Abstract

The rock blasting environmental impacts such as: flyrock, groud vibrations,airblast,and/or noise, dust and fumes are identified and mentioned. Some comments on the correction factors that might be taken into consideration to calculate the initial velocity and the maximum projection of the rock fragments are mentioned as well.
