Abstract
IF the question should be asked at this time: "Does pure iron have allotropic transformations?" the reply would necessarily be, "We do not know." And it is doubtful whether anybody, anywhere, is in a FIG. 1.-EFFECT OF CARBON ON HYSTERESIS LOSS OF IRON-SILICON ALLOYS. (ALL OTHER IMPURITIES AND EFFECT.
