RI 3373 Microprojection Method For Counting Impinger Dust Samples ? Introduction

Broom and Yant6/ recently described a. microprojection method for determining the particle-size distribution and number concentration of samples of dust collected from the air by such samplers as the Owens jet dust counter) and the thermal precipitator8/ . This method was developed to obviate or reduce the eyestrain consequent to the regular filar-micrometer method9/ and to save time and work. The article stated that work was in progress on a micrcprojection method for counting impinger dust samples; this article describes the method developed.
