Abstract

This paper presents the results of on-going investigations on the performance of support systems in Québec underground mines. The focus of these investigations is on site observations complemented by laboratory investigations. Of particular interest is deducing the corrosion rate, at selected mine sites, as determined by the installation of monitoring coupons.
