Abstract

The Escalante silver-bearing deposit, consisting of a relatively wide and continuous quartz vein, contains openings ranging from minute to a few feet wide on the footwall and hanging wall. These openings (water courses or vug holes) are I believed to have been created by the fluctuation of the water table.
