Abstract

Potash is the primary industrial mineral produced in Saskatchewan, followed, in terms of gross value, by aggregate, sodium sulphate, salt, potassium sulphate, peat, clays, silica sand, calcium chloride brine and "clinker." Potentially economic deposits of kaolin, diamond and building stone are under evaluation.
