Abstract

In many metal mines in China, the 70B2 series of fans has been used for main fans for a long time. These fans generate higher static pressures than are required for the relatively high equivalent orifices of the ventilation systems of many of the mines. As a consequence, their running efficiency is common only around 30%. The loss of power is significant.
