shows the smelter flow diagram.The ISASMELT™ process is a bath-smelting process using a single lance. The lance tip is immersed into a molten slag bath contained within the stationary, vertical, refractory-lined ISASMELT™ furnace. The injection of oxygen-enriched air, through the lance into the slag results in a highly turbulent molten bath. Feed material falling into the turbulent bath from above reacts rapidly, resulting in extremely high productivity for a relatively small bath volume."

Introduction The subject matter of this paper will be treated under two heads: (1) experimental work and the development of the purification system, and (2) the operation of the commercial plant. During 1927-28, a two-ton slag-retreating plant was in operation at the smelter for experimental purposes. Details of this operation and of the commercial plant are presented in a paper by G. E. Murray, read before the Annual General Meeting of the Institute in April, 1933 (1). A point which has considerable bearing on the subject of the present paper, and which was not emphasized by Mr. Murray, is the concentration of volatile impurities in the zinc oxide fume produced. The result of the operation of the slag fuming furnace is largely to confine in a closed circuit all the minor constituents of the Sullivan concentrates, both lead and zinc. They pass into the feed of the zinc fuming furnace, with the result that all impurities which volatilize-such as arsenic, antimony, tin, fluorine, etc.-report in the zinc oxide product. The accompanying condensed flow-sheet (Figure 1) will illustrate this. The only outlet for impurities which is not shown is the small tonnage which passes the Cottrell plants. The flow-sheet would indicate the possibility of building up a prohibitive concentration of cathodic impurities in the oxide leaching plant feed. However, after three years' continuous operation this has not occurred. Should this condition arise at some future date, discard of some tonnage of blast furnace slag is indicated. In Mr. Murray's paper, the much greater flexibility of blast furnace operation, due to the slag fuming furnace, is stressed, particularly as to the lead content of the slag. The requirements of our lead refinery call for a bullion containing about 0.70 percent antimony.

"Hallnor mine is in the township of Whitney, Porcupine district. To date, its production of gold has been second largest in the east Porcupine field. Ore was discovered in the property in 1936 by diamond drilling in overburdened country. This drilling was undertaken by Noranda Mines following the discovery of ore in conglomerate at Pamour 1 mile to the east.Milling commenced at the Hallnor in June 1938, and to the end of 1945 432,000 oz. gold had been produced from 889,000 tons of ore, giving an average recovery of 0.49 oz. a ton.The West mine of Pamour, the Broulan orebody, and the veins on the Hallnor and Bonetal are all parts of a mile long vein system that has been separated into three sections by cross faulting. In consequence, they could well have been described in one paper. In treating them individually the viewpoint obtained from each may lead to conflicting opinions, and any conclusions advanced in this paper on the general structure should be modified by the conclusions advanced in papers on the neighbouring properties.GENERAL GEOLOGYRock FormationsThe Hallnor orebodies occur within 400 feet of the contact between lavas and sediments, and may lie in either lavas or sediments. The lavas near the ore consist of flows of pillowed andesite and one flow of more acid and less sheared and chloritized lava locally named trachyte. These flows strike east-west and dip steeply. At the surface on the east side of the property the volcanics have been intensely altered to a massive carbonate rock having a north-south thickness in excess of 1,000 feet . This carbonate body extends west across the property with a plunge of 45° (Fig. 1)."

