Abstract

The paper review the process the minerals industry and the materials revolution. For a long time, Latin América attemps at industrialization have been attempts in part, by need to important some of the many raw materials that industrial nations must have. However, the industrial sistem may be in for some of the many raw materials that drastic changes would increase the mineral self sufficiency of countries that are industrialized. In this way, the materials revolution would be a boom to Latin America, it would reduce some of the serious obstacles to the goals which all Americans seem to share.
