239, Contact-Gwiorneters. - The interfacial angles of crystals are measured by means of instruments which are called goniometers. The simplest form is the contact- or hand-goniometer one form of which is represented in Fig. 377. This contact-goniometer consists of a card on which is printed a semi- circular arc graduated to half degrees at the center of which is fastened a celluloid arm which may be turned to any desired position.