The mine is entered by a central vertical shaft, strongly timbered, and containing two compartments-one for the passenger cage, the other for the large skips bringing the ore to the surface. A man-way, for emergencies, is also provided, parallel to the shaft. The cage is a single-deck steel box, carrying about thirty persons; by means of arrangements above and below, it can also hoist and lower materials needed in the workings. Levels are run at intervals of 100 feet. In special cases, where the ore conditions warrant, sub-levels are operated, such as those at 1,113 feet and 1,123 feet (Fig. 7), which are connected by winzes with the 11 th level. One of these was pushed for 40 feet, and then abandoned because it was unprofitable to take up ore of the grade encountered. The ore between levels is removed by stoping. The drifts follow the course of the veins as much as possible, with numerous cross-cuts. Winzes, raises, connections, etc., are blasted out where needed. The main drifts are at least 8 ft. high by about 9 ft. wide. All former narrow drifts had to be widened sorne time ago, by ruling of the Ontario Department of Mines, to lessen the danger of accidents with cars in the small passages. Accurate plans of the under-ground workings are kept in the office, and extensive surveying is always being done underground to keep the maps up to date, measure the cubical contents of stopes, and so forth. Timber is extensively used in the construction of supports and chutes, and in the sinking of the shaft. Steel and concrete are too expensive to compete with timber, which 1s abundant in such sections as have escaped forest tires.

"The Northeastern part of the Cariboo district lies in the big bend of the Fraser River between Quesnel and McBride. The area shown on Figure 1 extends from just west of Wells to Isaac Lake, about 30 miles across the regional strike of beds.Topographically the area extends from the moderately well dissected Interior Plateau in the west through a transition zone to the fully dissected Cariboo Mountains in the east.The area is an important source of lode and placer gold. The Cariboo Gold Quartz and Island Mountain lode-gold mines have produced more than 32 million dollars in bullion since 1932. Placer-mining has probably produced an equivalent or greater amount, although only 15 million dollars is officially recorded because accurate statistics. were not kept until fourteen years after the origiiaal gold rush of 1860.The regional structure of the Barkerville district was summarized by Lang in the Jubilee Volume (1948, pp. 141-149). Since then a large amount of detailed and areal mapping by the writers has expanded the information available and made necessary a complete revision of the regional geology. Much of the information summarized in this paper, together with a full discussion of the revisions, may be found in British Columbia Department of Mines Bulletins, Nos. 34 and 38, but other information is as yet un-published.Rocks of the Kaza group are exposed in the core of the Lanezi anti-clinorium between Spectacle and Isaac Lakes. The main part of the group is composed of greenish micaceous greywacke and greenish schist with knots of garnet, biotite, or both, and minor amounts of pebble conglomerate. The upper 1,000 feet is composed of white to brown quartzites and brown phyllites. Altogether, about 6,000 feet of the group is exposed. 1t is of latest Precambrian, i. e. Windermere, age."

Denison Mines Corp. (“Denison”) has a 90% interest in the Wheeler River Uranium Project (“Wheeler River”) located along the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan between the Key Lake mill and the McArthur River uranium mine. The project is host to the high-grade Phoenix and Gryphon uranium deposits, discovered by Denison in 2008 and 2014 respectively, which include combined Indicated Mineral Resources of 132.1 million pounds U3O8 (1,809,000 tonnes at an average grade of 3.3% U3O8). The Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”), completed in accordance with NI 43-101 in September 2018, is highlighted by the selection of the In-Situ Recovery (“ISR”) mining method for the development of the Phoenix deposit, with an estimated average operating cost of $4.33 (US$3.33) per pound U3O8. Phoenix is the highest-grade undeveloped uranium deposit known globally, including Indicated Mineral Resources of 166,000 tonnes at 19.1% U3O8 for 70.2 million pounds U3O8. The paper aims to provide a summary of Wheeler River and an overview of the proposed development of the Phoenix and Gryphon deposits according to the PFS completed for the Project. Further details regarding the PFS, including additional scientific and technical information are described in greater detail in the NI 43-101 Technical Report titled "Pre-Feasibility Study for the Wheeler River Uranium Project, Saskatchewan, Canada" dated October 30, 2018 with an effective date of September 24, 2018. "Heap leaching of gold ores in permafrost conditions is feasible provided certain criteria are met. These criteria include relatively short heap leach residence time and the availability of waste heat.This paper describes the conceptual design of such a system for a mining operation in the North West Territories of Canada. The design includes the concept of continuous countercurrent leaching in enclosed ore heaps.Indicative capital and operating costs are given.INTRODUCTIONIn April 1984, Acres Davy McKee Engineering Inc. (ADM Eng.) in association with Ontario Research Foundation (ORF), was invited to carry out a preliminary design, cost estimate and financial analysis to assess the viability of gold heap leaching in a permafrost region in North West Territories, Canada.An orebody was being explored which could, by nature of its mineralogy, be upgraded substantially by crushing and screening in the size range of 1/4 in. to 3/4 in. It was proposed to process the screen undersize through an existing gold mill on site and to treat the oversize material in a heap leach facility to be constructed adjacent to the existing mill.Despite the formidable challenges imposed by isolation, permafrost and harsh winter conditions, the heap leach project was considered worthy of examination because of the relatively high grade of the heap leach material (> 0.1 oz/ton), very short leach times (in the range of 1 to 4 days) and the availability of substantial quantities of waste heat from the diesel generating station on site.Design challenges included the necessity to maintain the permafrost in frozen condition, to prevent freezing of ore and leach solution, to limit size of construction materials to that which could be carried in a Hercules freight plane and to contain water usage at an absolute minimum level."

