Abstract
The responses of a section of railroad to ground subsidence process was monitored as it was undermined by a longwall panel. The subsidence data collected and the observations made through this monitoring program could help us understand betteer the ground subsidence process and its impact on linear structures such as railroads. The data analysis techniques used and the assessment methods presented could be useful to researchers practitioners in the field of mining subsidence.
