Abstract

This paper is one of a series being prepared by the Bureau of Mines on mining methods and costs at various mines in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and is a description of practice at the Edwards mine of the St. Joseph Lead Co. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS The cooperation and assistance of the officials of the St. Joseph Lead Co. in permitting publication of this paper and providing every facility for its preparation are gratefully acknowledged.
