Abstract
Cuba is a mineral rich area, and the Cuban government is encouraging mining investment in the country. Joint ventures with government entities are encouraged. This paper will give some insights into the laws and regulations, and the agencies to contact for investment and development. The present-day situation of the US sanctions against Cuba will be covered.
