Abstract
Beall: Mr. Donovan, would you tell me something about your early life, leading up to your going into I he mining industry? Donovan: I was born in St. Charles, Minn., on November 18, 1879. At that time my father was a school teacher, but he later entered the Congregational ministry. He was pastor in several small Minnesota towns, so we moved about quite a bit.