"THE mineral industry is constantly undergoing changes and facing challenges, and today we are in the midst of another serious one -namely, manpower requirement at every level in the mines, shops and plants. In the not too distant past we had a situation where labour was plentiful, although the equipment, by present-day standards, was quite inadequate, and that's easily understandable when you look back at the primitive methods by which our Western mines were first developed and operated, and then improved by the inventiveness and ingenuity of man.I'd like to show you a few slides from drawings made by Buck O'-Donnell which illustrate some of yesterday's methods of mining. Some of you probably had first-hand experience with some of these so you know they were tedious, time-consuming and involved a lot of heavy labour.Taking the Anaconda Company operations at Butte as an example, we can see what has happened in just the past ten years. In August of 1956, the Butte mines had 5,516 day's-pay employees and 976 salaried employees, for a total payroll of 6,492. In August of this year, there were 3,645 day's-pay employees and 605 on the salaried roll, for a total of 4,250. The number of contract miners had gone from 1,347 in 1956 to 606 in 1966 and that of other underground miners from 2,893 ten years ago to 1,149 this year. Along with these changes, however, another change of special significance has taken place, and that is in the number of skilled craftsmen, surface engineers and so on required for our operations. In 1966, we had 1,890 of these people, 600 more than in 1956 and nearly three times as many as just twenty years ago."

"Finance Minister Donald Macdonald's budget of May 25, 1976 featured a restructuring of the anti-inflation profit controls and a grab bag of tax changes, some of direct interest to the mining industry. All Canadian taxpayers now will be permitted to write off immediately 100% of mineral and oil and gas exploration expenses included after• May 25, 1976 and before July 1 1979. The cost of acquitting Canadian resource property after May 6, 197.4 from a federal or provincial government will now clearly be included in Canadian development expense, and provincial drilling and exploration incentives received after May 25, 1976 will not reduce exploration and development expense for federal income tax purposes. Under tough new anti-inflation profit controls, all controlled businesses, except distributions, will essentially have one uniform set of rules for• determining allowable profit margins; this allowable margin will be determined by product line or by over-all net margin and will be 85% of the higher of the margin obtained in the five years preceding October• 13, 1975 or the one year preceding May 1, 1976. The basic capital cost allowance system is to continue, but many rates will be revised. The ability to offset losses created through claiming capital cost allowances on leased equipment, etc. against other income will be ended with respect to transactions entered into a/te1• budget night. Miscellaneous other tax changes will raise the low rate base for Canadian-controlled private corporations to $750,000 increase retitement plan contribution limits and reduce the rate of branch tax imposed on branches of corporations resident in a country with which Canada has a comprehensive tax treaty to equal the withholding tax rate on dividends under that treaty."

