Abstract
Potash dominates the industrial mineral scene in Saskatchewan
accounting for 44% of total provincial mineral production
in 1981. More than 7 million tonnes of potash have
been produced annualy in recent years; ten underground mines
are presently (1983) active. Sodium sulphate and cement are
also important mineral products. Construction aggregates,
clay products, bentonite, salt, peat moss and sulphur complete
the list of industrial mineral products.
