Mapco Coal's Incentive Program

MAPCO Inc. is an integrated energy company involved in oil, gas, gas liquids, pipelines, and coal. The Coal Segment has installed a simple incentive program based on profit, tons produced, and hours worked at each operation. The plan has two segments-production bonus and profit sharing. Each segment is described and the results, which include high productivity, good safety, and high morale are discussed.
