Abstract
A twin tube tunnel of 2 000 meters long and an internal diameter of 6.90 m has been excavated through alluvial ground, with low overburden, using a 8.0 m diameter Earth Pressure Balanced tunneling machine with foam injection and extruded concrete behind segment.
