Abstract

This paper describes the state-of-the-art of pneumatic transport systems that are capable of conveyinq waste cuttings generated by raise drills during shaft construction projects. Additionaly other examples of applications pertaining to pneumatic transport systems qualified to convey abrasive and nonabrasive materials (&., gravel, shale, coal, ore, and limestone) will be presented.
