Abstract

The Deep Mixing Method is a very valuable tool for combating problems related to in situ soil treatment, improvement, and retention. Many different variations are used throughout the world, and there is a correspondingly rich technical literature on the testing and properties of the treated soil. This paper provides a synopsis of these aspects.
