Abstract

The paper investigates the influence of slope height, slope angle, slope material, and rock size on rockfall runout distance in openpit mines. Using statistical analysis and simulation, the study aims to improve rockfall hazard assessment and catch bench design by identifying key variables affecting rockfall behavior.
