Abstract

A synthetic fiber manufactured by one chemical company has been treated by another chemical company to produce a cloth fabric capable of performing ion-exchange functions. Only a few delimiting parameters have been established. This paper will discuss briefly the highlights of a functioning ion-exchange cloth. Throughout the paper this fabric will be referred to as "Fabric Z".
