Abstract
Mathematical modeling and computer simulation are two valuable quantitative tools that are being effectively applied to mineral process- systems. This paper presents an up-to-date assessment of process modeling and simulation, identifies a number of associated challenges and opportunities and discusses in detail sane of the aspects of applying the current state-the art modeling and computational tools.
