The Development and Application of Laser Surveying Systems

This paper introduces the technology used in laser surveying systems, and the development of a reflectorless one-man total station. These systems are being used for applications such as blast pattern surveys, face profiling, muckpile surveys and the general survey of inaccessible areas. Black Diamond Solutions is continuing to assess new technology and develop integrated systems for applications in the mining industry.
