Abstract

The specification of the steel slag aggregate will be mutated if the ag- gregate is prepared by a single type crusher. The specification stability of the steel slag improved significantly when the jaw crusher and the cone-crusher are com- binedinthecrushingprocess.Thecombinationofthecrusherandscreenisapplied to produce steel slag aggregate while the roller washing process for removing the dustfromthesurfaceofaggregate.Apilotproductionlinehasbeenestablishedby this technology. The specification stability and the road performance indicators of thesteelslagaggregateshavebeengreatlyimprovedbythispilotproductionlineas compared with the traditional production line. The particulate of the steel slag aggregate is decreased by 81% compared to the traditional line. (cid:1) (cid:1)
