Abstract

This contract is concerned with feasibility studies, design and fabrication of a prototype hand-held test instrument and a machine-mounted test Instrument for measurement of electrical shock hazards of mining machines. This report presents the proposed and detailed design of the hand-held test instrument and the machine-mounted test instrument. Theory of operation of each instrument is discussed and includes the operating parameters.
