Abstract

There are a lot of key factors involved in achieving a successful Safety Program. I would like to discuss some of these factors and how they have played a major part in our success at Jacobs Ranch Mine. The areas I will cover concern: 1) Facility Standards (Corporate/Minesite), 2) Communication (Employee/Management -"Teamwork"). 3) Proper Training (Employee/Management). 4) Employee Attitude. 5) Incentive Programs. 6) Health Programs. 7) Results/Benefits.
