Abstract

The history of bulk loaded explosives begins with the loading of black powder and RRP (Railroad Powder) into vertical boreholes. The early air place, net of black powder and nitrostarch dynamites is covered, as are the brands and formulas of the nitroglycerinsensitized "Bagged" powders.
