Abstract

Safety considerations apply from two perspectives in conducting shaft inspections for production and service hoists. The first is to conduct the task more effectively while minimizing the possibility that shaft deterioration may go undetected. The second is to increase security and efficiency of the inspection team in fulfilling its duties.
