Abstract

At present, there are different traditional and modern methods for ore grindability evaluation. The correct and rational approach to sampling, testing methods and mill sizing enables one to design a workable technology. This paper contains TOMS institute experience in different grinding indices determination over the last 7 years (SAG Design Test, BWi, CWi, RWi, and other). Mill sizing examples and circuits modeling for the projects in Russia and Kazakhstan are considered. Keywords: ore grindability, SAG Design Test
