Abstract

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Harrison W Craver, until recently librarian of the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh, to be Director of the combined libraries of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Institute of Mining Engineers, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, and the United Engineering Society. DR. HARRISON W. CRAVER. Dr. Craver was born in Owaneco, Illinois, August 10, 1875. He was educated in the public schools of Carmi, Illinois, and Terre Haute, Indiana, and the Rose Polytechnic Institute, from which he was graduated in 1895, having specialized in industrial chemistry.
