Abstract
We report on the progress of an automated mineralogical deportment of fluorine (F) in two portions of the Grasberg District for the development of metallurgical amelioration protocols for Cu sulfide concentrates. Fluorine detection limits in automated SEM technologies range from 1% (TIMA) to about 9% (QEMSCAN), however substitution in hydrophobic minerals or those reporting to concentrate is typically much lower (
