Abstract

Sampling studies of high silver (+70%), gold dore led to the development of mine site sampling techniques and superintending for the collection of samples for assay and bullion weights for settlement of shipped material. Data is presented which confirms the reliability of the procedures against the traditional remelting and sampling at the refinery. The advantages to both mine and refiner are significant and are discussed.