"In 2002, Kennecott Utah Copper Copperton Concentrator installed an Expert Control system for optimization of their SAG and Ball milling circuits. The advanced process control has been well received and is utilized well over 95% of the time. In the years since, many lessons have been learned and many advances have been made. Improvements have produced millions of dollars of benefits and have included directly controlling feedrate with complex logic as opposed to using a bearing pressure controller, modifications to how sound is used for control, modifying logic for maximizing asset utilization and using advanced control for automating equipment restart. INTRODUCTIONRio Tinto’s Kennecott Copperton Concentrator produces copper, molybdenum, gold and silver. The mill has 4 SAG mills (SAG 1-3, 34 foot diameter and SAG 4 36 foot diameter), 8 ball mills and copper and molybdenum flotation plants, as seen in Figure 1. The 2010 average data is shown in Table 1.In 2002, a Metso Cisa OCS Expert Control system was installed at Copperton for SAG and Ball mill advanced control. The expert control was first placed on SAG 2; data from the first few weeks compared with operator performance indicated approximately an 11 percent increase in throughput. After full commissioning, the system was gradually refined further by plant personnel to develop key performance indices based on SAG feed size, refinement of the sound setpoint for control of mill speed and throughput, specific rules to help the adjustment of speed based on loss of a feeder, etc. With the addition of the pebble crushing circuit, the expert control began utilizing a model estimation of crushed pebble bin level to help stabilize the impact of returned crushed and uncrushed pebbles on the SAG mills. As the ore and limitations change, it is necessary to evolve the SAG logic to better handle any constraints."

"Laterite ore processed by the Ambatovy Joint Venture in Madagascar is primarily limonitic in nature, containing about 40 to 45 wt.% Fe and 1.1 wt.% Ni. The process selected for treatment of this ore considered the behavior and deportment of iron in each step of the commercial flowsheet. Such considerations included nickel and cobalt recoveries, reagent consumptions, liquid-solid separation characteristics, and both intermediate and final product purities. In this paper, the results for the first three years of commercial operation at Ambatovy are compared with the design parameters, with emphasis on the behavior of iron.INTRODUCTION The main component of nickeliferous laterite ore is iron, and the Ambatovy deposit in Madagascar is no exception. The Ambatovy ore is primarily limonitic in nature, containing about 40 to 45 wt.% Fe and 1.1 wt.% Ni. Since the nickel content of the ore is roughly one fortieth that of iron, successful recovery of nickel depends on close control of the behavior of iron in the selected process. Exploration of the Ambatovy area, which is located to the east of Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, dates back to 1960, when the Malagasy Service Géologique carried out a limited pitting and auger-drilling program. Phelps Dodge Corporation (now Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold, Inc.) was granted the mining rights to the property in 1995 and carried out significant resource definition, environmental assessment and engineering studies between 1995 and 2001 (Chou, Rooke, Williams, & Hanks, 2000). In 2003, Dynatec Corporation, which was formed in 1997 by the merger of Dynatec International Ltd. and Sherritt International Consultants Inc., signed a joint venture agreement with subsidiaries of Phelps Dodge to evaluate the Ambatovy Nickel Project. Dynatec then became extensively involved in the development of the project, including process selection and pilot plant testing in Fort Saskatchewan (Collins et al., 2004, 2005, 2009; Collins & Vardill, 2005). Dynatec acquired 100% of the project in 2005 and a joint venture between Dynatec, Sumitomo Corporation, Korea Resources Corporation (KORES), and SNC-Lavalin Inc. (SLI) was formed shortly thereafter to provide funding for further development. SLI was responsible for engineering, procurement and construction management of the commercial facilities. Sherritt International Corporation reacquired Dynatec Corporation, including 40% ownership in the Ambatovy Nickel Project, in 2007. The current Ambatovy Joint Venture consists of an integrated nickel and cobalt mining, processing, refining and marketing enterprise between subsidiaries of Sherritt (40% owner and mine and plant operator), Sumitomo Corporation (32.5% owner) and KORES (27.5% owner)."
