Coal is a mineral and is extensively used as a solid fuel in developing nationsand hasa sizeable share inthe global fossil fuel reserve. Utilization of this resource generates excess spoil and large volume of low grade waste to the environment. In recent years there have been serious research on enhancing its value and exploring the utility of this carbonaceous material to novel carbon materials.
