Abstract
"In many operations the two most overlooked aspects in the drilling and blasting process is theblast optimization and explosive selection. Often times we find a blast design that seems to work andproduce acceptable results and will use this cut afier cut, even years. When in reality one should never become complacent and should be constantly looking for ways to improve the drilling and blasting operation."
