Abstract

INTRODUCTION The Jones Island Inline Pump Station is a major element of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's (MMSD) Inline Storage Facilities Plan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. See Figure 1. This underground 6.6 cu m/day (150 MGD) Pumping Station will be located immediately south of the existing Jones Island Treatment Plant at the confluence of the Menomonee and Kinnickinnic Rivers on the Milwaukee Bay, south of the Milwaukee River.
