Abstract

HARVEY S. MUDD has the unusual distinction of having virtually inherited a Directorship in the -A.I.M.E., for he was appointed to the Board to fill the unexpired term of his father in 1926. Since then he has served as a Director continuously until 1936, and now he is a candidate for Vice-President. One of the first words that young Harvey tried to say was "ore," for he was born in Leadville, Colorado, in the heyday of that camp, where Seeley W. Mudd for years ran the Small Hopes mine.
