Abstract

Systematic control of process parameters during electrorefined copper cathode production and final product inspection ensures high quality of produced "ORC brand copper. Since 1986, substantial increases in tankhouse productivity have been achieved by a number of technological and process control changes. This paper reviews the changes implemented to achieve higher productivity and cathode quality.
