Abstract

The performance of rock pass systems has a significant contribution to the economics of underground mines. Operational concerns include hang-ups due to arching of material, blockage and degradation of the rock pass. This papers presents the preliminary results of a comprehensive rock pass database on the engineering and operation of rock pass systems in Quebec underground mines.
