Abstract

The Henderson mine, a panel cave mine in Colorado, has undergone multiple ventilation system changes to meet dynamic airflow needs. This paper explains the ventilation designs for different production panels, the challenges faced, and the modifications made to optimize the ventilation systems. The study highlights the importance of a robust ventilation system for safe and productive mining.
