Abstract
With the challenge of clearing steel production and increasing of the productivity of converter, the application of hot metal pretreatment technology in torpedo car become a key process in the steelmaking. In this article, the technologies, production and development trend of Al2O3-SiC-C bricks for torpedo cars in China are reviewed, the current application situation and main requirements for the Al2O3-SiC-C bricks are also addressed.
