Abstract

This paper is summary of the practical solutions developed in the excavation of drilled piers (caissons) at GPCo's Plant Scherer, Juliette, GA. Plant Scherer is a 3,245 Megawatt Fossil Fuel Powerhouse and, when completed, will be one of the largest fossil fuel plants in the Southeast.
