Located on steep mountainous terrain and linked by narrowroadways, the towns of Central City and Black Hawk challenged blasters to exceptionalmeasures in order to control over_break, vibration, public exposure and damage to thecharacter of these historic mining towns. Utilities were also upgraded to fit demands of asmuch as 800% volume change in one year."
